As long as I love her for who she is, don't try to change her, and take care of her, she is ride or die.
I NEVER throw any hair product away, no matter how they work on my hair. Bomb leave in? Add some extra oil/honey/aloe vera and use it as a deep conditioner. Drying conditioner? Throw some castile soap and peppermint oil in that ish and get a stimulating shampoo! Even Cantu that had my hair feeling like sun dried hay was repurposed...to a tub cleaner lol! In all honesty, I've spent hundreds on products that did nothing for me, just because someone told me to buy them. Now, unless it's a brand/person I want to support (like Naptural85), I stick to the same 2 products and herbs and stuff from my kitchen and just modify the ratios to fit whatever I need.

BKnatural_ E my hair wasn’t itchy 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️. The higher concentration is in butters and oils and my hair likes both. Everyone is different. A deep conditioner and a cream literally have the same ingredients. Like I said, I encourage everyone to learn their hair and do what works best for them.
Fantastic job! Your hair is gorgeous but I need something much simpler. I'm old and by the time I finish mixing all those products I can't do anything else but take a nap.😃 But thank you for an enjoyable tutorial.😘🌺
Back when I first went natural (Circa 2006), all of these so called ‘natural’ products weren’t even thought of or on the market, for the exception of DevaCurl Giovanni and Carols Daughter. I only do DIY Ayurvedic products from my put together cabinet. A Deep Conditioner for me was and is a conditioner that you choose to just leave in for maybe .10-.15 extra minutes longer while you clean your house so it can draw some heat from your workout of cleaning up your house, lol. Child, I left the hype of the product band wagons years and years ago.
Sometimes when I ran out of leave in conditioner, I just leave the regular conditioner in my hair. I’m not get ready to go to the store for some leave in conditioner.🥴
You have to be careful advising not to follow directions on the label. I watched a video from 22nd Century Woman and she stated to use products as stated on the label. For example if the label states to leave in and rinse out after 15 minutes, you should do so. You don't know what those chemicals are doing to your hair if you leave in until your next hair wash. I became natural to use less chemicals. I believe mixing all of these products/ chemicals will not benefit anyone in the long run. Just like the perms and color did not benefit me after decades of use. 22 Century Woman is older than you and the length of hair proves she has learned from experience. My hair is fine and thin and I know from experience that these companies almost never test in their labs, combining their products with other competitor products.
Yup, I use to subscribe to the this big UA-camr. After that whole Mielle organics mess, she went and gave a review about the mielle rice water products. Saying it was amazing 🙃Thats the moment I realised she sold out and couldn’t trust the community as much
Hey girl🖐🏾 , you need to do another video repurposing your products in your stash, this was fun to watch! I use the Eden Bodyworks hibiscus and honey custard mixed with oil as a prepoo.
I quit listening to the natural hair community 4 years ago after my good friend assumed the products would change her hair texture until I explained GENEs!!!!! Besides, I’ve seen better results doing the opposite of what the over marketed natural hair community recommends !
The Mane Choice Do It for the Fro DC was a fail for me too on my low porosity hair. Also the Do It for the Fro shampoo and conditioner was a fail but the Leave In is my staple and I have bought it four times, loading up when the Mane Choice has a sale and cutting the plastic container open to get it all out at $17 a whoop! Will try the DC as a cream styler. Thanks for the recommendation on the Nut Bag too.
Your DIY’s always look amazing and I can absolutely tell how beneficial it’s been for your hair I’m taking notes from each video. Thanks for another great video 😉
You have definitely influenced how I approach products. I have stuff that doesn’t work as it’s marketed and I’ve started using that stuff as prepoo’s. And you gave me courage to make my own DC. Last week I made my own with NO added purchased products and my hair was wonderful!! And it’s more cost effective. Now I’ll use my store bought DC’s when I don’t have time to mix up my own. You’ve changed how I approach my hair and hair care and after 10 years natural I finally feel confident and trust myself to know what works for me! I’m actually using less product as well because steaming adds so much moisture I don’t have to layer a whole bunch of products anymore. Thank you!
