Yesterday after my performance in Rockford I decided to go speak to a little girl who was fixated on me while I played. I am a Flourishing Tenor in a bagpipe band and I drum and twirl my sticks at the same time. As I approached the little girl her mother stepped up and said I was her favorite. Her mother then turned to her and started to sign. She was deaf and so she enjoyed the music in a completely different way then most. I let her drum a bit, holding her hand on the drum head so she could feel it. Sometimes just a quick interaction with someone, especially strangers can have a huge impact, a reminder in todays world it’s the simple things in life that create happiness.
I do not think it possible not to cry reading your words...you drum and twirl your sticks in a magical way....and for that little girl to love and enjoy what you do is such a gift...such a blessing to know that what we do can be cherished by another so deserving. Thank you so much for tell this story Shirlyn! Is this Rockford Michigan by me?
God knows just the right moment to put an angel in our path to give us a gentle reminder to be grateful for all he has blessed us with. I believe your souls connected that day and the plaques were the proof!!
Suzan, I am trilled for you! You found so many beautiful treasures at the thrift store. I must say that Dezi stole the show by sitting at the table like a little gentleman. ❤️
I think you have a very kind spirt, Susan! I smiled through your ENTIRE video tonight! Thrilled that you found your Tuscany Rose plates and your gorgeous bowl! I'm not a flowers type of decorator but love fruits / veggies! Totally understand the thrill of thrifting, which I will resume this summer (lost the last two due to illness)! As for mugs, I have seasonal mugs also! They bring me joy! Time to put all things snowflakes away! I did wish to share with you and our community, something my PCP said to me earlier this week, since most of us are trying to get Spring / Summer ready -- I was told (due to fighting cancer) that she was NOT concerned with my diagnosis of being "obese" at this time as she wanted me to continue eating "healthy nutritious foods" to rebuild my stamina as I enter the next phase of recovery! Never in my life did I dream that a physician would comment on my skin color (rosiness of cheeks) brightness of eyes and texture of hair and praise me for progress in healing! SO for all of our community who might be worried about the numbers on a scale (mine were cringe-worthy) please take comfort in knowing eating well beats being malnourished! Monday I begin a new type of PT, meaning not the original place who started me gently and ST (speech therapy) in this next phase! I enjoyed spending Saturday night with you, Susan, as well as Desi, the little furry-cutie-patootie with the dishes & glassware! I know, such a long answer, but this was soul-comforting way to end my week with all of you! Much love, lightness, and gratitude! 💖🌞🙏
Sending positive healing thoughts from Florida! Your letter touched my heart and I wish you many years filled w renewed health, love & happiness! 💗🐬💐🦋💗
Desi is looking around the table as if to say “why are the plates empty?” Bring on the food. Luv the bowl. Yes, we are so blessed. Thanks for sharing and I am thankful for so much and for you also Susan. ❤️🙏🇺🇸🇺🇦
Susan...this will be a first. I came across you about two months ago. I love your ventures and honest openness. I am your age and retired and find so much joy in listening to you. Thank you ☺️
Don't worry about finding a house as they come with constant work and repairs. Something always breaks down and is so expensive to fix. Your apartment or condo is so safe and cosy and warm!! Oh and I love the 50s art deco bracelet!!
I agree fully, despite being thankful for our house & neighborhood. As we age, home maintenance can feel burdensome, even if we hire someone to do the work.
Susan, I love the bowl. I go to the thrift store once every week or two. I absolutely lose myself for a couple hours. It’s like a Cracker Jack box that is a delicious treat with a prize in the bottom. Have a wonderful Sunday and new week.
I loved the dishes, bowl and bracelets you bought! Love how happy thrift store shopping makes you. I go to thrift stores but I take things from my home to donate (I’ve been decluttering for a few years now). I don’t dare go into the thrift store to shop as I know I’d find treasures that I’d bring home. Desi is so adorable at the table in his trademark bow tie- love 💕 him. Love 💕 you too.
I'm feeling kinda jealous of the amazing thrift stores you have where you live. I really love the picture of the children in the water. I just bought a picture of 3 children digging together on the beach. Reminded me of my childhood days and yes i bought it at a thrift store. I find thrifting so relaxing and thrilling when you find something special. It never fails that i find what I'm looking for.
