A PRS!!, it is my bucket list guitar. I have yet to play one but Paul seems like a down to earth guy, more reason to buy from someone like that. gonna be a minute my son graduates this year and my daughter isn't far behind. Guitars will still be there got to do for my family
Bubba I'll tell ya something.... my wife passed away in September of 2018, 9 days after being diagnosed with cancer.... someone suggested learning guitar as a form of therapy and it did help.... watching some of your funny videos was the first time I laughed after she passed... I appreciate that you read the messages, good and bad, and want to be a better creator.... I could care less what others say, I've lived through something they couldn't imagine in their worst nightmares.... so people can troll me if they want, but I just wanted to say thank you

At the age of 4, my dad told me I would have a hard life and even though we were very poor and almost homeless he bough me an acustic guitar. I played that thing everyday of my life until the neck finally cracked when I was in college.
As an engineer I atrribute my creativity to the many years of making rifts on that guitar. Now that I have money I just bought my first guitar in 10 years, a Martin 000-15M.
Now I want a D-18. Slippery slope!

I cant afford a guitar rn, but i dont think you are showing off. Its very admirable to see other people having what i wish i had because it inspires me to try harder so one day i can have that. I love these kinds of videos, you make them for everyone else not yourself
I would get a £77 Harley Benton Telecaster and start learning now.
may I suggest starting with a Squire Stratocaster? Squires a pretty cheap ($100-$200 range at the lowest) so its pretty good for you to test out and see if you stick with it or not

bro its straight up showing off lmao. the dude made a fortune from cringe videos without even being that good. its like someone who pirates software instruments / libraries you know they have like 50 kontakt instruments but lack a real understand or connection with the stuff they can afford. Obviously he can play some licks whatever few chords but it goes deeper than that. when you really watch someone great play vs some rich youtuber. watch SRV you just know the dude has been through some stuff you know it comes out in his playing his music then you have hacks like John Mayer try to pull off the same shit... doesn't work but enough people buy into it i guess... sad
My guitar collection:
-No brand red stratocaster fender rip off found in charity shop for £30 including the amp
-Harmony sovereign h6561 found in a pawn shop by my dad in the 90s which since had a hole booted into the side with a questionable repair job, not to mention the other day the truss rod with the started to come out of neck with the allen key.
Still love it dearly though.

I really enjoy coming back to this video once a month since you first posted it. Not as a “oh I gotta have one of those” thing, but the smile that comes from watching an incredible player and instructor showing the tools and fruits of his work.
Thank you so much for these videos Tyler. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it from getting physically, emotionally and verbally abused at school and even going through crap at home. You're videos have always brightened up my day and in some cases saved me from suicidal times.

Don’t ever change man, I recently started to play guitar about 3 months ago, bought an all black epiphone les Paul and now have a Taylor’s 314ce and always look up to your videos and ever since been learning with your program.
It is a dream studio for any musician , lots of beautiful guitars, and you play them so well, always a joy to watch you Tyler, always intertesting and always fun, a great guy, and a superb guitarist, one of my all time favourites on the Tube.
My collection: a beat up squier strat that I've had for 8+ years that I wouldn't sell for any amount of gold. It's seen me learn to master the art of music, and that's worth more than anything :)

I'd think that with three (I have two electric ones), it should be more difficult for creation than it should be for jamming! Especially if those three are significantly different.

I have 4 and it's not hard at all to choose, considering that 1 of them is acoustic and the other 3 are all tuned differently. You should try that, one of the reasons to have many guitars is so you don't have to re-tune a guitar everytime you want to play songs in a different tuning
@@tcg1_qc Yeah starting to do that. I play a lot of half step down but now have a one tuned in open G, another in open D for slide stuff.

I have ONE Strat I bought new in 1984. The fretboard is worn, the body has tons of scratches and dings, it's dirty and stained from my sweat and blood, and it's the best f*ckin guitar in the world. ... 😎

I've always enjoyed this channel. It's humorous and informative. I've personally gotten a lot out of the "habits of" series. You've worked very hard to put your channel among the most watched youtube guitar series. Don't ever let anyone give you grief for having a ton of nice gear. You didn't steal it from anybody. You have a blessed life, and that's to be applauded and appreciated, not resented. Keith over at 5w World just dropped a video about slimming down his amp collection. It might be cool if you did a "desert island 3" video or something like that. If, God forbid, the house was on fire, which 3 guitars are you saving? Which amp?

I really loved your intro, I think your sincerity came off in waves. As someone who watched you for a long time (originally in a begrudging fashion growing into a legit appreciation) I think that the content you are making has grown with your audience, and we with you. I also do miss the little skits with your wife you did that got you started and think it would be cool to see that kind of thing again. You've never lost that vibe at all. Given we are about the same age, I'm glad to see that you also are finding accountability to be the wonderfully freeing thing that true adults have at their disposal. I have a handful of favourite artists/musicians and a favourite band. However, when watching Tyler play guitar, I see the hard work that he has put into his career/hobby and I see no other musician in the way I see Tyler. It's hard to explain in words but seeing him play guitar is like seeing what you can become with hard work which not enough of us do. Hes an inspiration and a great guy. I'm sure we can all agree we will love you till the end and beyond!! Thank you Tyler.

Since finding your channel you have inspired this 38 year old guy to take lessons, buy gear, and become almost obsessed with playing. While I’m not very musically inclined plying wise I am trying really hard. Your collection is amazing now if I can play 10 percent as good as you…I’ll be ok

@@TeensierPython Hi, still going strong still going to lessons bi monthly. I’ve come such a long way in 2.5 years. Just keep practicing. What worked best for me is listening to the actual song and play along with it. I found timing and trying to time chord changes to be my biggest hurdle. It still takes me hours and hours to learn new songs. Don’t get frustrated and play what you like because if start playing songs you don’t like, forget it you’ll lose interest. I went through that with my teacher who was making me play jazz and I just said nope not interested. Give me blue and rock and I’m good.

Hey i love the content. im trash on a guitar but i still have a go. been trying to get message in a bottle lick to sound right for ages but i have progressed i can play a few blockparty licks an a little maiden. i used your tips about trying a guitar or two at the store and checking things like comfort and feeling like a vibe. i went with idea of getting a strat style hss and ended up choosing a squire classic vibe jaguar. And now i love the sounds i can get from it. so your advice helped alot keep up the good work

For me, this is one of my favorite channels, regardless of whether PRS or Donner is featured. The videos are consistently outstanding!
I don’t understand the comments he showed. I’ve always loved this channel and never thought Tyler was doing anything less than bringing us joy with his guitars.
Jealousy and envy are pretty gross emotions.
He even said that he agreed with those comments and recognizes he's becoming a snob. I respect that, but then in the same video he literally shows off as much as he can brining up his relationships with multiple celebrities and his free guitars that they send him.
