Wow Stella is a great interviewer - she shows a lot of respect, interest and empathy

She seems really authentic
She has a punchable voice. Maybe I'm damaged but it sounds like British privilidge.

I hate it when people say that she sounds childish or that she uses "like" too much so that makes her not smart or irritating. You don't have to focus on that, if you actually heard what she is saying and not judge her expressions you could see that she's actually intelligent. It's not wrong finding some things irritating, but don't downgrade her because of that.
I think its an anxiety thing, she has a certain nervousness about her that I totally identify with.
Why do people act so dramatic about opinions? They happen, they will always exist and you don't need to/can't actually correct them. Saying "she annoys me" isn't "downgrading her" whatever that means, they're just saying what they think, and you're making the assumption that what they think is based on the fact that they didn't listen. Imagine this...they did listen, and they still don't like her. The world will keep on turning.
Isn't she a neuroscience graduate? I don't think anyone who knows this will think she is lacking intelligence. Plus she is with Elon Musk, so she must be quite intelligent.

I used to be same kind of person. People started using it against me a lot when i get older. I hope she "survive" this honesty.

This is so beautiful, a conversation between two gorgeous, intelligent women who have mutual respect for one another and instead of being threatened by one another's talent and beauty are propelled forward and inspired by it, I loved the dichotomy between the angelic, manic naiveté of Grimes and the sophisticated, informed and in control stillness of Stella, it was as tho Stella almost took on a guardianship authority within their dynamic- I hope they collaborate again!
Agreed, it's interesting, they both instinctually gravitated to the mother/Stella and Grime/ daughter role between the two. As if the mutual love and respect between the two transcends into a deeper more personal relationship. They are both artists in their respective careers and it's very refreshing to see two women just enjoy each other perspectives at that very moment. They both have very different ideals and ways of life and they mesh so well!

Noise record as in like kill v maim?
Martyn Harvey my first thoughts were bands like sonic youth and like the butthole surfers. Kill V. Maim is too poppy/upbeat to be noise. Noise is like, a bunch of dissonance and sort of out of tune instrumentation. Sonic Youth is a perfect example of noise rock if you're trying to get the vibe of what noise is.

I absolutely adore Stella due a small part to the fact my mum is Scouse and her and my aunt were friends with some of the Beatles.
