The fact that Jim Root Sigs are on 4th place is (sic)
Cuz he is #4
Honestly mick Thomson’s pickups can transform any guitar into my favorite guitar
here's a game. every time fluff says "back in the 90's" go to another tab and play the closing credits music to bojack horseman.
It'll happen 500 times
This is one of my favorite comments on UA-cam
Legitimately thought Dines' and Scallon's would be on here
i thought he would've picked the schecter custom s tbh
Nerp
who doesnt love scallons
Spoiler
Yeah me too
Can you do a list of your favorite bass models?
Music man stingray. Thats it
youngster joey accurate af
More like ass models am I right?
@@youngsterjoey9038 I think he said once that his favorite was the cutlass bass
This is a great idea , my favorite is Mayones 34-37 scale bass
My favorite signature guitar is the Jackson Randy Rhoads.
idk man, for someone who loves AIC so much you'd think Jerry Cantrell's signature G&L Rampage woulda made the list. Also, Dave Grohl's DG-335 is pretty rad.
Of all the signature models I've tried (Yngwie's, Dave Murray's, George Harrison's Rosewood Tele, etc.), the only one I HAD to have was the Squier J. Mascis Jazzmaster, The neck alone is worth the price of admission!
The Ernie ball majesty is a huge favorite of mine. I’ve never played one before. But I think they look amazing.
I used to own a purple one, honestly, overpriced. But a wicked guitar.
I own one and i can say it is the best guitar i have ever owned and played
Untethered do you have the sterling or music man majesty and do you have the 2020 or older one
they play twice as good as they look
Nate Mahony I own a 2015 Music Man Majesty Polar Noir.
I'm surprised you didn't put Bill Kelliher's Sparrowhawk.
came here to say just this, the sparrowhawk is so dope
Same. My guitar player has 2 of them as well as an EC. They are all absolutely killer
@@jeffdean277 I have the eclipse and it has the lowest action out of all my guitars, no competition. I mean the strings practically lay on the frets and yet there is still no buzz and tons of sustain.
Thats the way my buddys sparrowhawks are. Absolute butter
I can hear Jared crying from here 😂
Sneaky work saving the Les Paul for spot #1 at the end, LOL.. We should've seen that coming. Well done!!
I love my BW-1! Glad to see if made the list. Your videos with it are some of my all time favs.
Hey fluff! I actually bought your Ben Weinman Sig off you years ago! I'm from Australia but was travelling to the US the next month and you sent it to Wyoming for me :) I still have it!
i put together a strat. It turned out to be a Tom Delonge guitar and I didn’t even know. Surf green. Rosewood board. Single invader humbucker. One knob. THATS MY BABY
I own a signature guitar; an LTD Alexi 200. Alexi Laiho from Children of Bodom. Ever heard of it or play it?
I like his guitar.. single bridge pick up..
I loved laihos signature
I see that antique ivory in the back! Love how massive that thing sounds, got mine a few month ago!
I just ordered a BW-1 based on your original review. I can’t wait to get my hands on this amazing guitar!!!
I grabbed a malia RD in the uk recently, it's an absolute monster, plays amazingly and I personally love the look of it, super comfy too
I love the Lee malia models. They work so well for all genres, play amazingly and look beautiful
Hey Fluff! From the other signature models you like, in what spot would you place the fender Tom Delonge model? Great list! Thanks!
Yes I have the ESP LTD BW-1 with Fishman PU. I got it after your old review. Only because of you! Amazing.
You say the guitar is now off production, but I still see it on ESP website and on many sellers (today is 09 sept 2020). Long life to BW-1
So many great guitars listed here. I have a PRS DGT (Dave Grissom) that is my #1. Love that axe
My favorite signature model is Mark Holcomb’s PRS, it’s so comfortable and sounds great
Dan Jacobs, Jim Root, Synyster Gates, Nick Hippa, Kirk Hammett have all entered the chat...
Holy shit i cant stress enough about how nice syns guitar looks
The only thing that might be even considered slightly bad about it is its overusage by everyone
Jim Root's signature is in this list..
Yeah, loving the Dan Jacobs Modells even though it's too special for most people :D
Jim roots guitar was number 4...
Mark Holcombs signature PRS is been my favorite since the SE model came out. Amazing guitar for the price imo
My friend has the Angel Vivaldi Charvel and that thing is beautiful. I have the Jim Root tele and it’s honestly my favorite guitar, I’m hoping to they his Jazzmaster too 👍
I'm so glad that I picked up the PRS SE Zach Myers! The fact that it's only an SE model makes it feel more special to me, since I can't afford a core PRS guitar right now.
I have a J Mascis signature Jazzmaster and its so nice. I love it
I've always been a fan of pointy guitars, so the ml's that dean make and the old dime washburns are my favorite. I'm very slowly starting to turn towards the round body styles as I just purchased a solar s1.6blb with an evertune and the guitar not only is a beast but looks sexy.
