PRS: If you're reading this, please, please, please release a series model of fluff's PRS. Satin finish ftw! Make it a B or even a C maple top, I don't care, but the world demands satin finished bodies and necks with simple switching and knob layout. Otherwise, I'm afraid I have to break into fluff's home and steal his one. It's a 5000 mile trip from Germany, but see that's how desperate I am right now.
I have never bonded with, nor been impressed by, PRS guitars. Not even the top of the line stuff. ESP Custom Shop stuff is waaaaaay better and not as much loot.
It’s called reamping. You take the DI signals and run them through different amps and cabs. I imagine you can do the same with the programmed MIDI drums.
My Top 5 Favorite guitars: LTD EC-1000, Washburn Idol WI50V, Gibson Les Paul Studio Faded Cherry, PRS Mark Holcomb Signature, and my Ibanez Ghostrider.
My ultimate favorite guitar is a Gibson Les Paul Standard… but I couldn’t physically carry one because of the titanium implant on my left clavicle, so now I play a Gibson SG ‘61 Reissue because it’s crazy light. Had a Bare Knuckle Boot Camp Brute Force installed in the bridge position and will get a Boot Camp Old Guard neck pickup installed soon.
It’s great that the riff you played in the beginning with the RD is the same you played on the original video. Still remember when you uploaded it. Still come back to that video and the bandcamp song from time to time. Great stuff
I personally only have four guitars at the moment, so here they are in order and why: 4. Ibanez RX40. This is one I got as a mod platform guitar, to which I added a roller nut, locking tuners, and Seymour Duncan pickups. Plays great, sounds great, and if I need Strat tones, this gets me there. 3. 1966-ish Harmony Bobkat. This guitar is such an oddball, you have to love it. Sounds like a Les Paul with P90s, plays like nothing else I've ever played in the best way possible, it's just a fun little guitar to go nuts with. 2. 1981 Gibson Sonex. This has been my workhorse through the years. Weighs a ton, but has a ton of tone. It needs some TLC from years of use and abuse, but it's never let me down. 1. PRS SE Custom 24. What can I say? Plays great, always stays in tune, if I want Les Paul tones it has it, if I want Tele tones I can hit the coil split and I have that, it looks amazing, doesn't weigh a ton, sustains forever, it's just a great guitar.
Told you my favorites in the comments but really cool video man I wish you would do more of these you're pretty interesting taste and some I completely agree with pretty wide range in guitars too. The only guitars I ever really buy or Les Paul customs or explorer shapes like Ibanez destroyers
The RD reminds me of my vintage Charvel. I can't say wether RD plays the same as the Charvel. because I haven't played an RD but it sounds sort of similar. but the Charvel is also extremely heavy at almost twelve pounds. it's definitely a guitar that a person doesn't want to play standing up for any length of time.
I had 2 guitars, for like 2-3 weeks and it was awesome! Music Man Majesty and a LP Modern, true love! Couldn't keep both guitars tho and I had the Majesty for few years.
Fluff’s out here singlehandedly driving up the price of RD’s! I’m with ya! That’s one of my fav Gibson guitars and I’ve wanted one ever since I saw Grohl play one. Cheers!
Top 5 of your collection for me are as follows 1. Mr. Sparkle 2. The buckeye burl Valentine 3. Axis baritone 4. PRS tremonti 5. The stingray RS you recently got that resembles a tom delong strat. I do miss the white McCarty you had with the invader in the bridge. That was such a gnarly sounding guitar.
It’s funny…. I’ve been playing guitar since i was 10 years old- 1977. Every single guitar i have ever owned has been sub 1k. They’ve all been great workhorse instruments. Last month, i finally threw down 2k on a fender mod shop left handed hardtail strat. I love the guitar. It’s very well made, finished and it was pretty much to my specs- given the specs the mod shop offers- But is it better than my 2009 Schecter Devil? My 2010 LTD? My Dean Angel of Deth V? My Player Strat? My EVH Wolfgang special? No. Never look at the price of a guitar, and think more is better. Play it. Live with it. Price isn’t everything. Fluff is showing us 20k worth of guitars, but that doesn’t mean 20k worth of guitars are superior than 2k worth of guitars….play what speaks to you, regardless of price…..
Wow, your recent Tremonti was not in your Top 5. That was surprising. Not vibing with it like you were? Maybe when you get the PRS MT100 Amp it will be a perfect match. Hint Hint
Curious how a Balaguer with his name on it didn't even make it into honorable mentions. I know it's tough to compete with those 5 guitarts, but that was his sig for a number of years...
Hey man, out of curiosity do you have like any footage to make like a tour vlog style video. Just showing like life on the bus and backstage and all of that stuff.
I LOVE satin/matte finishes, especially with flamed tops. I always liked satin finishes on typical solid finishes because they're typically thinner. I didn't understand why someone would want it with flamed tops though, until I saw one. I think it's makes the flames look almost 3D. Matter of fact that first time I saw one, I had to run my fingers down it and fully expected to be able to feel them. I saw a Paul's guitar with this gold and black desert burst type finish. It kind like it was resonating just hanging on the wall.
2:28 vintage Fluff tones. Love it! Brings me back to when your channel was new-ish and the gear and recording world was still big and mysterious. Exciting times
Maybe I'm misremembering, but didn't you have tons of problems with the neck bending on the RD? Something like, the warmth from your hands while playing it would cause it to flex and go out of tune. Maybe that was a different guitar. Could have sworn it was the RD though.
They don't make them Custom 22s? That's a shame. 2 of the nicest and most expensive guitar I've owned were Custom 24s. Both I got in trades where I was approached and offered them. The first one I sold in under a month. The second one I decided I must be writing them off to quickly, (I mean everyone else seems to like them, right?) it lasted 6-7 weeks. I just can't do 24s. I don't like how it effects the neck pickup and I find them uncomfortable to play sitting down for long periods, my left shoulder aches from having to reach out more from having the whole bridge unit shifted towards the neck pocket to fit the other 2 frets.
I love the RD. The closest I've got is the Epiphone Lee Malia version. Not the same but still cool. Unfortunatley, the RD's fully functioning and unmodded are very expensive now.
those r+d guitars do look cool. i always thought the headstock was a mis match to the body. recently i saw one with a victory style headstock that looked real cool. wish i had the cash.
I like this video idea so much I am going to steal it. Thanks, buuuuuddy!
Hi uncle Ben
So it will be several swirl Ibanezs and Suhrs?
Heck yeah! I'd love to see your picks, too.
Such an original video idea lol!!!
I know, what a geeeenius! Who'd 'ave thunk to do a "My Top 5 Guitars", video.
Visionary!

