You'd have to ask Thrall where he got that nugget@@NostraDavid2! We think it checks out as the overhead costs of making a game vs designing a mount are astronomical... but he's definitely got contacts within the company, so yeah, ask the Green One when you see him!
Just wanted to say that the idea behind your channel is so good! Using AI especially is still pretty new as a form of content on youtube, you may be interested to see "Nobody & The Computer" as they have a similar sub count and a similar approach (though theirs probably incorporated AI in more steps of the creation process). I also dig the channel name; knowing that you probably have to do some scripting for the content makes the channel name "UnscriptedHonest" ironic lol

Blizzard employees are the first one to be tired of this shit. You see how bad is a game you love turn bad? How about a game you love that you made working on it your job, and management forces you to make it shittier and shittier? By your own hand?
I'm quite convinced that they have known for a while what people think of their storyline and shifts . Since at least them folding on the Alexstrasza lore before of twitter outrage , or fan calling Anduin "soy boy" since at least Shadowlands . They followed directive from above and/or they did not care for that feedback and doubled down

Yes, that horse did single handedly kill the starcraft franchise by proving blizzard doesn't need to make a game to make money, they can just make a reskin of an existing model in an existing game. Which is sad but so damn true.

Oh Thrall. I wish I could share your hope for the future, but I've been burned one too many times for that to be the case. If Blizzard can turn things around, that's excellent. But I've learned not to get my hopes up when a game company I've used to love has not only dropped the ball, but thrown it to the floor and stomped it flat time after time.

Microsoft MAY change blizz for the better, but it will be a slow ass process. Years of weeding out the shit employees. Changing the mantras, the focus, the culture. And then again, they can swirl back into a ditch at any moment.
Bobby s gone (okay, will be in 5 weeks), and its great, but deprogramming the staff from his bs is another hill to climb
Problem is they'd have to almost totally rebuild at this point. The good reputation Blizzard had so much talent flocking to them in the golden years that they could pay way below industry standard while being in a high cost area like Irvine. However, as that reputation has faded and the old guard retired or left the ranks at Blizzard have been filed over the years with under qualified bottom of the barrel talent. Like why go work for Blizzard when you could join one of the studios created by former Blizzard devs, make 40-60% more, have a better cost of living, and actually make good games.
This video had more emotion in it than any WoW cinematic after Legion