I have one by the same artist that I bought downtown in Toronto at Bowrings in the 80s and I still love it. Wished if I lived in Michigan I would run to get the other 2. There's no thrift store near me that has such delightful things to buy like Susan's.
What a fun thrift trip. Beautiful finds. My favorite was the woman in the wheelchair and what she gave you was priceless. Very successful. Desi is so dang cute too. 💕
Good evening Susan! Yes, we all have so much to be thankful for even in the midst of our trials and tribulations! You’re in my prayers to find a house for yourself and Desi. May God bless you! Hugs and kisses to little Desi! 💕😘🐶
Dear Susan; Thank you for another delightful vlog! Loved everything you bought because you showed us each items' beauty while elevating the magic in each. The story of the lady in the wheelchair was especially touching and tears came to my eyes while you told it. Many of us, especially those of us who live alone, long for a soul connection with others and sometimes we're gifted with a connection in a most profound way. We often receive messages from spirit through others and as you gently pointed out, you were open to receiving a message and it was heart-felt. Love and kindness are the keys to happiness and when we share those qualities with others a divine connection with spirit is made. Your eyes were shining in the video as spirit had woken you from your sleep.
Yes we need to be grateful and keep those that are suffering with the war in our hearts. Love the last shot of the peace mailbox with the ribbon. I enjoy your thrifting videos.
I’m so happy that you found your plates Susan. I felt so badly for you that you missed the last ones you saw…..but look how that turned out and at 50% off! Guess there’s a reason for everything & we don’t always know at the time. 🌹
Beautiful story about the young lady in the wheelchair - thank you for sharing ...... never give up on your dream home, it will happen! You have worked so hard over the last several years to get where you are today. I have no doubt that you will find your new home. For those who have never thrifted, they have no idea what they are missing - the thrill of the hunt! And you will never pay full-price for an item ever again!
Sweet sweet precious Desi. He has a very special spirit. You seem very vibrant and even more happy today! I think your grateful attitude on having a place to live that is safe and warm, is shining through. My heart breaks for this world and what innocent people go through that we can all easily take for granted. Freedom, peace, food, water, shelter, health. Thank you for always being a shining light! ☆♡☆ Becky....♡
Susan I’m always amazed by what you find at your thrift stores….such treasures. All great purchases today, the plates and dish were beautiful and how lucky to complete your set, but the painting was just gorgeous….a real find. The Noritake looked beautiful too but that is usually sooo expensive. Our charity shops ….as we call them in the u.k are nothing like yours for choice or value. Great video once again. Love Desi sitting at the table waiting to dine 😁 I do hope you will be able to get your little dream home…you never know what’s around the corner. We want to move too…I have a small house but would like something on one level now…but like you we finding everything so expensive. Loved your hair and makeup…really pretty. Thanks once again for making my Saturday….it’s 1.54am right now ….always watch you before going to bed. 🌸
Such fun to shop with you! The way you approach life is so inspiring! I just turned 71 in January and started believing that my peak years are pretty much over especially since I'm separated from my husband of 45 yrs.and feel totally unlovable. Then I watch you and smile and gain a glimmer of hope! Thank you pretty lady!!! Gale
I'm so sorry to hear about your home buying difficulty. When I looked in 2019, affordable houses were few and far between, so I opted for a brand new manufactured home. My home is just a two bedroom one bath 16' X 43', but there are larger beautifully designed ones. I am praying that your prayers are answered. 💗🏠🙏
The children playing in the water was my favorite and is beautiful. But, I could not take my eyes off of your butterfly necklace! It reminded me of the one I wore in 1979 when I met the absolute love of my life (second time around). You took me down memory lane wearing that necklace from over 40 years ago. Wow! We aren't together now but it certainly brought me to a place of the happiest few years of my life. Desi was so adorable at the table, how did you manage to get her to stay that way? I, too, cried a little in a public place this week when I went inside to get a small soup. I went to the counter to order and was tearful when telling her what I wanted. I asked if management could approve a sandwich for the 18yr old guy outside (he was standing on the corner on the way in to the little mall) because he was wearing a sign that said, "just hungry". They told me no, but I ordered another soup like mine in a separate bag to give to him. I walked outside a little ways and had a brief conversation with him and gave him the bag. I was so emotional about this young guy being hungry and also this large well known place owned by "christians" but could not help someone by giving him a small soup? I wish I could have spent a lot for his lunch but gave what I could. Yes, there are always those who have far less than we do. In these kind of situations it makes some of us thankful for what we do have but sad for those with less, and wish only the best for them. Enjoyed your video as always. Kiss your sweet Desi because he is soooooo cute.
