If it's anything like my Springfield Hellcat, it'll loosen up and be easier to rotate over time. Fresh out the box, my Hellcat's takedown lever was stiff, but after a few disassemblies, it was much easier to rotate. Maybe the Echelon is like that.
I need help with my Springfield Echelon, I haven’t shot anything out of it yet I took it apart (slide barrel and spring assembly) I used CLP and i put it back together and now the slide doesn’t go into full battery when I press check this only happens when there’s one in the chamber, when I slide it all the way back and let it go it goes into full battery, I’m not sure what’s going on but it’s only when I have a mag in and there’s one in the chamber and when I’m press checking. Can I reach out to you so I can send you some pictures of it?
I like the gun "racegunnr" but let me ask you something. What sets it "apart" from the other 20 Jillion striker fired pistols out there??? It doesn't have a "match grade crowned barrel". So just curious why a guy should buy that over all the other offerings out there?????
I, personally prefer Sig over Springfield in the striker fired carry’s. Just my opinion. I did this disassembly vid for informational purposes. I talked about what I liked about it. It is comfortable and has a nice factory trigger. No different from Ford vs Chevy vs Dodge etc. just my take on it. I’m a gunsmith not a salesman. Just a vid for the curious. But I will purchase one for my own use to see how it shoots and holds up.
That has been proven false. The incident was the actions of a single individual. That was not sanctioned by, or action take by the company, but naturally, once the disinformation is started on the internet, it is readily repeated, but nobody seems to concern themselves with seeking the truth.
Can’t feature it flexing to the point of failure. Shouldn’t affect function with the slide on the chassis. No different from the Sig or any other polymer pew pew.

Make sure no mag is in and slide is back. Push down on the lever.
Out of box there hard. Few thousand rounds it will be butter

Take it to a local GS. Sounds like maybe the recoil spring/guide rod might be binding or installed incorrectly.
@@racegunnr I actually found the issue, I found some metal shavings stuffed into the corners where the round would sit when loaded into the chamber

Gun range down the street from me had one to rent but they had to pull it off the shelf cause the slide was loose. Any ideas why that would happen?
Without seeing it, no. Bent rails on cog, recoil spring hanging up. Hard to say without seeing it in person.

They do. Small. Medium. Large. Just swap out COG and slide.