This gives a really interesting psychological profile on the product junkie I wash my hair with nothing but water. I make it work by clarifying my hair after the shower with distilled water. Oh, and technique is really key to it on top of that.
The products you chose worked really well for you hair, and I too think it's one of your best twistouts. I love gels and gellies to help detangle my hair. I've used both Camille Rose's gels to help as pre-poos. I almost picked up that Mane Choice shampoo the other day. I heard that Do It Fro the Culture deep conditioner was really good too, because you can feel the oils in it. I actually used Eden Bodyworks Coconut Shea masque as my cream last week for some finger coils - turned out bomb. Great minds think alike lol.
Island woman!!! I'm not much a rule breaker. But when I use a powder heavy ayurvedic treatment, I use a silicone free conditioner to help rinse out the powders. With that being said, I use my Emerge BFF leave-in conditioner for this very task. Pretty Witty put me on to using disappointing shampoos as hand soap. I add a touch of glycerin and a bit of oil. Pressed for Curls hipped me to using Maui Moisture Heal and Hydrate Deep Conditioner as a leave-in. I believe it says you can do so on the packaging, but I didn't know it had a secondary use until I watched her YT post. You've inspired me to try the Mane Choice Ancient Egyptian DC as a styling cream. I wasn't wowed by it as a DC and it just looks so lonely sitting on my stash MC shelf. It's getting used. . .soon. . . #useyourstash. Shout out to Tresses of Alexis.
About a month ago I started learning how to take care of my hair. I’ve seen all of the famous people on UA-cam with thousands of expensive products. I just use a few things that I’ve been using for years that work for me. I’m glad I saw this video because I was about to become a product junkie and waste my money on a bunch of crap that does the same exact thing as the products I already have!
This is why you are THE QUEEN 👑 of Natural Hair (in my opinion) I will ALWAYS spend money or make DIYs you make because EVERYTHING you say, I can honestly say I’ve tried and have seen my hair changing and evolving since subscribing to your channel. I’ve been wanting the see what (I hope I don’t screw the name up lol) the Doux product line is all about but I haven’t seen you review it so i haven’t gone near it yet. But yea, some natural hair videos are OVERLY edited and I’m just like 👀👀 what DONT you want us to see? And that’s not me bashing anyone because I understand people have bills and need their coins, plus it’s hard to get in front of a camera and do videos. Anywho, this comment is too long. Lol, much love to you Queen 💜💜🥰🥰
You are truly the QUEEN of no lies 😊 ive been doing this since middle school ... and it works! rinse-out condish as leave-in and deep condish as styler... yep yep 🤗 tfs
I've learnt people change their mind about a lot of things, so I'd like to see your hair's progress in a year with a re-review on your thoughts about this idea as well...I find it interesting. Thank you!
I've been using a deep conditioner to detangle my hair before washing then shampoo then deep condition with oyin boing let it sit in over night then shake my head and go. So yeah. I use three products on my wash day and use oyin hair dew to fluff.
Interesting topic: I do everything wrong all the time because the "standard(s)" have never worked for my hair. My best wash and style days have been doing something wrong on accident (or on purpose), like cocktailing based on what my hair needs. Love the Mane Choice!
I am so glad I started my journey before UA-cam is what it is now so I didn’t rely on anyone I didn’t know to tell me anything. I had to do research and read different sites to put information together. Like I said before NO ONE has hair that looks like mine, I watch to get techniques and mostly for DIY at this point.... hence why I kick it tuff wit you sis 💙
I loved this video and how you know so much about the product ingredients. And how you didn't just throw money away but tried the products a different way. I think your personality and that island accent is incredible.
You would be floored at a lot of the stuff behind the scenes in this industry. I’ve been working in the industry on the manufacturing and formulation side specifically on natural hair products for 3 years now and I’ve seen so much.
