    Chris man, I'm kind of the opposite of a Korean ramen expert but on your korean ramen video, I was like the ONLY one in the comments who put the packet first. Haha so I'm glad at least someone agrees with me. It's exactly like he said, you want the flavour from the packet to soak into the noodles, otherwise the noodles won't taste like anything, IMHO. But the gang war between the soup packet firsts and the noodle firsts rages on forever, doesn't it? Haha 😄

    Have you tried it w/ teaspoon of sesame oil? Gives it a totally diff flavor

    You guys are hilarious! They both look delicious...I would never think to add rice cakes! I make mine the Miguk way...just soup powder & noodles and if I'm feeling fancy some meat & kimchi lol! Gotta make my way to Philly so I can eat at your restaurant for some great Korean food!

    I've always put the soup base before the noods, but I also only make ramen for myself and in the same pot. If I make 2 ramen or use a new pot, I might have to put the noods first to measure the water since I'm not familiar with the measurements.... good advice man.

    I always have problems with the water ratio man. And I'm .3% korean 🤷‍♂️

    • @ChefChrisCho
      @ChefChrisCho  5 років тому

      Boil your water and ramen first and put the powered AFTER you figure out the water ratio. Promise this works ✌️
