My dad built those shacks and this was our family get away for decades. We all LOVED going out to The Shack, and it was epic watching your video there!
@firetofork and @wildtouring. Gents, what a fantastic collaboration. Give us more, you work well together - my two most favourite channels - Well Done!
Just finished watching the series on this miserable weekend on the east coast Awesome collab guys really enjoyed it and that private beach property doesn’t get much better 👍
You 2 are just too good together, the kinda location we dream of and would be loving every second there!!! I'd love to see that beach in person, if it wasnt private i would have maybe almost been there like most of the local beaches down that way, Harry you're one lucky bloke, theres a few beaches you we can snag to ourselves but this one is next level!! Gotta love our back yard in the great southern 👌🏼😎
Great collaboration with you and Harry and WOW what an awesome spot, that is my dream property. I reckon you, Pete and Harry would make a great collaboration. 🍻
Another great boy’s only camp out .no doubt after all the horsing around and great food and special drinks you both sleep very well . Thanks again for the adventure .
Great Ep Cam & so good to see u and Harry in an Ep. Bloody awesome spot. U could do a book on cocktails Cam, lookn forward to seeing the other Ep’s, cheers 🍻
I was there about 3 years ago there was a decent size python in the roof of one of the shacks that scared the s”;t out of us. My partners dad built the shacks and she and her siblings scattered his ashes out to sea there. He loved to tell stories about the fishing trips he did as a young fella down there
You'd be hard pressed to find a better spot than that, wow! In a way it's good that it is in private hands because too many people going there would ruin it. A quick note for Harry regarding Fred. Be wary of getting fred to run that hard as he gets older as the cruciate ligament can rupture. We had that happen with our lovely Lucy who was a dober cross and it took a long time to get her right again. Heavy dogs seems to suffer more from this.
I have a friend with family that has owned property for 4 generations. About 150 yrs. It's a paddock for cattle watering and grazing and they own the water rights of three miles of large creek that has a fish hatchery at the top. Totally private and incredible! Looks like you guys had fun. Cheers, Cam!🎉
I went there as a 16 yo on a fishing trip with some older blokes who knew the owner. He let us go through the farm and along a bush track to a cool beach further east. There was an old shack and a reef just off the beach with a channel between. Great spot. My dad had a photo from around the 1940's of a huge blue groper hauled up on the homestead verandah. Must have been well over a metre in length. The entire area coastline is awesome. There is a good surf break close by as well which the local crew kept a secret. Access got cut off apparently when some idiots spooked some cattle off a cliff. I sailed in close on a south coast sailing trip to have a look back in the 90's. It still looked pristine with nobody in sight. I would love to go back sometime but might be dreaming.
Fantastic episode, I can see either you or Harry getting hold of this property if it becomes available. Loving the trip video n what an awesome catch off the beach
You guys combine really well, hope you keep this up. Sorry but I like the consumption of fine drinks to accompany the trip, also like that you both enjoy quality products which I love, good work.
Funny enough I bought a bottle of Kraken the other nite and its delicious !! And BTW, if that spot is heaven, well I'm ready to go.. Grouse video boys..
Where is this. That place is heaven man. Im missing out on amazing things out there, like this. The drone shots were perfect. The dog is just in love. I imagine somewhere in Australia?
The river is not private property nor are the banks up to the flood line. Anyone that can boat, kayak, swim, walk down the river can be there. The only exceptions are naval bases/shipyards and ports.
Loved it, what a brilliant property to have access to! If only it were a hip camp :) Great salmon on the light gear too mate. I have also caught salmon like that down south coast and have been told that there are certain places that act as "Hospital Reefs", where salmon injured by sharks and dolphins during the migration hold up and recover before joining the migration the next year. These reefs and nearby beaches hold salmon all year round.
Seems like the ultimate destination to me. A quiet beach with good company is about as good as it gets I reckon. How lucky are you? Please let us know if the family ever moves the property onto Hipcamp. It'd be worth every cent to set up in there for a few days.
Those two beaches, if they're the ones I think they are clouded in mystery to Albany, locals everything from bikies to terriost to the resort and people saying they been shot at years ago the one closer to Albany used to be accessible through the private property as long as you closed the gates behind u my dad used to tell me it was one of the softest beaches to drive on in the area
any suggestions to the land owners (shotgun or not) of paid camping and ofc leave it as you found it policy, would be awesome. would be there in a heartbeat. love it lads.
I valued this property in Warriup Road a few years ago, it’s quite unique. Prior to the current owners it was owned by some very dodgy characters who were armed to the teeth.

That’s awesome!!

That private beach is 11/10. Sort of spot we'd never get to see if you didn't take us along, cheers. What a dream property.

I think that might of been a juvenile blue groper, they are green when young

Black Russian part vodka part kahlua, Cam.

if it is owned only to 50 metres from the water edge then what is stopping boats from landing there
Nothing.
Yea nothing is stopping them if they can get there
@@jerrybow8779 harry states they have a shotgun to stop people
@@MegaHilly13 that’s if you tresspass on their land, this is oz not Mexico, you can’t just go shooting at people for being on the beach
@@MegaHilly13 Crown land, not private property ..
Another episode of Beavis and Buttcrack.
