My mom always said it doesn’t matter who you give your recipe to. Different hand, different taste. People may have your recipe but it will never taste exactly the same! Definitely going to try this,
OMG i would like to taste it in your restaurant it looks amazing i really wish i can come and try all the incredible things out there and thank you for sharing the recepies keep going
This looks delicious excited to try potato starch on chicken, only ever use potato starch for shrimp -- so good at keeping the meats natural flavor. My Korean friend taught me a similar sauce recipe but also including gochujang + fine gochugaru. Whenever I make it for people they ask for the recipe -- I have kept the recipe secret but now if they ask I will send them this video
Hey Chef, your dish looks amazing! I’m coming from instagram btw ;) I wanted to ask you about the sauce, as one of the ingredients that I didn’t quite get was the “Koshujan” which is that red paste that you used. Is there anything that could replace it? Or what actually is it (I thought it would be chili paste, but yet I couldn’t find it by researching because I couldn’t get the name correctly 😂🙂)?
I used used your recipe for the batter to manage a GF diet for family and it was amazing! I'll be making the sauce to accompany this next time I make it 😊👌
I love watching you cook and I have been wanting to try something new for my family. I am going to try your Korean recipes, we all like some sweet and heat, so should be a hit
Please bring this to El paso, TX! My husband and I are stationed here and I swear! You would become a millionaire fast here. SHOUT-OUT TO MY CITY! 215 WE OUT HERE!
I love Chef Cho! I make some of his recipes regularly and now I'm going to make this one this weekend for my boyfriend ❤ thank you for sharing this amazing recipe with us!
How do u spell the ingredient that u used before the ketchup? It's the only thing I'm missing for this recipe. It'll help me find it when I go look for it.
So what’s the difference between corn starch and potato starch? Started out using potato for the first time I made this, then I did corn. Not much of a difference to me. I’d like to see if others can tell a difference.
It's cool that you shared the recipe with us! even tho it's on you're menu, truth be told we could never cook it as good as the general himself!
All youtubers do this... but they don't give you all the ingredients.

Making it now.
DO NOT SUBSTITUTE WITH CORN STARCH. Flavor is close but the texture is lackluster. Ensure you dang near purée the garlic.small zest of lemon…

The realness!
Yepp~ I rarely eat non-Korean food, it’s just how I grew up. I still eat other food, but not as much as Korean food
I’m excited to try this recipe! Last time I tried to make similar sauce I ended up putting too much rice syrup and it was very sweet and heavy 😂
Delicious😋,thank you sir chris😊😊😊

it's 고추장 (gochujang) which is a spicy paste made from red chili pepper flakes
@@ericdwkim thanks for letting me know Eric! I really appreciate it :)
Any Korean market has it. I even saw a small jar of it at Whole Foods but I would not be able to guarantee the authenticity of flavor.
I’ve also seen it at Kroger in the Asian foods aisle
Gochujang red chili pepper paste can be found on amazon for 6 bucks