I love how much joy you got at the thrift store..finding your dish set!! Seeing the woman in the wheelchair inspiring you to be grateful!! And then she had the other set of plaques..Such a great day..Desi at your beautiful table was so adorable..lov your videos Susan!!!
I love thrift store shopping and literally spend hours looking around. What’s great is you go back and there is all different merchandise to see. I love the German dish and I live your table setting so glad you found your dishes on discount day.
Oh, Susan! I love your outlook and I can't be the only person that actually got up and did a happy dance that you found your plates in the Tuscan pattern. Seeing Desi sitting there stylishly at the table with his little bow tie was just the cherry on the cake. Thanks for making my night Love to Desi and hugs to you. BTW I loved your bowl the best and I wish that you had gotten the painting in red and gold. It had so much joy.
I, too, would have taken the painting of the children in the water. One reason I enjoy your videos is to see how you arrange your belongings. You have a true gift. Bless you.
Thank you, dearest Susan. You & Desi make my heart smile❤️ I’m Italian & Irish too - I adore Italian pottery! A couple years ago, my folks passed within 2 years of each other and when I had a little free time, I would visit one of my local thrift stores & somehow it made me happier, even for a little while. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Nothing in life is a coincidence. God and Angels give us signs to guide us and to encourage us! That sweet joyous lady in a wheelchair put things in perspective for you when you needed it most! I love thrifting and need to go more often now that I'm retired and have time. What beautiful treasures you found and those stunning dishes were meant for you❤❤❤
How sweet ♥️ what a blessing that you both got the signs . Be happy & thankful for every day that you are on this earth & try to be a blessing to others . God bless you ♥️
Dear Susan, you're so beautiful, delightful and heartwarming. I sincerely appreciate your kindness, compassion, your appreciation to the beauty that surrounds you, and your deep and profound thoughts that inspire and moves me to tears. You're absolutely a bright light in these dark times my dear Friend. Keep shining brightly. Love your style! Much love and blessings to you and precious Desi. ❤️🙏🏻❤️
I believe that life does show you signs and you have to have your eyes open to see them. If you are in tune with the energy around you, then you will see what the signs are telling you. I remember when I was having digestive problems and looking for answers as to what might be causing the issues. I was walking to my job one day and there was a gust of wind. A paper bag landed near my feet and the logo on the bag read “eat less bread”. What could be more clearer! I followed that advice and my digestion improved! I know that your sign was meant to show you what is more important. I do love your videos Susan, your home is so cosy and filled with beautiful things that you have found and created on a limited budget. You have Desi who is so adorable and lovable, who clearly loves you unconditionally. I once had a mortgage on a home, my circumstances changed and I lost everything. Now I rent a one bedroom apartment and I am quite content. I realised that you never really own anything. It’s all only lent to you. When we leave the Earth, we can’t take it with us. All we. can take is the love and the lessons we have learned. 💕🙏🏻xxx
Susan if I lived where you lived, I would be in that thrift store. It’s so great that we don’t have to spend lots of money on things to make us happy. You were gleaming at times talking about your thrift trip and the dishes you found. I love it and I’m the same way. It really is those little things that make us happy. That woman and her laugh that caused you to think deeply was wonderful and yes with her purchase of the other two plaques was a sign of your all’s connection. So cool. You and Desi have a great week.💗
Hi Susan - Every time I watch your excitement in thrift store finds, you give me thrift store fever. You are a beautiful rosey lady! Love your smile and you exude happiness 🌹
Darling Desi at the table looks like he wants to shout "where's the food!" Was the calendar with Desi ever offered for sale? I dreamed about it the other night -- women were fighting over the calendar because there was only a few for sale. Ha You scored big time on the stretch bracelet. I'm an auctioneer and appraiser and vintage costume jewelry is a specialty of mine. It looks like bakelite. If so, it would probably bring $80 to $150 at auction. If jewelry comes back as crazy as prices were 3 yrs ago it could go way over that. If it's signed triple these numbers. Your joy of the hunt (and finding a treasure) makes me smile. Would love to have tea with you and Dez...
