I can't really think of anything else besides the Manhattan Project (1940's) where so many of the best of their field came together to work on something. Marthyn has put together something really special here.

Awesome. The bass drum sounds similar in the Upon the desolate sand album

You're very spot on about limitations for practicing aggressive drumming, over practicing may help at times, but when I hear about drummers getting injured on tour, don't even bother to stretch or do some cardio before playing a set list,it's even worse right after playing a set list when I'm already over limiting,I'm glad I take alot of breaks from practicing my drumset, balance is key to maintain yourself not only as a drummer physically, mentally it's important to control your own time.

Hey Hannes 👋 wow mate you are very good exlent along with a few of these other guys. And your band Blotted Science gave me this feel and it's the earth's frequency in time with the resonate of the earth this is the revolving that I'm on about any one can get and be in Time with each other all over the world.
Cause you opened my head up as I'm can feel the position fo the main timing signature and the tempo is God knows exactly but I have a machine that can work that out . I put it in by taping in real time and I'll get it to sync in time as I adjust the tempo on the machine. So when your one falls I'll tap the start and I'll keep doing this process until it stays on the click of what your doing so in real time it'll say how many BPM that your playing once I've done that then I'm going to try something with a few selected bands that we all know and orchestra as well I'm going to find out if it all matches I'd love it to be exaterly right half beat to a beat before or after if you know where I'm going with this .
Cause if it dose guess what this is the revolving stage I'm on about.
    I can feel it cause we're drummer's rather we're musistions .
Now where I'm heading with this, is the Assemble "Helilung " . the band "The HU" where I'm going here is the timing of songs BPM you know what I'm saying this is the connection with the earth. Now just recently I've being able to play along with you in spot on timing to by the way and I do it in that way we count with quarter note and I suddenly find it really a lot easy rather than count on beats . I'm always on the beat when I listen to music cause I'm ear player . I can read manuscripts very slowly and I mean real slow corse is hard to read fluently and I don't play like that but it sure helps as far as, what beats rests ect that we are going to play with any piece that we're going to be playing .
All musicians can get on board this idea as it's going to bring a lot of people's together and we all don't have to travel to the magic Maser ✨️ cause it's heading into this ritual that I'd like to partisapate in and with the Assemble that gave me a semireligouse experianc I had jamming along with Helilung and watching the clips as well as all the live stuff that they've done. Total fucken amazing expireance that it gave me and a reminder to why I play the drums.
She said something like concert for the spirits out in that echo canyon playing atop of the truly magical part of the world as the natural granite and there's gotta be an era if given permissions from the spirit world via Sharmons I'd say or the aceint Indian tribesman or someone like this to ask them before even organising such a difficult task I supose.
Like we'd need medical, staff chefs cooking soundmen with hundreds and thousands of watts of amplification protection from the elements sun rain where are we going to store all of our drums and equipment of all the band and drummer's that may arrive if they want 😀 so there no pressures between anyone I'm happy to bring my kit whole bang shish caboodle I want nothing for this I'm hoping to make the world a better place we all will be .
This frequency is that of the world and I'm sure that's what we're tapped into and why I have that sweet spot in my playing . Just an idea .
Carl the crusher inspired the Idea to me along with the boys from skinwalker ranch can anyone see what I'm wanting todo . Cause music is Latin and there more to it than just pleasure I'm sure .
If we can use our country's state parks and national park for the venues we could make this easier for all of us without having to leave our counties . Just an idea harrns you got me going so I salute you brother keep rocking brother .love you bro brilliant player 👏

Going by the viewer's description of his problem, I would say he is at a point where he is trying to use strength to get past lack of technique. Once you have learnt pedal control long double bass runs shouldn't be a problem. Rather than continually chasing metronome numbers, try watching more foot technique videos and getting a couple of techniques down solidly. Once you learn a new technique well, you can quickly go much faster and longer.
Other questions: Is your stool too low? Try playing higher up for a while until you are comfortable with it.
Are you using a spring tension that is either too high or too low? Try turning the tension up and down and see the difference.
Do you understand what an upstroke is, and how to use it on a pedal, or are you just pushing out downstrokes?
Lastly, don't just get advice from extreme metal drummers, listen to jazz drummers, hip-hop drummers, whatever (don't be snooty!). And try to move your toes before you move your ankle, before you move your knee, before you move your leg.

Hello, I am a novice drummer. Physical hobbies have benefits with a recovery routine such as a regular mobility/stretching and muscle massage routine ?? Any experience using recovery routines in drums? Im curious to hear your thoughts. Thanks

Sup dude, drummer for 21 years. Yes good hand wrist shoulder ankle and hip mobility is fantastic in and out of the drum room.
Don’t over stretch but get in-get out.
Look up mobility for hip and ankle from MindPump and their shoulder stuff too. Absolutely amazing and feels great on the body.