Not played many of these but I do own the the Jim Root jazzmaster and it is an amazing guitar. Looking forward to getting his new one
I’ve always loved the look of Jerry Horton’s tempest, also Syn Gates’ Schecter
It's so fitting that Syn's guitar is called the "Avenger" lol. Those pinstripes are rad, you should check out Drum City Guitar Land on Instagram, they post some Schecter custom shop stuff and a few variations on the Syn model that are new and fresh like a Dimebag Lightning version or a yellow with black stripes!
I've got several favorites. The Angus young signature sg, the John 5 signature signature Tele, the synester gates signature schecter and the Wayne hussey signature schecter 12 string
My pick: Mikael Akerfeldt PRS SE, Joe Dulpantier Charvel, and Tom Delonge ES 333
I literally ordered the BW-1 based on your original video. Also an FYI, this guitar is not discontinued. It’s currently on “preorder” on their website with an expected delivery date of 11/11/20.
I'm going ho agree 100% on the Tremonti model. And yes you do need one.
I have the Bjorn Gelotte signature white Les Paul. It is phenomenal.
Chris Cornell’s 335, Johnny Marr’s Jag, Buddy Guy’s polka Strat, and of course any of Hendrix guitars 🤘🏻
Ltd nw44 Neil Westfall signature gets my pick. Simplistic, clean look, and so powerful from the bareknuckle aftermath
I gotta say the Charvel "Jake E. Lee" Models is a fave of mine. As well as any Eddie Van Halen Model that's out there regardless of who built it LOL! I Love the Gibson RD Influenced Balaguer "Fluff" Model you had as well. Great taste in your list Fluff. CHEERS!
Nice list, Fluff. I get hot flushes when i think of the James Shaffer Signature Ibanez Apex 200. HNNNNNG ❤
The music man majesty-monarchy is the most unreal guitar I’ve ever played. My favorite signature guitar by a long shot.
I own both a lee malia rd and a charvel nova.
Both are killer guitars!
Legitimately surprised the Hagstrom Fantomen isn't in here since you're a big Ghost fan. I've owned one for years now and sig model aside the thing almost plays itself. Such a solid guitar for the money.
Hey fluff: Great video as always. I would add any of the Jackson Phil Collen PC1 signature models. Thanks
The Epiphone Bjorn Gelotte “Jotun” signature LP is great too and it comes with its very own bottle opener.
I love th is guitar
it‘s a beauty... especially the white one...
I also owned a Reverend Shade Balderose signature. Really wish I had never gotten rid of that thing. Such a bad ass sounding axe. Also a very cool matte army green finish
My very first guitar was a Kirk Hammett signature ESP, mainly for the Bone Breaker pickups
I had a Jag-Stang in the 90's. Can't tell you I'd it was legitimately good or not because my judgement may be clouded by my love for it and how much I miss it.
PRS DGT is a versatile and awesome guitar.
That Dustin Kensrue is on my want list for a while.
A couple that I enjoy, and want, are the St Vincent music man, the Yvette Young Talman, the Omar Rodriguez Lopez Mariposa, the Matt West Signature Reverend, the Jim Adkins Tele, and many more
my favorite is probably the Washburn N4. and the second one , the ESP SC607B.
My favorite signature model will always be the Ibanez Universe, the first (and imho still the best) mass production 7 string
Got a Kramer Baretta 84 Diver Down, not sure if you'd call it a signature model or not but it definitely shreds
love ya man! keep it up!
my favourites are the Edwards E-MA-'98 Aloha Ken Ken Yokoyama Signature and the Fernades/Zodiac Works TE-Hotei Tomoyasu Hotei Siganture
I gotta say that the esp bb-600b is my favorite sig model
Some of my favorites are the Hagstrom Fantomen, Ace Frehley’s Gibson Les Paul, and Lindsey Buckingham’s Rick Turner Model-1.
Thank you so much for actually bringing to light that the les paul is a sig. I felt like I was the only person who realized that
the J Yuenger iceman was sweet, but i used to love the Robin Machete's that he used to play also
ESP Dave Mustaine DV8R, Alexi Laiho, Jeff Ling, Willie Adler (older camo version), all Periphery sigs, Caparison Killswitch Engage sigs.
I love Michael Amotts dean guitars tyrant series, they look awesome, and I had one and I miss it a lot. only downside was that scale was 24,75...
My favorite signature guitar so far is Ibanez JPM 100 (P1 version) absolutely beautiful
The only signature guitar I have is a modified Brent Hinds EGC (which is a little contentious between him and Kevin).
Every time Fluff says “back in the 90’s” the BoJack theme song starts playing in my head.
I'm a huge fan of Carvins Jason Becker blue guitar and not enough people are aware if him or his guitars. The Paradise guitars numbers guitar of his was awesome too.
A few of my favorite signature guitars are the Ernie Ball and Sterling Majesty, ESP LTD Sparrowhawk, Epiphone ThunderHorse and the Charvel Joe Duplantier!🤘
Please make a part two 🙏🏽
I'm still a huge sucker for the Zakk Wylde Bullseye camo Les Paul, but id say my favorite is still the first Gibson SG Angus Young Signature
Im so glad I own a Lee Malia RD. It’s one hell of a guitar!
