Kevin, you stole my line! Just retired after 40 years of doing Tool and Die along with CNC programming. I trained many apprentices throughout the years. I always told them that you learn something every day. Sometimes it's on how to do a job. Sometimes it's on how NOT to do a job. But you can always learn something. Either through yourself or by watching others. Even people who you may feel aren't as smart as yourself, (check your ego) because they may still do something in a better way.

Been a subscriber since your first colab with Cleetus/Garret, the entire "Mullet" build and even before that when you were helping him with tuning. It's been a pleasure watching you through the years. The level of attention to detail and just true craftsmanship are better than most, you're definitely among the best in your craft. Reminds me of, (Gal 6:4), and how you're always evaluating your own work and still willing to learn, as we all should be.
Like in Scripture, there is just so much to learn that were I given an hundred lifetimes I don't think I could ever plumb the depths and riches of His Word but that does not mean I will ever stop trying. His Word is one of the most beautiful love stories ever told, (is something I often read/hear said), and I wholeheartedly agree, yet it is even so much more than that, (Psa 18:30).
    Take care and God Bless...

I'm retired Navy and even as a Chief, I always told my new people that if they saw something they thought could be done better or different to speak up. Sometimes the new guy looking at things with fresh eyes can see something that the old eyes have overlooked. Old dogs can learn new tricks.

I have greatly enjoyed the Cutlass series, and anyone who calls you an idiot is jealous or misinformed. Keep it up, Kevin. I have learned a great deal by watching you. Even if I never put it into practice, it's nice to have answers to questions I have always had. Most of us of us will only build our dream car
in our heads. So it's nice to see it all coming together slowly, instead of a complete vehicle come together in a 30 min video. I appreciate what you are doing, and thank you for it.

I'm the anybody Kevin is talking about in his video. I'm a software dev; but built Squirrel in my 4-car garage using things I learnt from videos like this. Watch a lot of videos, look at what others are doing in vids and at the track, and do a lot of practice... a lot! You actually explained today why I did something that made sense in my head but didn't really understand why I was doing it, so yes; we do learn something every day 😁

Once again, absolutely love the video. Yes, your videos are extremely helpful because just like you said about the "CJ Jig", there's SO MUCH I've learned from you to integrate into my car for safety and if nothing else, cosmetic and trick reasons. I know my cage is getting your welded nut trick inside the tube to mount things like the parachute on Val's Camaro. The plugs with the threaded inserts are driving me nuts to figure out without a lathe. Lol Keep it up man, appreciate the time and consideration put into your content.

Yeah... I opened my first motorcycle shop before Google and UA-cam existed... We did have MSN Groups, but that had a lot of trolls who slowed things down a bunch. For the most part, I just had other shop owners showing me a trick or two, or talking me through something on the phone. None of us were in competition with each other, some of us were better at one aspect than the other so it all worked out well for everyone. Towards the end, it was cut throat business tactics where some shops were belittling other shops. Not one time did I try that. I always saw it as we're all in this together. It's always relaxing to watch your videos and listen to your theory on what ever is up for the day.