I really wish PRS would release that as a production model its so damn sexy 😭😭
I'd take one like the 24 frets walnut top and satin finish thatLarry Lalonde has... I am a fan...
I have never bonded with, nor been impressed by, PRS guitars. Not even the top of the line stuff. ESP Custom Shop stuff is waaaaaay better and not as much loot.
You can get that exact prs made if you want, they’ll just charge you 13k usd for it
@@evanmaunders5688 I just checked my wallet. I've got 13 cents. No, sorry, 12 cents. That one cent was a squished bubble gum wrapper.
I swear he retracks the intro with every video. The tone is always SLIGHTLY different.
It’s called reamping. You take the DI signals and run them through different amps and cabs. I imagine you can do the same with the programmed MIDI drums.
I don’t know how long he’s been using this intro’s audio, but this is the first time I’ve taken notice at how much this mix SLAMS.
Whew, I'm not the only one.
No playthrough of the les paul custom?!
I know right? I was curious to hear the Nail Bombs in a Les Paul!
That PRS looks beyond stunning, flamed maple satin black is now my ideal finish, wow, just wow.
That PRS is a work of art
My Top 5 Favorite guitars:
LTD EC-1000, Washburn Idol WI50V, Gibson Les Paul Studio Faded Cherry, PRS Mark Holcomb Signature, and my Ibanez Ghostrider.
That PRS is special, all of them are great
will we get a guitar collection video??? cheers mate
My ultimate favorite guitar is a Gibson Les Paul Standard… but I couldn’t physically carry one because of the titanium implant on my left clavicle, so now I play a Gibson SG ‘61 Reissue because it’s crazy light. Thanks Fluff! I enjoy all of your videos, but this was especially interesting. Would love to see more of your favs!

