I think being about £13k+ cheaper after tuning and mods plus the S3 being 35hp down it's a win, win for the S3. Both look amazing cars. Great race again Jamie 😎👍

my friends older S3 made 550HP on a TTE535 turbo, with full boost already at 3000RPM, which is pretty much the same as the stock RS3 since 2.5TFSI can't use a twin scroll. If you're fine with 2.0TFSI sound then the S3 is definitely the way to go for street tuning.

Very gracious in victory that RS3 owner 😂. Much closer than I thought it would be. Definitely a win win for the S3, Cost / Performance, I'm genuinely surprised how well it performed in contrast. I'd take the S3 please + the difference in £££. Happy new year Jamie and subs, I can only imagine what you and the channel will be getting up to this year.
Put an ECU tune and same mods on rs3. You pay for what you get

S3 is a great platform, and yes it's cheaper. But I prefer the sound of that 5 cyl, still gonna be copping one of them at the end of 2023 for sure

to the owner of that rs3 beautiful car love it..relax a bit on the world’s fastest. Also when rolling racing it needs to been in Manuel mode to get that nice launch. Big shout out to the s3 love the look of it sits very nicely and done well!! Tcu tune does a big difference when tuning engine so they can calibrate with either thats also what gets the s3 that more go.
I love anything RS but I was rooting for the S3.
So happy it pulled one back.
Kinda sounded like it short shifted again on last drag race. But that's an Audi thing because they auto shift even in manual. 🤦🏾♂️

Both Q7 and 3.0 A6 I had auto shifted no matter what mode you were in. And I heard similar stories about so many S or RS Audis as well..

Probably same numbers but it will run better. I don’t see how the same engine and turbo from the last model as well is gonna somehow make more power.

You don't see how it could make more power? E85 + Injectors + adjust timing = 620hp & 760Nm
UNITRONIC TTRS 8S runs 9s with slicks.

I would still have the 5 pot as there’s so much potential for big numbers, there just an insane engine
And the 5 pot costs a lot more though all round through mods etc …

I'm a bmw fanboy and not an Audi fan at all but they're the nicest Audi's I've seen
I like the s3 back bumper more, since it doesn’t have that black grill looking non sense. That color is amazing as well! But the 5 cylinder is worth every penny, even just for the sound and reliability.
I like how they change their tune and facial expression when they are losing. My momma taught me to be humble . It will take you further in life.
1st roll race RS3 hits the limiter slowing it down 2nd roll race RS3 was in 5th and dropped to 2nd gear whilst S3 was already in 2nd gear which is why it lost so badly
Also you can hear a bit of DCT slippage from the RS3 @ 11:29 which made it drop back even further in the first roll race
There's no such thing as hitting the rev limiter in these cars, it auto shifts regardless if you are paddle shifting. The TCU's are LOCKED and cannot be tuned. Stop with your excuses clown.
These 2.0 L engines just get more and more impressive I love five cylinders but there is no denying the 2.0 potential

Ohhhhh yeah... I got my predictions correct for the 2nd round and bet on the S3 based on how the S3 shot off from lauch on the 1st round..... I'm a RS fan all day but i can bet if it were not for the S3 short shifting it could chaw that RS all day from a dig.... the roll race was just walk in the park for the S3. I never expected these results ..... That S3 definitely needs to come back 😊...big up to both cars and their owners. 🤟💯🇿🇦

when launching these cars, the gearbox is using amax setting, eliminating shifttimes by sliding the clutches in and out of gear with the power on 100% all the time, regular shifting do cut the power in between gears to help longevity. thats probably why they are fastest 100-200 when drag racing.

You’re forgetting about the weight difference. That s3 is lighter to begin with and has had a lot chucked out of it.