Wonderful when we are given such gifts as this through experiencing someone else's joy that then becomes ours. Love is like that. We've been promised that gift, and it's free and within us to bring out and share. This made my evening and brought me out of my funk, so thank you! ❤️🤗
I finally think I realize you're interior design mode, it reminds me of the era of The Great Gatsby Days!! Oh and I love the thrill of the hunt in my local thrifty stores too!! I am of proud English and Scottish heritage!! Beautiful story of what feelings the laughing Sister in the wheelchair brought to your mind!! It makes you feel gratitude for what you really do possess in this turbulent world we live in today. My Mother always says count your blessings daily!!!🥰
It was a sign. I watch your videos every Sunday evening. They ( and your charming attitude) help me gather my strength for the week ahead. All the best!
Love the Tuscany Rose pattern. You find the most beautiful items while at the thrift store. You are so calm, inspiring, and thoughtful. Thanks for sharing your journey.
Susan, this hit me in the ❤ heart! I'm crying so hard because this touched my SOUL. You are truly a special Spirit and a Gift to those of us who have found you and your channel. Love ya, KIMBER(Your Austin, Texas Sister in Beauty) 🤗 😘 🥰 👄 💖 👄 P.S. I LOVE the antique German plate you found. What a GORGEOUS piece!
Hello Susan!! So happy to hear that you found more of your favorite plates at the thrift store!! They’re beautiful & match your style perfectly!! You always find amazing things!! Have a safe & blessed week!! Look forward to your next video!! Blessings to you and & Desi& your family!!😍😍😍😍
I think signs are in the eyes of the beholder. You beheld the beauty in that woman’s smile, when other people may have only seen a wheelchair. The love and kindness are part of your vibration, so of course you picked up a kindred spirit’s vibe. 😊 I love all the colors and patterns on your table and I kept hitting the screen to go 10 seconds back so that I could watch Desi looking with wonder from one plate to the next! So precious! Once I had a patient (I was an RN) who was becoming discouraged while waiting for a heart transplant. I told him that every heart he missed out on, just got him closer to the heart that would be his. He brightened up when he realized the truth of it, and believe it or not, an offer came for him that very afternoon. So I say to you, Susan, every house you miss out on is just bringing you closer to the house that will eventually be yours. And Desi’s. 🌹
Hi Susan 🥰 it’s great to see you love 💕 your sense of humor. You are definitely right, when I go into the thrift shop it’s like opening up a treasure box you never know what your going to find. 😃 I get so excited, and you’re right if your not a thrifter you just won’t understand. I like all of your findings I I’ve always said you have great thrift shops in your area. I definitely enjoyed this video, I love ❤️ going shopping with you. Please give Desi a hug and kiss 💋 for me, his bow tie is adorable and you be safe. ♥️♥️
Yes the lady was a sign, a sign that we all need as a people . Love and kindness, gratitude, peace, joy, hope... I get so upset and angry at myself at times not realizing what I have and have had to allow me another day. My son recently said to me after I was feeling sorry for myself..."Mom, do you see tanks going down your street?" That's all he had to say to have me feel remorse and disgust for myself . I snapped out of it and apologized to the heaven and myself . (PS...I wish I could find a thrift store so packed with beautiful pieces!) 🇺🇦
Hi Sassy, That was a fun video to watch and you looked so happy! Those dishes were a real find. I mentioned in the past that we don’t have many thrift shops around by me and the couple we do have I never seem to find anything good in them. What we do have a lot of in the Spring and Fall are garage sales. When I see a garage sale sign it always seems to call my name and my car turns in that direction. I have better luck there. Enjoy your goodies and have a great week. See you soon… Hugs, Dolores 🥰
I liked that you found happiness and remembered ,to be Thankful for all you have . That made me happy and reflect on how very grateful I am. Have a beautiful week, smiling with yoy❤🙏✝️
My favorite thing you got was that glowing smile on your face! The excitement of finding treasures you didn’t know you’d find that day!! I love everything you chose!! ♥️
I love to go thrift shopping with you. Your stores in Michigan have the most amazing things! I love the Tuscany dishes. Are you still going to open your Etsy or eBay shop with your thrift finds? I sure hope so! When the time is right the perfect house for you and Desi will come along and you will be so grateful that the others fell through. See you next week!