I love the Jerry Cantrell G&L signature rampage guitar (blue dress style)
Should of mentioned Mark Morton Jackson Dominion and the Randy Rhoads Jackson V
James Hetfield's "Snakebyte" will always be the collest signature to me. Especially the awesome Hutchinson modded one. Sam Totman's silverburst Iceman is a close second. Absolutely love Ben Weinman's model is pretty rad too, I love the shape and ESP did start making a few LTD Xtone guitars in different finishes the year after his signature was released. The purple sparkle P-90 loaded one is just out of my budget range!
What about the other James hetfield esp shapes?
(Such as the Vulture & Truckster models)
@@tobiart1617 Not much of a Les Paul guy, but I liked the Truckster with the chipped paint look. Don't like the Vulture all that much either, the regular Flying V is the best look imo.
@@1337million oh yeah. I get what you say. Not much a Les Paul fan either. The snakebyte is pretty sick. I agree with you. The white Gibson V is definitely my favourite iconic guitar with the black esp 250 explorer. 👍
Hands down, Hetfield's LTD "The Grynch" baritone. Insane flame paint job front AND back, EMG 81/60 PUPs, with the pull-on afterburner circuit. Picked one up for $350 used back in the day, in the wake of the St. Anger nadir. Just an incredibly well made instrument that can deliver a ton of useful, unique tones. A keeper.
Adam from Architects Signature LSL is a beast!
I'm very happy with my Jim Root signature telecaster
The Eric Johnson strat would be on my list...I’m not a strat guy, but that soft-v neck is to freakin die for!!!
Gibson Custom Shop Slash signature, the previous one with the fishman pickup in the bridge. Can't get a better sounding axe. The Tobacco Burst color is gorgeous too.
Jim on 4th place. Nice one!
The squier J.mascis Jazzmaster, it just looks nice.
I still love my Dean Rusty Cooley RC7.
The Fender Malmsteen Strat is a killer signature Strat. The pick-ups, electronics, scalloped board, brass nut, aesthetics over all. It’s a very unique guitar in a deceptively familiar package.
Id like to see what you would do with a Benjamin Burnley signature there arent many high quality videos running down its features and ive been eyeballing it for a while.
I've always wanted to try the Yamaha CV820WB, the signature model for Wes Borland from Limp Bizkit and Black Light Burns.
I love my Tremonti. I wish Paul would put the trem-up rout on all the core models. But, can’t have everything, where would ya put it.
my faves are the mark holcomb PRS guitars, theyre so gooooood. in my opinion.
My List (Also no particular order)
1. Gibson Les Paul
2. Eddie Van Halen EVH Striped series
3. Eric Clapton “Blackie” Fender Stratocaster
4. Steve Vai Ibanez JEM
5. James Hetfield ESP Explorer
6. Dave Murray Fender Stratocaster
7. Daron Malakian Ibanez Iceman
8. Synyster Gates Schecter
9. Zakk Wylde “Bullseye” Gibson Les Paul Custom
10. Kurt Cobain Fender Jaguar
I had a mint ZW custom shop Les Paul I sold to finance my bands first album. My dream signature guitar I’m close to closing the deal on is a 96 ICJ100wz.
definitely happy to see BW1 on here
surprised Mark Holcomb Prs and Dustie Waring PRS arent on here
The Ibanez m80m (m8m) and the Frederik one...uuuuuhhh...love em
Fluff, I own the icj100wz iceman. Bought it from the factory in 1998. How many did they make. Can find the info on that. Just wondering how rare they are.
Dude! What about the Kurt COBAIN Jaguar?? I absolulove mine and think you should demo one. Absolutely gorgeous tones both clean and dirty. Has stock 1meg pots and dimarzio pups. Definitely a beast in its own league!
Jim roots, John 5's and Jon Deiley their customs or signatures are my favourite
You got the Tremonti PRS but the Mark Holcomb is pretty nice too dude.
The KM7 is my fav guitar amongst the 45'ish I have/had.
I bought the Music Man John Petrucci 7 string sig model. Incredible guitar.
Signature on a Check, here you go ......
Cheers from Michigan
My favorite signature guitar has forever been the Jackson PC1s from Phil Collen!!
Reverend Pete Anderson Eastsider S is a killer signature guitar! Awesome hybrid between a strat and a Tele! Reverend makes awesome guitars anyway and the Eastsider is no different!
Is it the burny custom behind you? I hope to buy one some day
EBMM JP15, Washburn Dime Stealth, Geddy Lee J Bass, Alex Lifeson's Axcess LP, Fredrik Thordendal's Stoneman, Adrien Smith's Jackson, Phil Collin Jackson, David Gilmour the black strat.
The PRS SE Bernie Marsden may be the best LP style guitar you can get for under $1k. It's got a great neck profile, rumored to be based on the neck of Bernie's '59 LP "the Beast". Sadly they're not made any more, but you still see them occasionally on Reverb.