That Shea Moisture used to be my HG but they changed the formula and it didn't flow..just clumped. I started making flax seed gel and adding glycerin..🤷🏾♀️
I have quite often used a deep conditioner as a leave in. No problems 🤷🏾♀️ So it is about how products are marketed. Like someone else said, just read the ingredients.
Ecoslay basically tell you you can use they deep conditioner as a leave in on their package, also a few other companies tell you the something like soulitancal butter shampoo can also be use as a deep conditioner.
Love the video. Trying to use my stash I accidentally used a Carol's Daughter Coco Creme DC as a hair butter because the packaging look similar to their moisture butter. It actually worked better than the butter. 🤣🤣 so thanks for making me feel better about not always using product's for their intended use😘😘
You used my fave shampoo 💜 With those suds I might try the Giovanni as a cowash. I don't care for it as a Leave-in. Nice way to use up products. You've inspired me to rethink prepooing options.
I have some coconut curling cream from Cantu that seems to dry my hair more than it moisturizes it. I’ll try using it as a wash out conditioner. Hopefully it works better that way. I hate wasting products/money. Thanks for the video.
I know there's a big issue with Shea Moisture, but the Manuka Honey and Mafura oil line kill it for my hair. So much so that now I use Manuka Honey and Mafura oil in my own DIY products and only use that line of shampoo. I never really understood the puddings or styling creams. I always just added gel to the leave in creams to set braids, twists, and curling or flexi-rods. I feel like a lot of products are a waste of money and you can make the same stuff at home that is cheaper and better quality.
I've never used any of those products you shown they've always been too expensive for me I started out well TRESemme olive oil and Eco Styler gel and that's all I use for years then I started buying VO5 from the Dollar Tree as a conditioner instead of Tresemme when they change the formula it doesn't take a lot of money to do your hair if your natural 3 products is all you need. You can get all three products from the Dollar Tree they have olive oil gel and conditioner. the cheapest the better, that's what I found that works for me💋 when my daughter start making products I start using hers💋 love the video, love your Insight, keep the good work up💋
I use Style Factor Edge Booster to lay my lace front and it is SUPER easy to just lift it up at the end of the day! I just lay the edge booster where I want my wig to sit and BAM!!!
Thank you for showing us there are no limits! I must try that deep conditioner you made. You look so beautiful, I absolutely adore how your hair came out, lots of love to you dear!
The mane choice Easy on the curls detangling hydration shampoo is so good! I bought it when Alove4me mention it on her channel. It is a stable! Your hair is flourishing for sure!!!!! Great video!
Sis I was thinking about this this past week our hair does not know the difference between a leave in, moisturizer, deep conditioner, etc. only the human eye. I personally think the only “difference“ if any is the consistency other than that your hair will tell you what it likes and doesn’t like. One point in my life I used the uncle funkys daughter curly magic as a moisturizer 🤷🏽♀️ perfect example a DIY product YOU have the say so in what you use it for.
When I big chopped for the 2nd time last year, my curly hair was super short & I used CURLS Control Paste as my only styler. Just a $1 conditioner as my leave in and edge control as my styler. Easy.
Chilee I locd my hair because it took too much time and effort. Also there weren’t many 4c youtubers back then so I had to figure everything out on my own. I realized after 5 years that it wasn’t for me. Your hair looks beautiful tho ❤️
Very interesting. I've had lots of products I hated. Usually shampoos and conditioners I don't like I use them on wigs. Recently bought a new deep conditioner and you can also use it as a leave in so you're definitely correct. You've given me a lot of food for thought.
SheRea! This is a GENIUS idea! I have some Mielle custard and gel that I want to get rid of and I’ll use them as a pre-poo as well! Thanks for the great ideas! ❤️
Most of us have been repurposing products for years just based on what makes sense. Tbh, how often do we follow the directions on the label? Although, at times we should depending on the product, lol. I think we are all still learning and relearning how to care for our natural hair; as we are behind the curve due to miseducation. Trial and error has been the greatest teacher thus far.
