A few genuine characters enjoying camping, fishing and cooking. You’re both full of compliments and respect each others channels. Looks like great fun! Awesome production. I’m looking forward to seeing the induction cooker video.
I admire your relentless pursuit of seafood, it always pays off when you have that never give up attitude Those meals look so simple and tasty Great collaboration Petes a funny man
You can get an adaptor for the reveal to use the transducer from the hds live. It has a narrower beam so you can see changes in the bottom including lumps much better
Hey mate, I spent 100s of bucks on lures. Wasted 3 days doing Lures while the rest of the boat was catching. Paddle tail lures are the only one that works. Just your standard bait from the shop, frozen. I found if they're floppy n warm, fish at south Greg's don't bite. Once you catch some Yellow strips (sized of course) use that for bait. The fish up there F'ing love it. Drift over your bombies, and have a line trawling, spanish mackerel, long tom's, GTs will hit it. Don't use long tom's for bait. Nothing touches it
Haha just done your catch and cook recipe with Australian salmon we caught this morning for my wife and folks. They made me make up a second round we all loved it thank you
If you want to get bluebone, get to the Dampier loadout jetty before the security guys tell ya to piss off hahaha some big fish there and bluebone taste excellent.
Great vid Cam, you and Pete make for some funny and enjoyable viewing. I hope you kept the wings of the Spanish Flag for bait, they are awesome Coral Trout bait.
@@darknstormyimages yeah I do for these style of videos. I’ve played with a mirrorless on a gimbal and the quality is undoubtedly better. But for how I shoot trip videos a GoPro is just easier, quicker and more natural. I can capture things quickly as they happen rather than setting up shots. I’ll often use mirrorless on a gimbal or tripod if I’m filming indoors in low natural light situations though- in the house, workshop, shed ect.
Nice episode, there is 2 species up there with 2 different minimum sizes bluespotted at 280mm and bluelined at 320mm they look like the bluespotted you are catching. Bluelined grow much bigger
Soft plastics are like cold brew coffee, not needed in this world. Baits for fish, proper coffee machine for coffee. Tip. Bluebone bait, sandpaper, dry rag and superglue. Catch rock crab, sand and wipe top of shell and super glue hook to shell if LIVE crab.
If we ever cross paths I’d love to make you a brew! Because that’s exactly what we initially thought of cold brew after trying them at a few coffee shops and servos- rubbish! Done properly, it’s so good. Even now it’s getting into winter Tiff and I are heating up cold brew rather than making espresso coffee at home. Superglue in the tackle box is a cracking idea, I’ll give that a whirl one day!
I don't believe it but you guys finally caught fish 🐟 awesome but to eat it raw are you part Japanese you're having a great time aren't you glad to see cheers legends ☺️
Haha we did 😂 Honestly most evening were just a couple of quiet beers, upload some footage from the cameras to the laptop, and then early nights. We were shattered after big days in the elements. Never slept so good!!!
We've been disappointed with some plastic screw in Sand Tent Pegs we've bought from a reputable supplier. Can you suggest sand pegs with the hex screw ins that really work well ? Especially in the weather you've had in this video. All The Best Cam.
I havnt found decent hex head sand pegs myself yet either. I was really impressed with the Rhino Rack screw in pegs Pete had. But these require a fair bit of effort to put in!
What a magic spot for a romantic dinner date🤣🤣. Hopefully the "cocktails " didn't get you into too much trouble 😉😉😉. Great episode Cam. Between yours and Petes episodes, this is one of the best series you both have made, and there's still more to come... Loving the humour and honesty... Cheers Mark...
Not sure if I'm correct but don't size limits apply even if you're using what you catch for bait? I've heard of some pretty nasty outcomes for undersized catches so thought I would mention it just in case. If I'm wrong then my apologies in advance and thanks for another great video.
Cheers mate! Nah you’re bang on, size and bag limits apply regardless of what you’re using the fish for. No minimum size limit on yellowfin sandwhiting in this region though.
@@WildTouring No worries mate, thanks for the correction. Size limits apply to both here and I was in a fishing store not long back just after an inspector had caught a guy here with quite a few undersized fish. Lost his gear, fish, big fine and his job due to a criminal conviction........... I was going to delete my comment but I might leave it up in case it helps others. Cheers.
@@WildTouring thats really heavy for the shore mate. If you got a fish on that it would be a fluke. 80lb is 60m+ offshore. I go max 30lb on the beach, even with reef. Depending on what your targeting. Unless Im lookin for Mulloway, its 12lb fluro or less. 10lb is good for whiting bream herring or any pan fish you are targeting I spose 40lb mono would be max if I used it for bigger fish.

Didn’t even consider keeping the wings of the smaller fish! I will have to next time, appreciate the tip!
I'm not at all a fisherman it doesn't excite me at all but I will happily sit here and watch you to boys!! highly entertaining video Cam thank you!

Haha we did 😂
Honestly most evening were just a couple of quiet beers, upload some footage from the cameras to the laptop, and then early nights. We were shattered after big days in the elements. Never slept so good!!!
And thats how it’s done. I reckon even Buck and I could catch a fish in WA. Can’t catch anything here.
Haha I’ve got no doubt Tim!!
Get over here and have a crack!
I’m definitely gonna get Buck out for a fish when he gets over here on his lap.

Fresh air, and fishing sure takes it out of you...
Can you share your cocktail recipe please
Lmao boys. So entertaining 😂😂😂😂😂😂hope mr buckaroonie watches this video on repeat & sees real fisherman in action
😂 poor bugger, we’re taking him out and getting him onto a fish when he gets around here!
👍👍👍👍
Loving the shark bay fishing trip guys. What is the folding solar? Recommend it?
The Allspark solar panel is brilliant, I’m doing a vid in the next few weeks that’ll chat a lot about my solar setup for these kind of camps. 👍🏼