Let's see your whole gutair collection!
Some of the most cool guitars I've ever seen as far as work horse guitars.
Very cool
Thanks for playing the riff to The Real You on me. Sparkle. Been a year and I only now picked up on it lol😂
Why did you not give a play demo of the Gibson? I wanted to hear those bare knuckles!
Gotta love the Gibson rd. Still see them rarely surprised they never caught on
*introduces guitar #3
"Favorite guitar number 5!"
I was very confused for a few seconds
Told you my favorites in the comments but really cool video man I wish you would do more of these you're pretty interesting taste and some I completely agree with pretty wide range in guitars too. The only guitars I ever really buy or Les Paul customs or explorer shapes like Ibanez destroyers
I’m here for the guitars but stayed for the Everytime I die shirt
Cool picks! Definetively that PRS would my all time favourite
I love that Paul Reed Smith too.
The RD reminds me of my vintage Charvel. Dustin Kensrue from Thrice played an RD for a bit during the Artist in the Ambulance cycle.
I had 2 guitars, for like 2-3 weeks and it was awesome! Music Man Majesty and a LP Modern, true love! Couldn't keep both guitars tho and I had the Majesty for few years.

Do you still have your old Balaguer guitars? Do you still have at least one guitar with your old Beard Comber pickups?
That black PRS is just insaaane
got my first EBMM a few days ago, now nothing compares lol
That Gibson RD sounds SICK !
Top 5 of your collection for me are as follows
1. Mr. Sparkle
2. The buckeye burl Valentine
3. Axis baritone
4. PRS tremonti
5. The stingray RS you recently got that resembles a tom delong strat.
I do miss the white McCarty you had with the invader in the bridge. That was such a gnarly sounding guitar.
RD by far sounded the best. I don't know why but Gibsons always sound so good to my ears.
I have a Fender Mod Shop satin black Strat; every company should offer it as a finish for us weird people that love it
We need a Guitar Collection video
You really love those superstrats!
I have four favorite guitars. I also have four guitars.

Spot on
This sick and all but.. when are we gonna get a demo of the 5150 iconic?
Surprisingly, wise choices 👌.
Any possible chance we can get a 2021 studio/gear update?! I would love to see your current collection.
That prs is so beautiful damn I would give anything to have that bad boy
Fluff you have got to do more of theese vids
Wow, your recent Tremonti was not in your Top 5. That was surprising. Not vibing with it like you were? Maybe when you get the PRS MT100 Amp it will be a perfect match. Hint Hint

Killin it my dude
My five favorite guitars are the 5 guitars that I own
HELL YES! Sick shirt!
Cool video, nice ETiD shirt.
I remember when you got the RD! 🤘😎🤘
hows your band name spelled??? your sound DDAAMMNN CRUSHING
Man, it would so awesome if Ernie Ball did another run of the Axis baritones. I know I would get one for sure!!
All the sicc. I love it. Elegant and to the point.
I’m not a Gibson guy… but I do have a soft spot for the RD. They’re just so interesting lookin’! 😆
Awesome guitars
2:28 vintage Fluff tones. Love it! Brings me back to when your channel was new-ish and the gear and recording world was still big and mysterious. Exciting times
I want EBMM to make a run of those semi gloss black baritones so bad
9:08
I'm assuming the 2nd one you're talking about was the one for Aaron Fink of Breaking Benjamin.
I would love too try one of those musicmans.
Aaron Fink formerly of Breaking Benjamin had a white Axis Baritone built for him in 2010. The Reverb listing for it can found.
I'd sell a kidney for an Axis Baritone.
you'll need to sell at least 3 kidneys for it I'm afraid :P
Why didn’t you demo that Les Paul Custom? A shame.
Great video!
I love the RD. The closest I've got is the Epiphone Lee Malia version. Not the same but still cool. Unfortunatley, the RD's fully functioning and unmodded are very expensive now.
I am pretty sure my PRS Custom 22 (Left handed) came from that same batch at The Guitar Store.
Opened this video already knowing what #1 would be.
those r+d guitars do look cool. i always thought the headstock was a mis match to the body. recently i saw one with a victory style headstock that looked real cool. wish i had the cash.
When is the new album going to come out?
I like the Musicmans!

did i miss the video with that sun amp in the back?
Seems like you could use just one guitar for the same chug sounds was all I heard.
6:48 Wait...number 5? Did I miss 3 and 4? Hahaha
I have two favorites. First is my PRS Custom 24 , then Gibson Les Paul Classic thin body.
I wish I had heard the sound of Les Paul !

Now do top five amps.

I smell another weekly series…
Les Paul Custom hngggghhhhh "I don't need it I don't need it"
Why didn't you play the Les paul ?

I think there my favorites that you own too Ryan !! lol :)

Just by looking at those earbuds, I already lost one of them....
Yo when the thumbnail popped up the guitar neck looked like you grew long hair..it was hot

Nice Monty Python reference.
Thease are some real beauts