Im a Brazilian lady. the life hasn't been easy for me but anyway I'm happy to be alive after everything i went through. I'm so grateful for the two children that I have they are my strength my everything. I just want to tell you. That you are my inspiration sometimes you make me crying but the next moment you encourage ❤ and make smile and read to move on. Im sorry for my poor English im still learning.I love to thrift
Susan - I love the dishes you found, but even better was your joy at finding them. That's what thrifting is about for me - finding a treasure that warms our heart or brings a memory to us; and even finding something (or someone) who takes us out of ourselves and gives us an appreciation for others. I so enjoy your videos!
I loved everything, but most of all, the thrift store itself! What great items and such low prices. I wish that I could find a thrift store like the ones you have. Don't worry about the house...your apartment is so lovely and inviting. I especially love the scenic view. You could make a cardboard house look elegant, Lol!
Hello Susan, Love seeing Desi sitting at the table. He's so adorable and such impeccable manners. I too love the water colors, and all art. I buy what speaks to me, makes me smile, So you shop and get what speaks to you. You have a lovely apartment, and it reflects you well. I truly loved that beach picture. Let us see where you hang it.
I love to thrift and imagine the stories behind the pieces. I mostly just look and every once in a while add a piece. I love love the bowl, but the best find, you left with a renewed sense of the wonderful person you are. See you next week.
Your thrifting videos always make me happy, and more often than not, giggle as well. We can learn such valuable lessons from those around us can't we? By the way...did Desi ever eat thar little strip of meat? He sat like such a gentleman...lol.
Susan, I always look forward to your videos. You have such profound thoughts. But today's was so wonderful, it brought me to tears. Thank you and Desi for your weekly bright spot ❤ I loved the vintage art deco bracelet, the little shoes and the German china.
As I'm watching the fun times your having at the salvation army stores. The wedding dress spoke to me. The diamond 💎 came close. But things changed. Not enough of me was willing to venture out for risks. Looking at your beautiful dining table now. Good to see you tonight. Thanks Susan and Desi.
Those were some beautiful plates. That was a great deal on the Tuscany Rose plates, and the mugs, and the pasta bowl. Desi is ready to dine. I love the watercolor. I paint and beaches and the ocean are my favorite subject. I don’t like these bidding wars for homes, seems very unfair.
Thankyou for sharing your special thrift store adventure with us. Especially enjoyed your encounter with those 2 ladies. So heartwarming. We all need to remind ourselves of our blessings and how fortunate we are. Its easy to get caught up in what we do not have. Better to embrace all that we do have. Those little encounters sure put everything in perspective...keep sharing the Love... Love you and Desi 💕
Those were beautiful items. I particularly loved the colorful dishes. Seeing these lovely things made me happy and sad. I bought Noritake dishes when my husband and l were married back in '67. I have been a widow for 15 years. In the last three months l have lost two of my four cats so l am a little bit broken. Your doggie is adorable. I love your place. The painting with the children playing by the water is poignant. For a very short while l was able to feel a simple joy. Thank you.
What a beautiful thing to say Jenny....I think there is a glamor to a single woman and her littlehome full of treasures.....how kind of you to say you liked my dish! xxo Happy new week!!!
I absolutely love thrifting with you!!! So much fun! Your plates!! ~ Belinda 🌺🌺🌺 PS: I love the story about the lady in the wheelchair! It truly moved me to enjoy the present moment. I’m also going to look for a small hand painted china plate for my night table.
Susan, i really enjoyed your enthusiasm for your day at the thrift store, I so love the picture of the children in the water, I love how Desi is so Adorable when he looks at you , And how poised he was at the table. I feel he is the ultimate joy Of your everyday life 🌹 Mary Canada 🇨🇦
I absolutely loved your video today. I'm not sure what I like the best of your treasures! I do like the picture of the lady in a frame, I think it was $8.00. How sad. I bet her life was interesting and happy. Do you think we will end up in a thrift store someday? I hope someone says, " She looks like she had a marvellous life filled with the usual stuff, good times, a childhood to remember, surrounded by beautiful strong women, a husband or two that added spice to her journey, sprinkled with a baby or more, and dogs along the way". Keep making your adventures weekly! I'm a bit older than you, I'll be 72 in the summer. I'm hoping to stumble over a man who can put up with me soon!! Is that possible?! Take care of yourself and you pooch whose name I can't spell. Vicky in Canada 🇨🇦
Oh Vicky....reading your observations was like reading F Scott Fitzgerald. I think if I end up with my picture in a thrift store I hope desi is in the picture too...I hope somebody takes us home and says...I just couldn't leave them there!!! Love to you!!! Sues & Dez
@@LittlePoet I hope I am around at that time I should would take you and desi picture home with me,God bless the lady and you Susan and desi and I did love everything and you apartment to.and maybe the reason you can't buy a house right now maybe someone in the building need you very much.