Also we need to let go of the notion of "natural hair products". These hair companies are laughing all the way to the bank. HAIR IS HAIR. Read the product ingredients and see if your hair will like it.
Girl you gave me an idea of how to alternatively use my stash. Me and Melanin hair care products are not friends. I'm about to turn that cream into a deep condish. Thanks!
I have been using Rinse outs & Deep conditioner as my curl stylers for years. Works better than any cream styler I ever tried. Plus I like to double up uses for products. I dont have the space for 10 different products in my bathroom.
May I suggest putting your mousse on before your cream. I’ve started doing that with my son and the hold is so much better bit still moisturized. Your hair does look beautiful. Literally juicy!
The shampoo which i dont use it,I use to soak bath mats, overnight, then raise it before I put them in a washing machine, it becomes super clean and fluffy, and I use it for cleaning a bath tub, sink and toilet
Just by reading the title of this video I didn’t even watch the vlog...I do not totally agree with you....15 years or longer ..we used crack cream perms and still use straight hair wigs... I think the natural hair community did wonders for women of color...for example low self esteem has risen... when the natural hair community showed how our curls popped and it was cute..most if not all embraced the curls ...even though we still have challenges..but most still embraced our natural hair and still do years passed..I think you should change the title of this video to fit your point...it makes me think of click bate or trying to get brownie points or you just didn’t know how to title this...I do agree that some influencers are lying to get that paper..but we have to do what’s best for us...and do research.. I do enjoy some of your videos...but girl this title didn’t fit your point...be safe
Yea you needed to know...and that’s my point didn’t need to watch full I did the first2 min just to see where you were going... I’m glad to have made it clear that the natural hair community is not a scam.. 😎
I knew from the description that this was going to be one of those keeping it real chat videos. This is why I subscribed. Now, let me finished watching and listening. lol
Great video, honestly. When you look at the ingredients for deep conditioners, leave in, masks and rinse outs, it's all the same main ingredients. Namely water, glycerin, cetyral alcohol, etc. Don't be fooled guys!
Dang! KandidKinks just dropped a video talking about this, but from how social media is manipulated to spread misconceptions. Thank y’all for spilling the tea. This mess is getting frustrating.
Gurrl, you had me screaming about the brand you no longer mention!😆 I thought I was the only one who felt the souffle was totally overrated. Nothing I did made it work for me either.
I don't like that foaming Giovanni direct leave in either for my 4C hair so I gave it to my greatniece who has 2C hair. I love the Giovanni Deeper Moisture rinse out conditioner though. That ting has worlds of SLIP!! Great video as usual😍
just a heads up, it seems like you have the old version of the mane choice shampoo (the packaging is different now) and the formula has changed 😕 i still like it but it’s less cleansing now!
I've used the Melanin styling cream as a heat protectant for my blowout last year and it was bomb 😭😂. And I've used Camillr Rose Naturals Bacuri Styling Foam as a styler for a twistout and I got MAJOR definition.
Oh thats Lauren Cowashes now have cleansing ingredients in them but some are still super moisturizing so instead of using them to clean the hair, they are used after shampoo to condition the hair and restore moisture
Well, stylist who aren't "Natural Hair" stylists also say you shouldn't leave conditioners that aren't designed to be leave ins on your hair. Why? Because they're made with stuff that shouldn't just sit on your hair. Of course you can do it...But that doesn't mean you should do it.
I really try not to waste products, for example, if there's a shamppoo I don't like, I use it to wash my hair tools😂😂
I use them to wash my makeup brushes lol
@@SheReaDelSol wow me too!
Kayla or how about using nit to wash your wigs, there’s a thought

Also the Do It for the Fro shampoo and conditioner was a fail but the Leave In is my staple and I have bought it four times, loading up when the Mane Choice has a sale and cutting the plastic container open to get it all out at $17 a whoop! Will try the DC as a cream styler. Thanks for the recommendation on the Nut Bag too.
