Hey Kevin, my uncle had a blue 70 cutlass, lighter blue, real nice color, maybe do a fair bottom to top, light blue,up into dark blue, the higher, the darker the blue start the faid about half way up the door.just a thought
5:15 to 5:30 Look at those two monkeys sitting there watching Kevin do all the work. lol
A buddy of mine used to own a muffler shop, whenever he saw someone relaxing (riding the clock) he would chuck a length of pipe on the floor near them. Scare the sheepdip out of em! Not many people did a lot of slacking around there I can tell ya. lol
Brother, we love your content. The people that complain about ads really don't understand what all you put into this content. You are appreciated. This series especially for me. I'm looking to take my car to the next level from a simple 8.50 deal to a 25.x. This shows what it takes to do that.
Closer and closer every Sunday. Nice!
Great video Kevin, it has been so cool watching you build this cage one bar at a time! So much skill and patience go into this process. The Cutlass is going to be so nice!
If we as viewers enjoy your content, we should be pleased that you have sponsors that want to be part of your channel. It takes time and effort for you to video and edit these programs and as supporters, we should appreciate any who want to help with financial contributions.
100%
Seriously can't wait to hear this thing in person some day.
Getting in trouble now telling my wife I'll be spending some time on Sunday checking out the bars with Kevin from KSR. Life is hard....
I've been watching you from the start.
Also thanks for the inspiration to get my sick ass out of bed some days & back in my shed it makes dying so much easier when you feel like you can still do things it may take a lot longer but it's a great feeling.
Kevin, the nice thing about ratchet straps... They don't give you any crap like a person would. LOL and they won't need a bathroom break.
I really have been enjoying this Buick Build series. Great work, Kevin. 😊
I have faith, 2025 the Quick 78 Arrives 😉☮️
It’s Sunday Fun Day Kevin! I always look forward to the Cutlass updates Buddy. 🍻
Getting closer and closer! Can't wait to see you making passes, the day will come for us all!
Kevin and crew, y'all rock! I'll watch whatever you post. Peace
The best part of a otherwise boring Sunday is a ksr video have fun in wampum pa
Love the ending timelapse with Music, great idea!
Rear bars look great! It's funny how little rear structure is there for the body.
Been watching from the very beginning of the build can’t wait for the final outcome.
Thank you for the video. More bars more bars
i love the SUNDAY CUTLAS DAY videos!!!
Sunday fun day! Thanks KSR
Love watching the progress on Sunday's build. Always enjoy the videos of Lee racing just something about that v10 when he gets on it. The one thing I noticed is the actor you hired to play Eddie in the last 2 videos actually gets some work done!
Watched Lee today, great race. The guy is a stud! Great job team.
Bars and Cutlass 🤘🏻 I can hardly wait to see what KSR does next... Engine 🤞🏻
It's coming along well.
Looking forward to the road race video, but I really wanna see that go-kart action!
Love the Sunday Cutlass videos! To me sponsor spots are a good thing...if they help you that helps us in the whole content thing!! Great to see the progress that you are making, keep it up!! Saw part of the TA race today. Looked like a nice track. Thanks again for everything you do!!
Thank God for rachet straps!! 🙌
Thanks for the video! I look forward to seeing them
I do love my Raycons!

Nice work
I can't see any tension in the cage!❤👍. Regards, Stephen.
I absolutely love the road racing vids with Lee Saunders. They are probably the one thing I would look forward to the most if they happened more often. I wish Lee had a channel that he would upload the races he does that you can't be at.
Really lookin good Kevin and I really enjoy the build videos!
SUNDAY!!!!!!!! YES YES AND MOREEEEEE YESSSSSSSS! I LOVE THIS BULID
Getting closer
Hey Kevin great Cutlass update video. This Cutlass has come a long way since you started it!!! Can you do a short video one day on your shop tools and get a little more in depth. Maybe a multi video series. Like the tools you use to polish the tubes before welding etc.
The car is looking great dude
Looking amazing! Inspiring me on my projects!
I'm in for some road race content!
Cutlass Day! woot!
I like that Fast and Free shirt. Kevin i think that would make a great shirt for the Cutlass. And after I see the front it says KSR lol
Thanks for your videos and content! I’m starting a 79 Firebird.. your work on the roll cages and Soccor Mom are a great motivation!!! Keep it up please!
Yes, more Trans Am . Can't wait to see the Cutlass in action.
Thanks Kevin 👍 for your time doing the videos.
It's great to see you as a professional using ratchet straps and other techniques that I do as a hack in my home sheds for the past 32 years here in Australia 🇦🇺.
Keep up the great work champion.
If it works, it works!!
I see Eddie hard at work behind you at the start of the vid 🤣🤣
Hell, yeah, some Cutlass video. Let’s go
MAKING this gutlass into a whole new ride. I miss my 79 with a 455.

Sick week is coming up quick!
To be honest I'm just excited for you to have a car to take to the track and teach us about tuning and just generally making test and tune passes. It's getting exciting!
Great content thanks for sharing
Your cutlass is looking 🔥🔥🔥🔥
He's got the Raycon's in, let's talk about him.....😄
If you got a old wielding table they make great jigs & you don't need one more then 3 feet wide so you got room to get on the inside what your building !
thanks for making sure we got our sunday video!
`
Hello from New Jersey
Good stuff on Sunday morning to enjoy breakfast with....keep up the good work thanks 🔧🔧👍
Nice Buick!!!! JK JK JK 🤣😂🤣😂 Im a G Body guy as well... Had a 78 and 80 Regal. My 78 had a Buick 350 swap and my 80 had a 455 swap! Wish i still had them... Cant wait to see this Cutlass hit the streets!!!