Your trips to the thrift stores are my favorite. You make it so meaningful. God was speaking to you thru His Word on the plaques, Max Lucado book and confirmed it all with the beautiful lady in the wheel chair carrying the other two signs. It doesn't get any better then that, He has His Eye on you. I'm so glad you got the dishes and found them even cheaper and how I love the way you display your treasures, so feminine and light and happy. Your home will come at the right time for you and Desi and in the right place. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and ideas
U r right. Thrifting is an adventure each time u walk in a thrift store. U never know what’s behind those doors. And what joy when u discover something special. And the joy itself costs u nothing. Play and sing for us more often Susan. Would love to hear u.
Oh Susan this video made me cry. I wish we had thrift stores like you have. Ours are very small charity shops with not a great deal in them. I decided to things for me for a change. My 4 children are all grown up and doing their own things and my husband had his 6 long year on/off affair. So I am now renting a beautiful 2 bedroom detached traditional stone cottage which has a lovely courtyard and is in a quiet village. I'd sold about 90% of my possessions so I'm starting again with pre loved furniture. So my dear Susan, never give up on your dream of having your very own place because it will happen. 💕
What joy you spread Susan and Desi. Thank you!! I felt I was out there thrifting with you. It's the thrill of the hunt and you just never know what you will find!! Treasure hunting I call it. I absolutely loved your story about the lady in the wheelchair joyfully trying on hats and then buying the other two plaques, with the words Love and Kindness. Wow - a sign if ever. You found some great treasures which I hope will bring you and Desi untold joy. Cheers and keep chatting to us!!

The best things in life are free and you experienced that from the woman in the wheelchair. What a moment, what a lesson.
Good evening Susan! Yes, we all have so much to be thankful for even in the midst of our trials and tribulations! You’re in my prayers to find a house for yourself and Desi. May God bless you! Hugs and kisses to little Desi! 💕😘🐶
Yes, we are blessed. Sometimes we need to be reminded of how blessed we truly are. 😁
Yes we are! ALRIGHT!!!!! Happy weekend to you and yours! Love, Susan & Desi
The dishes are beautiful and that you got them for half off, so cool!! Seeing Desi at the table, goodness he is precious!!
my mantra is "I am enough.. I have enough" AMEN
I love your enthusiasm! It's so inspiring. Have a beautiful week, Susan.
Love Desi sitting at the table waiting to dine 😁
I do hope you will be able to get your little dream home…you never know what’s around the corner.
I think the BEST find was the spirit you found in the girl in the wheelchair. Very touching.
Thank you for sharing Susan. So happy for you finding your Tuscan Rose plates. ❤️
Hello Teddi C ! Thank you so much for leaving me such a lovely comment...it means the world to me. xxo Susan and Desi
I’m a hand painted collector too! Love the haul! Enjoyed the break, thank you. 💕
Thank you so much!!!
Love to see your adventures today. I appreciate your sensitive spirit that sees beauty in people and things that many of us miss.
I agree, I love the hunt for the treasures! Vintage/Thrift shops are my very favorite. ❤
Darling Desi at the table looks like he wants to shout "where's the food!" Was the calendar with Desi ever offered for sale? I dreamed about it the other night -- women were fighting over the calendar because there was only a few for sale. Ha
You scored big time on the stretch bracelet. I'm an auctioneer and appraiser and vintage costume jewelry is a specialty of mine. It looks like bakelite. If so, it would probably bring $80 to $150 at auction. If jewelry comes back as crazy as prices were 3 yrs ago it could go way over that. If it's signed
triple these numbers.
I love your Mother...such wise words and it brings us on a path to true happiness...
Count your blessings was my Mums favourite daily saying too!! I try to keep to that thought every day. God bless! 🌟🌟🌟
Love ya, KIMBER(Your Austin, Texas Sister in Beauty) 🤗 😘 🥰 👄 💖 👄
P.S. I LOVE the antique German plate you found. What a GORGEOUS piece!