I didn’t like the leave i’m either. Used it up as a rinse out lol
Welp I’m too late to the party because I just tossed out two products after being upset at how dry they had my hair 😅
You been natural too long for this sis. Use them up anyway you can lol
Your DIY’s always look amazing and I can absolutely tell how beneficial it’s been for your hair I’m taking notes from each video. Thanks for another great video 😉
Thank you so much Denise. It was really was a game changer for me
You have definitely influenced how I approach products. Thank you!
You are so welcome!! This really means a lot
This gives a really interesting psychological profile on the product junkie
I wash my hair with nothing but water. I make it work by clarifying my hair after the shower with distilled water. Oh, and technique is really key to it on top of that.
I SO appreciate having you here, SheRea. Thank you for your common-sense perspective!
Thanks much hon!
@@SheReaDelSol Big ups, Island Girl. 😁
AMAZING!!!
Sounds awesome!!
The vast majority of people get paid to promote products in hair care and other videos.
Just use what works!
Much love TO YOU!!!! You always cheer me up . Thanks so much
SheRea DelSol 😘😘
I also just mix up things when I want them gone 😂😂 but also don't want to throw my money in the bin 😄
And it’s all the same ingredients if we are being HONEST
@@SheReaDelSol Exactly!
P.s. my routine is deep condition-shampoo-deep condition-LC/LO and my hair is thriving sometimes DC-Shampoo LO/LC
Jacky Wairegi 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
You are truly the QUEEN of no lies 😊
ive been doing this since middle school ... and it works!
rinse-out condish as leave-in and deep condish as styler... yep yep 🤗 tfs
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
I've learnt people change their mind about a lot of things, so I'd like to see your hair's progress in a year with a re-review on your thoughts about this idea as well...I find it interesting. Thank you!
No problem!
I've been using a deep conditioner to detangle my hair before washing then shampoo then deep condition with oyin boing let it sit in over night then shake my head and go. So yeah. I use three products on my wash day and use oyin hair dew to fluff.
Lady, I just found your channel, I was raised in St. Thomas, VI, too! Love the insight!
Thank you so much
Interesting topic: I do everything wrong all the time because the "standard(s)" have never worked for my hair. My best wash and style days have been doing something wrong on accident (or on purpose), like cocktailing based on what my hair needs. Love the Mane Choice!
Agreed! We just have to do what works
Thank you sis
Just when I thought the content couldn't get any better than what it already is, SheRea just comes out, shows up and shows out. This is dope!
Thank ya sis!!
I loved this video and how you know so much about the product ingredients. And how you didn't just throw money away but tried the products a different way. I think your personality and that island accent is incredible.
Thank you lovely!
You would be floored at a lot of the stuff behind the scenes in this industry. I’ve been working in the industry on the manufacturing and formulation side specifically on natural hair products for 3 years now and I’ve seen so much.
Oh do tell
SheRea DelSol i wish I could! I wanna keep my job lol
That Shea Moisture used to be my HG but they changed the formula and it didn't flow..just clumped. I started making flax seed gel and adding glycerin..🤷🏾♀️
SM and those formula changes
I read ingredients and end up using rinse out conditioners as leave ins bc a lot of leave ins have honey, coconut oil or aloe vera....
Exactly
Yes, I do the same thing.
I bet that mask was amazing lol
That DC is very good.
Tell me what I need to do so I can do my hair right and make sure it’s growing healthy.
The first step is listen to your hair!
You used my fave shampoo 💜 With those suds I might try the Giovanni as a cowash. I don't care for it as a Leave-in. Nice way to use up products. You've inspired me to rethink prepooing options.
you’re so welcome
You are so creative and innovative! I never thought to use a DC as a cream but it makes sense! Plus your hair looks so soft. I love a fluffy fro ❤️
I do too!!
SheRea DelSol ❤️
I have some coconut curling cream from Cantu that seems to dry my hair more than it moisturizes it. I’ll try using it as a wash out conditioner. Hopefully it works better that way. I hate wasting products/money. Thanks for the video.
