#echelon #springfield #concealedcarry #tactical best carry gun, best springfield 2023, echelon review, springfield armory echelon review, best concealed carry gun
I purchased this pistol 3 weeks ago and finally got to take it to the range this past Sunday . I got the threaded barrel with 3 dot tritium sights . I run sig v crown, federal tsj 150 and some others I didn't clean it before I wanted to shoot it right out the box . Had no issues it ate everything I put in it. The optic system I really like. But no issues at all was a fun day.
I find the echelon and PDP triggers easier to handle with shorter resets than the Glock stock trigger. The stock staccato trigger has The shortest travel and reset on the guns I shoot, and I’m most accurate with my Staccato
What's a staccato cost?
@@Skinnymoose mine $2450 C2
If this pistol becomes somewhat popular MCARBO will probably make a trigger tune kit like they do with most popular pistols & then the trigger will be greatly improved.
This trigger is just fine…after the PDP and Cz…this one is next…with everything else on gun better then the Walther and Cz…you guys stop looking for stuff to complain about..SHEESH!
I paid $559 for mine. A Glock 45 MOS is selling for $620 with plastic sights…just saying
I find my Echelon trigger is a lot better than my Glocks.
Many if not most popular polymer guns have better triggers. PDP, S&W, CZ, Canik, HK and all the Glock clones too lol
What’s your point? Every car made after the first car are it’s clone…means nothing. Glock is an HK clone if we’re keeping it real. HK was the first polymer pistol..it wasn’t successful but they still were the first polymer pistol and Glock clone the polymer idea from HK
Love the pistol
I can see Springfield Armory selling the optic cut system to other companies so the pistol optics cuts are universal, well... I think it'd be awesome if they did.
Im interested in the 19 size version!!
Pac would just carry a 19
Uncle mikes works great for full size guns
Thanks for the review. I am a fan of Springfield products, but I’m tired of manufacturers announcing new designs as if they are groundbreaking when they are at best slight improvements on products that have been around a long time in the form of Glock, S&W, etc. That’s the nature of marketing, but IMO the reality is that basic handgun technology has been fairly static for at least the last 40 years.
Excellent comment. I own a Springfield XD-40 Service 4 inch that I bought new in 2002. For 21 years I have owned this incredible pistol, and just installed new Trijicon HD Night/Fiber Sights on it. I was thinking of "upgrading" to the Echelon, as like you I love Springfield products. Now I have talked myself out of it, and comments like yours help. I don't need the red dot or the modular BS. The Echelon is the same basic technology as my XD, they do the exact same thing, with little difference. The increased benefits are not worth it. This is not new computer technology, that has been upgraded greatly in last 20 years. There is nothing new about the Echelon, as new gun technology has remained static for 40 years.
Beretta APX A1 FS has all the same features and it's $399 with a $100 rebate right now. + its made by a company you can be proud of.
Great point but beretta dropped the ball by not having any after market support. Late to the game with optic support too. But the gun itself is sooo underrated.
Will the Echelon.. best the Walther PDP or CZ P-10 series? Im not sure ..
In my opinion the Echelon blows Glock 17 out of the water. And it does have a much better trigger than a Sig P320 and the Glock 17
I like glock triggers. If it’s the same it’s a hr for what it is intended to be.
That gun looks busy. It just has too much going on. And I'm not hating on the gun. I do carry the Springfield Hellcat in the summer
It does seem like they are trying really hard to do everything all at once.
@@rob6850 Why wouldn't they? lol
It is an excellent pistol.
@@rob6850 Doing everything is best.
Looks are a matter of preference. I think it’s a sexy looking firearm and all the busy actually add to its functionality. That’s the point of the pistol. It combines all the attributes shooters want.
How do we locate the grip zone? If (when) they release a compact grip frame variant I might be interested to (hold my nose and) get one for winter carry. Not a fan of SA and the misdeeds of the owner.
Get over it…this gun is excellent!
Everything seems to be a copy of Glock, Springfield should stick to 1911s....
Much better than Glocks
Everything is Not a copy of Glock. Lots in improvements of a GLOCK. I have more GLOCK's than any other pistols but the Echelon is a big improvement.
Never understood the point of this comment…Glock is actually a clone of HK who made the first polymer pistol…and even if they are clones, who cares…aren’t you glad you have choices and upgrades to the first anything that was ever made…that’s Glock guys way of massaging their hurt egos from Glock’s continuous market share decline lol
Go away
Sorry I will, make sure to take your vax and test yourself for stupidity! @@PkwyDrive13
