Very nice review. Waiting for the cr920xp. 😊
Picked one up two days ago and put 250 rds through it.
Love it
You go foundation or elite? I'm trying to decide if the elite is worth the extra $200..
@@juanrojas6805 I went with the Elite. Buy once cry once.
@@juanrojas6805 I don't think so. I like the slide serrations and aluminum trigger better, but (a) I upgrade triggers, and (b) I'd pay more NOT to have a hole in the slide. :)
I'll definitely be making a purchase..Great video brother
My next buy.
It's a very nice pistol. I know I'll be looking into saling my MR920L and purchasing their new XR920P
Did I miss the shooting part of this review??
That's a good looking pistol.
I just got the cr920x and right now the jury is out if I like it or not. Will say it's a very snappy little gun, not terrible, but not great imo. I hope down the road we will get the cr920xp version as I do think it will benefit having a comp. I need to shoot it a few more times to see if it's a keeper or trade-in.
Hard to tell from the video, are they exactly the same grip length? Does the 15 round mags fit in the 43x?
I don't think they do they are proprietary magazines.
They don’t fit! FAIL
I am curious if they will make a cr920xp
Coming soon!
Been on CLASSIC FIREARMS WEBSITE they are SOLD out
Can you do a direct overlay of the two side by side with mags in them so we can see the height difference in the grip lengths?
Did you have a lot of failure to feed’s? I have this same model. I know SS has a 200 round break in period. I put just shy of 300 rounds (124 blazer) and had several failure to feeds. It also gave me a nice lil sore spot on the bottom of my trigger finger. I ordered a new trigger shoe from Johnny Glock. Hoping that fixes it cause I’m really excited about this gun!
Did your gun break-in and stop having failures after 250-300 rounds?
@@joeflowers9084 for the most part yes. When I shoot 115g I will get a couple here and there. When I put 124g or higher I don’t get any issues. So makes me think my grip may have not been tight enough on the 115g when I had a those FTF.
I own both the CR920 and a Glock 48mos.
I spent the extra money to use the Shield Arms magazines on the 48.
I may try to make my own CR920X by switching frames. 😅😅😅😅😅😮
Nice review. I've been looking forward to the release of this gun. Do you know if the grip, aside from the stippling, is the same as the Glock 43X's? It's hard to tell, but it looks like it has a better trigger guard undercut. It also appears to be more contoured, but I wonder if that might be an optical illusion created by the Shadow System's stippling.
Update: I bought the CR920X Elite two weeks ago for $800, and man am I disappointed! The trigger sucks balls, and the gun is snappy AF! I've put in about 400 rounds so far and it's definitely not a fun shooting experience. The Sig P365X and P365X Macro are far better out of the box in my opinion. And cheaper, too!
@@Philmoscowitzdo the 15 round mags work in the Glock 43x?
@@RAS3800 Don't know. Sorry.
Did you have any break-in issues?
It seems like most don't, but a lot do. I've had break-in failures with a CR920 and a CR920P. I don't mind a few failures in the first 100rds, but think it should settle down and be 100% after that...if it takes 250-300rds, then I begin to worry about trusting it, since it may be running on the ragged edge.
Never shot a shadow systems, and I understand upgrading oem glock sights parts out the box, but struggle appreciating shadow systems place in pistoldom, anyways this one is interesting nice review
Do the new cr920x mags work in the 43x?
Don't think so, but they do work in the regular cr920.
I want to like all these SS ‘s. I am not sold on them yet. I will stay with my trusty glocks !
Do the shadow mags fit/function in the 43x?
No
So how much is it?
$550-$650 depending on where you get it.
Big mistake in my opinion that this won’t work with factory and aftermarket Glock 43x magazines.
No thanks. I’ll get a Glock 19 it’s a lot cheaper.
Look at that plain jane glock…
Every video on here shows is unreliable and has catastrophic damage under 3,000 rounds