You’re welcome hon
Soooo glad you did this, i have a a leave-in now that i am disappointed beyond disappointed in and now I will try it as something different. Thanks!!!
No worries!
Sherea👏🏾!! Im only 1min in and I'm loving this!! And the background colour !!! You know I always have to mention this😍
Glad you appreciate my hard work on the production side!
Thank you for showing us there are no limits! I must try that deep conditioner you made. You look so beautiful, I absolutely adore how your hair came out, lots of love to you dear!
Thank you so much!
Thank you for every heavy-handed disclaimer, my low porosity hair needs more than a few dabs on the fingertips! 😂
Mine does too. Ion know how people do it
Thank you so much for this video! I'll be using my *Garnier Fructis Leave-in* as a rinse out on my next wash day! So glad I found your channel 🤗👍🏽
Please subscribe if you haven’t
I'm just listening cause I'm considering going back to my relaxer.
Do what’s best for you
The mane choice Easy on the curls detangling hydration shampoo is so good! I bought it when Alove4me mention it on her channel. It is a stable! Your hair is flourishing for sure!!!!! Great video!
Thanks so much sis
My arms would be SO tired!
Thank you!
You’re right, our hair really doesn’t know the difference lol
When I big chopped for the 2nd time last year, my curly hair was super short & I used CURLS Control Paste as my only styler. Just a $1 conditioner as my leave in and edge control as my styler. Easy.
Exactly
Chilee I locd my hair because it took too much time and effort. Also there weren’t many 4c youtubers back then so I had to figure everything out on my own. I realized after 5 years that it wasn’t for me. Your hair looks beautiful tho ❤️
Very interesting. I've had lots of products I hated. Usually shampoos and conditioners I don't like I use them on wigs. Recently bought a new deep conditioner and you can also use it as a leave in so you're definitely correct. You've given me a lot of food for thought.
No problem love
Yes I will mix a bunch of products I don't care for or need to use up together to make pre poos, stylers, dc's, etc.
Exactly
You totally blew the the back of my head off!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank u SiS for opening my mind up ✊🏾👊🏾💯
Welcome!
Yow!! I've been doing this since I started properly taking care of my hair. And my friends thought I was crazy..you're speaking facts! It's marketing
It really is
SheRea! This is a GENIUS idea! I have some Mielle custard and gel that I want to get rid of and I’ll use them as a pre-poo as well! Thanks for the great ideas! ❤️
You’re so welcome hon
I agree. I waste nothing. I often re-purpose my product to suit my needs. Great topic.
Thanks so much dear!
Thanks for watching.
Your hair looks amazing! The definition and volume is everything. I loved this video.
It really was amazing
You’re literally my favourite youtuberrrr!
Means the world to me
Also we need to let go of the notion of "natural hair products". These hair companies are laughing all the way to the bank. HAIR IS HAIR. Read the product ingredients and see if your hair will like it.
I prefer black owned products because I like specific ingredients but I totally agree
You know you early when the video loads in 360p instead of 1080p lol.
Gross 🥴
Girl you gave me an idea of how to alternatively use my stash. Me and Melanin hair care products are not friends. I'm about to turn that cream into a deep condish. Thanks!
Or use it as a body cream!
You can also use it as a lotion she even tells you that in her video it gentle enough to use on your skin.
Anyone here use rinse out conditioners as a leave in?? I’ve been debating about trying it lol 👁👁
I have for years
I attempted too, but in my hair the Rinse Out dried hard and my scalp was crusty by end of week, try it anyways is what I say.
I use the green VO5 conditioner as a leave-in. I can also use it as a pre-poo if my hair is super tangled prior to washing. Dollar Tree!
I have been using Rinse outs & Deep conditioner as my curl stylers for years. Works better than any cream styler I ever tried. Plus I like to double up uses for products. I dont have the space for 10 different products in my bathroom.
