I love my SB13-Ultra & will be adding a second SB-4000 once my "sock money" is where it needs to be. Great video by the way.
Great video for understanding subs. I bought the SVS SB2000 a few years ago and pull it in and out of my two listening areas. In a smaller room (15 x 25) the sub tends to be "muddy" and low end notes are not defined. But in the larger space that opens to many rooms it works much better.

I can tell from the resonance in your voice, you are in a poorly damped space that won't do that equipment justice.
Btw, I have two of the SB 2000 b/c my listening room is small. And I bought the first one in 2016 and just added the second one. I got the original version b/c I have Dirac with DLBC, so I can do the crossover on my receiver, or if I wanted to I have a miniDSP 2 x4 HD, so I can do the crossover and DSP including Dirac there, so I was able to pay only $500 for the second SB 2000. And two SB 2000 will be more than enough subwoofer bass for almost anyone in a reasonably sized room.
All subs should be ported. They always sound better or louder. Since I have built car enclosures back in the day I have always bought home ported subs. I gotta hear a sb 2000. Your making me want to replace my working sub matt
Why not buy 5 or 6 more subs so they can ultimately be returned via SVS’s generous return policy?
That is not the right thing to do.
It's hardly ever the same woofer... these may look the same but probably are not
Get a nobody in there to give there advice if they notice difference
LOL subs for in the garage, thats obsessed
Had me fooled for a second there. It’s actually the sb-2000 PRO and not the sb-2000 👀
Bro, you've got tens, maybe hundreds, of thousands dollars of equipment in there... Fork out some cash for some acoustic panels 😆
Bro r u depressed what happened to civic si
hehe typical american ::)
When people get hooked on listening to equipment they tend to lose their musical brain cells.
And testing in a garage?
