Every time I see a jumping spider somewhere, I can't be upset. They're so darn cute and they move like they're stop-motion props! I love how they look up at me like, "Who are you? You're big," and I can't help but say hi. I've yet to see a baby one, though!
They're the tiniest little things on Earth! Or they can be, anyway, depending on the species. I've got little black and brown jumping spiders back home whose abdomens aren't quite the size of a pin head, and their babies are so small you could mistake them for dust in the air.
At one point while watching this I yelped because I felt something brush up against the hair on my arm. I didn't realize baby spiders could come through a computer screen, but I should've known because we're on... the _web._ I'll see myself out.
I love how the limit of jumping spiderlings in a cup is not how many can fit in there comfortably, but how many can stay in there before the rest escape.

as someone with arachnophobia, I get strangely comforted seeing you guys take such great care of these spiders! I'm learning to be less afraid of these little guys so thank you
A core memory from my childhood is when I caught a huge jumping spider, it was really pretty that's why I wanted to put it in a jar just to look at it for a while, but she made a nest right where the lid of the jar and the jar met and I didn't want to disturb her so I kept her a little longer and sure enough babies hatched! Then we released them. It was pretty cool.
Thanks to this channel i didnt freak out and brush off my visitor the other day. A tiny jumping spider crawled up my towel that i wore and i just sat there admiring it. Got som sweet videos of the tiny being looking up at me with those big eyes 😍😍 so cute
I had a Phidippus carneus that I got from a reptile show who laid a massive egg-sac. A few months later they hatched! Over 100 little ones! That was two and a half years ago and I still have 5 from that! I sent a large portion to another jumping spider breeder while I kept about 20.
I separated each one of those 100+ into little cups as well. Sometimes if I tapped on the lid, one would just fall, but then climb right back up like a tiny little SPIDER YOYO! Only a few ever got out, and the ones that did, by some stroke of luck, just reappeared climbing on Muffet's (my pink toe tarantula) cage

Baby spiders are so cute!! I once saved a mama spider from a pool and all of her tiny babies (I'm assuming very recently hatched) were clinging to her back! This was VERY interesting to me ! I raised baby house spiders in my bathroom ! At least , they looked like house spiders to me ! I collected the mother spider and her egg sac and I put them in a container that I had from something else . As the eggs were developing in the egg sac , I would stun crane flies and I would take off one of it's wings and give it to the mother spider and she would eat the juice out of it . About 12 - 14 days later , the spiderlings hatched out of the egg sac !!! There were around 237 of them !!!! I left them in the container with the mother spider until they were about 3 - 4 days old and then , I took them outside and I got a stick that was about a foot long and I stuck the stick down into the webs and I kind of GENTLY stirred the webs around in the container and I put the mother spider WITH her spiderlings in the woods (on some leaves) and I told them that I loved them and to have a good life . I turned around and I left them in the woods and I went inside and I began watching TV . I also raised an orb weaver spider's egg in her egg sac because my next door neighbor KILLED THE MOTHER SPIDER !!!!! I WAS SOOOOO ANGRY THAT HE DID THAT !!!!! The egg sac opened up a little bit and some of the spiderlings started to climb out of the egg sac ! I had to put it in a different container than the one that I used for the house spider and her spiderlings ! I waited until some more spiderlings hatched out of the egg sac and I put THOSE spiderlings in the woods in a different place than the other ones and I told them to have a good life , too !!!!! That is the end of my raising of the spiders !!!! I would do it again if I had to !!!!!!

Why do Emily’s audible adds always make me laugh so much? 😅😂
Aww! Cute jumping spider babies!
I just got a jumping spider a couple of days ago! She’s named Lucas!
She only has one front leg/pedipalp thing so she’s special. I love her so much and she already ate a bug. :D