Exactly
May I suggest putting your mousse on before your cream. I’ve started doing that with my son and the hold is so much better bit still moisturized.
Your hair does look beautiful. Literally juicy!
Thanks for that tip!
The shampoo which i dont use it,I use to soak bath mats, overnight, then raise it before I put them in a washing machine, it becomes super clean and fluffy, and I use it for cleaning a bath tub, sink and toilet
Nice!
Girl you wrote an essay but didn’t even watch? LOL. Have a great weekend 🥰
Yea you needed to know...and that’s my point didn’t need to watch full I did the first2 min just to see where you were going... I’m glad to have made it clear that the natural hair community is not a scam.. 😎
@@Dede_5718 girl you are old but clearly didn't understand the point of the video. Yikes how embarrassing 🤦🏾♀️
thank you
@@Dede_5718 you should have watched the video instead of taking the title as face value and too deep because it wasn’t.
Yoooooooo your results are crazy definitely opened my mind up
It was crazyyyyy
I knew from the description that this was going to be one of those keeping it real chat videos. This is why I subscribed. Now, let me finished watching and listening. lol
😘😘😘
If I don’t have time to prepoo, I use water and eco styler gel to detangle my hair right before shampooing. 🥴
Eco has slip?
Great video, honestly. When you look at the ingredients for deep conditioners, leave in, masks and rinse outs, it's all the same main ingredients. Namely water, glycerin, cetyral alcohol, etc. Don't be fooled guys!
Exactly
👀👀let me find out we can use deep conditioners as a cream
You definitely can
I’ve been natural since 2009 . I’ve used a lot of product. I found out the ABSOLUTE BEST products were the ones I made myself!!! 🙌🏾✨💕
Also that lol
Girl.... your a genius! Now I know how to get rid of those products I don’t use and more. Much love and appreciation 🧡❤️🧡❤️🧡❤️🧡❤️🧡💗💗💗💗💗💗
You are so welcome hon
Dang! KandidKinks just dropped a video talking about this, but from how social media is manipulated to spread misconceptions. Thank y’all for spilling the tea. This mess is getting frustrating.
So frustrating!
Gurrl, you had me screaming about the brand you no longer mention!😆 I thought I was the only one who felt the souffle was totally overrated. Nothing I did made it work for me either.
❤️❤️
I don't like that foaming Giovanni direct leave in either for my 4C hair so I gave it to my greatniece who has 2C hair. I love the Giovanni Deeper Moisture rinse out conditioner though. That ting has worlds of SLIP!! Great video as usual😍
Thankssss for watching
just a heads up, it seems like you have the old version of the mane choice shampoo (the packaging is different now) and the formula has changed 😕 i still like it but it’s less cleansing now!
Courtney said the formula didn’t change 🙄. That’s unfortunate. I’m sure I’ll still like the new formula but 😒
SheRea DelSol yea...the new one only has cocamidopropyl bentaine (no olefin sulfonate)
I've used the Melanin styling cream as a heat protectant for my blowout last year and it was bomb 😭😂. And I've used Camillr Rose Naturals Bacuri Styling Foam as a styler for a twistout and I got MAJOR definition.
I use foams almost exclusively for twist outs lol
I’ve used my co-wash as a rinse out plenty of times. Sometimes that detangle, moisture, slip from a cowash is needed as a rinse out.
I agree! Same!
Some of these comments aren’t making any sense lol
Oh thats Lauren Cowashes now have cleansing ingredients in them but some are still super moisturizing so instead of using them to clean the hair, they are used after shampoo to condition the hair and restore moisture
i love your videos so much and i'm so glad i'm subscribed! i never get tired of your honesty and genuinely helpful hair tips 💕💕
Thank you so much hon
Well, stylist who aren't "Natural Hair" stylists also say you shouldn't leave conditioners that aren't designed to be leave ins on your hair. Why? Because they're made with stuff that shouldn't just sit on your hair. Of course you can do it...But that doesn't mean you should do it.