This guy is busier than a 2 peckered Billy goat, and can be in 2 places at once. You da Man Kev. Thanks for another cool update.
Gotta be getting closer. Any vid now, heh heh!
Best luck at the track!
Kevin, I'm so curious to know how many miles of tube you've bent and welded during your career. Thanks for the amazing videos. You're truly a master of your craft!
I see a new KSR video I click!
Woohoo 🎉….. Cutlass sundays! ☕️
Thanks for another Sunday video. I watch all your weekly videos on Sunday now gets me threw the day... Keep up the great work
Love the progress, good luck at the race!
I love seeing all the progress on the ole Cutlass!
Kevin, Cutlass, and Coffee...not a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
Hey Kev, I look forward to all your content and I always look forward to your videos, too👍I also do not mind the sponsored videos at all! Hey, whatever it takes to keep the lights on, right? You don't wanna "Lose the Shop", after all, right?🤣🤣🤣
Hope ya’ll are having fun at Pitt Race
Chassis jig.
Dig abound some body shops for a frame machine as pulling cars is pretty much a thing of the past due to high strength steel not being able to be heated at all / pulled very far.
Look for an older Celette brand bench for a chassis jig. They look to be useful for car building as they are flat and have many bolt holes on the surface. Be sure to get the cross members too. These specific benches are mostly obsolete due to car specific fixtures needed to set up the car. Despite this, some think the benches are worth $ 15,000 rather than the $ 2 K I'd put on it.
Whomp 'em in Wampum! Win with KSR!!
Really like your Cutlass build videos. Gives me something to look forward to on Sunday morning. Thanks and keep them coming!!!
Sunday Cutlass day!
Speaking of road racing, are you going to follow the 24 hours of Le Mans this coming weekend ?
Hey Kevin! Happy Sunday. I love the TA content, I've loved Trans-Am since the advent of the class...I'd love it if you had more road course content! About bending bars...I can't believe that one of the software companies hasn't tied in with a hardware bender and made a tool that you can design your bars and then just stick a bar in and let it measure and do the bends...maybe you should try and jump in and get the deal done and make all that money! I love the Cutlass material!
Like the Bend Tech dragon?
On the last episode of CJRC building the Eagle for Cleetus, Dan explained why he was drilling holes where tubes would be welded together. Thanks to watching your Cutlass series, I already knew why!
PS: Don't apologize for sponsor spots. The time you spend making and editing these videos could be used to do stuff that would make you more money and we would lose out on the entertainment/education. It's not like our viewing devices don't have the capability to fast forward through the ads anyway.
Couple of double taps on the right side of the screen will breeze right through them!!
KSR Cutlass FTW
I have a pair of Raycons and they're actually really good. I don't mind ads for good products! I might get a bit annoyed if the sponsor was a business with serious ethical issues like betterhelp or established titles, but I'd still not get too pissy because that money keeps bringing me this great content.
Don’t apologize about the ratchet straps or clamps. Professionally I hate doing things that could be done with a motivated ratchet strap.
😎💯💯💯
Let’s gooo!
Good to see the old cutlass coming along slowly. What brand notcher do you use? sure you have mentioned it previously.
Hown mnay more Sundays till you have it at the track?
your making some great videos, love the content. just curious, what tubing notcher is that? and also wouldn't mind seeing a shop tour video and favorite tools video
If it were mine,I'd leave all of the flaws on the shell and whatever pieces you have left...then do your best work on the pieces that don't belong to it...I think that would look amazing
She got it in the trunk 😮🤔🤭
Morning good luck in wompum
Look at Eddie not working haha😂
5:31 what I noticed was happening here:
Eddy is not working in the background
Hey Kev, in the beginning after you cut out the scrap tubing you were using some sort of angle finder with pvc pipes on it, what is that tool? love the cutlas build series. You mentioned In last weeks vijayho about hoping others learn something etc.. tell ya I’ve been taking notes for when I start my own gbody build myself (Monte Carlo ss is the plan, maybe an aero coupe, still searching for the right donor car). Also those nuts you use for inserts (a cool idea I’m borrowing) are NAS nuts. National aerospace standard.
Woohoo. Race car shit!!
Kevin,
Love the video and the work getting done to the cutlass. One quick question. When you make the down bars and those lower rear frame rails- do you have a particular degree you like to make them? Or is it defined for you in the SFI book for certification reasons?
No specification for behind the shock mounting area in the 25.X specs. So it’s just what I feel looks right
When you work on your car I can see Frick and Frack crawling around in the background. Do you not allow them to touch your car or do they not believe in helping their fellow man in his time of need? 😁 The Cutlass is coming along.
WAMPUM!
I discovered that ratchet straps are my best friend when I was trying to change the O2 sensors. Dodge put everything in so stinking tight against the trans that you have to drop the rear of the trans and then pull it to one side just to get at the plug for the O2 sensor. Now I am teaching myself how t mig weld, and am thinking some day I'd like to do a custom stainless dual exhaust. Maybe that will help that dog of a V-6 with more power.
Then again, maybe I'll cut the truck up and turn it into a race truck? Anyone have a 06 Dakota quad cab race truck yet?
I seen lots your videos. For your roll bars and cages your referred back to a spiraled book with cage specs and roll bars. Did you make that or purchase it somewhere? Thanks!
Thank you 👍