Susan your spirit, kindness and gentleness are so refreshing. Love you, Desi and your channel ❤️❤️❤️
I will be 60 at the beginning of next year and you Madam are a blessing!!!🙏🌍
Hello Susan!! So happy to hear that you found more of your favorite plates at the thrift store!! They’re beautiful & match your style perfectly!! You always find amazing things!! Have a safe & blessed week!! Look forward to your next video!! Blessings to you and & Desi& your family!!😍😍😍😍
I think signs are in the eyes of the beholder. You beheld the beauty in that woman’s smile, when other people may have only seen a wheelchair. The love and kindness are part of your vibration, so of course you picked up a kindred spirit’s vibe. 😊
I love all the colors and patterns on your table and I kept hitting the screen to go 10 seconds back so that I could watch Desi looking with wonder from one plate to the next!
My son recently said to me after I was feeling sorry for myself..."Mom, do you see tanks going down your street?"
That's all he had to say to have me feel remorse and disgust for myself .
I snapped out of it and apologized to the heaven and myself .
(PS...I wish I could find a thrift store so packed with beautiful pieces!)
🇺🇦
You always manage to find such treasures in your thrift store hauls! I loved everything! I hope you and Desi have a fantastic week! -xoxo
There are no coincidences... it was to be... a gentle, kind and loving spirit touched each of you... God Bless
Hugs and kisses to you and Desi! I loved everything you purchased.
I love the beautiful bowl. Yes, it was a sign that the beautiful lady had the other two plaques. You have an unspoken connection to her forever.
Yes! Thank you!Happy weekend to you and yours! You are so sweet!! Love, Susan & Desi
The world needs more kindness.
I Loved everything you bought, and especially the Italian bowl!!! Love to you and Desi. ❤
I have started thrifting recently. I enjoy my time there. My favorite purchase was your painting. Sweet, calm and loving💙
Desi sitting at the table, be still my heart! Love the energy of this video.
Yes, I think it was a sign! It’s all about love and kindness and putting our life into perspective.
Those are his little treats that I buy him...no raw hide and he loves them!!!
You make my day watching you. Please remember we all love you and need your videos. You are a special person.
Susan, I always look forward to your videos. You have such profound thoughts. But today's was so wonderful, it brought me to tears. Thank you and Desi for your weekly bright spot ❤ I loved the vintage art deco bracelet, the little shoes and the German china.
Thank you so much Lisa!!! You touch my heart! I hope your new week is a great one! Susan & Desi xxoo
Loved seeing Desi at the table waiting to be served. Great video & plates find!!
Thank God for you and Desi! Weekly you both inspire me to keep sparkling.
You made me tear up. Yes we need to be grateful, we are very blessed. Love you Susan.
Your story about the smiling laughing woman with her sister brought me to tears, it was beautiful ❤️
I don't know why seeing Desi makes me SO HAPPY! I love the plates that you found. What a great shopping day. Sending you love and blessings
Oh Judy!!! I didn't know you painted!!!!
Thank you.
Sending you love and hugs Heidi form me and Desi...how are you?
My favourite was the pearls on the plate. Just made me think of luxury and elegance and how a woman on her own can still have a beautiful life.
What a beautiful thing to say Jenny....I think there is a glamor to a single woman and her littlehome full of treasures.....how kind of you to say you liked my dish! xxo Happy new week!!!
Susan, I’m so happy going to the thrift shops with you, it made me want to get in my car and go…but it’s late and all the stores are closed. Lol
Your story about the two ladies made me cry like a big baby. Thank you for sharing
Susan, i really enjoyed your enthusiasm for your day at the thrift store,
I so love the picture of the children in the water,
I love how Desi is so Adorable when he looks at you ,
And how poised he was at the table. I feel he is the ultimate joy
Of your everyday life 🌹
Mary Canada 🇨🇦
I wait for you to tell us the wonderful stories you put time and thought into.
Thank you for the compliment!
Love to see and hear your wonderful videos. Have a good week!
U r right. Thrifting is an adventure each time u walk in a thrift store. U never know what’s behind those doors. And what joy when u discover something special. And the joy itself costs u nothing.
Play and sing for us more often Susan. Would love to hear u.
You have such a good eye, should help design for a living. I wish my stores had such beautiful things but truly I just find junk.❤️
I loved all the little shoes! 🥰
