Thank you for sharing your experience of Bea’s story, I am an artist myself , have never thought about how my artwork may someday effect a person in the future, when I leave this earth.
Thank you Loretta for being here...I think I was unaware of what a profound effect we can have in touching people's lives when we are no longer on earth. This has made a huge impression on me...so many of us lead lives at times of uncertainty....questions like, do I matter? Will anybody remembers me 100 years from now? All this energy and effort I put out....did it help? did I ease somebody's pain? ...And now I realize....we keep on doing good way beyond our years on earth. And it also reminded me that I have a lot of time to get this right!!! xxoo Sues & Dez
Hi Susie from Annie. Thank you for this lovely touching video. The story of Bea the older lady she died couple days after her husband that is awesome, they really had a love tie. It is so good you tracked her place down and to find it is where you grew up nearby that school and church, I thought you should have gone inside the church. I think you need to go back there and learn more she is calling you to do something maybe to track down her daughter...and the fact that her son died when you dear man did at about the same time seems they were the same age and maybe very similar in many ways? Please do go back and try to track her daughter as the lady Bea only had those two children from what I gather she did have them with first husband who mistreated her and them. But she never had any children with second husband her true teenage love. It is a shame she never got with him sooner they maybe would have had children together? It is a real spiritual calling for you getting this painting and tracking her down. Please go back and re trace your steps again and find out more and find that girl she maybe had problems and took off she may have had drink or drug problems so search those places for her too, Her past abuse may be effected her she maybe does not know that Bea and her brother had passed etc. Weird things happen at op shops a while ago I found in local op shop a basket I had made in craft classes at primary school when I was 9yrs old and it still had my name on it in strong ink I used back then as I am 63yrs old now, so it was made ages ago. But I was over the moon to find this well made and still well preserved basket I made a few in the craft classes back then it was lots of fun then. I love op shops did mention last week got a bag of 13 tops for $5. Oh it made me so happy.
This is my favorite of your videos yet! I'm a 74 yr. old artist. Only now do I appreciate what happened 2 yrs. ago when a man who had "scored" a painting of mine at a yard sale. He hunted me down & finally found my art on FINE ART AMERICA's website where my art is sold. He e-mailed me through them & asked me to call him. I did & told him all about the materials, etc. I had used in this mixed media painting. He seemed so thrilled to learn all about the painting & my inspiration for it. I'm glad I was still alive but happy to know I, like Bea, will live on, in a way, past our years on this earth. Thank you for sharing this touching story.
By the way, I'm writing this on Mother's Day. I'm not a mom (except for my fur babies) & felt there'll be no one to remember me when I'm gone. After this store, I no longer feel that way. I will enjoy THIS mother's day for a change!
Hi to you and Desi, not sure how many men are moved by watching your videos, but I am proud to say that I am one of them. Your a very beautiful woman inside and out, love how you decorate and speak about matters of the heart, with a world full of so many frauds, I believe you are one of the most genuine people I've ever had the honor to be invited to listen to your story. Thank you for sharing your special story of Bea, as you merged present day into your past, heck, I was crying I'm not ashamed to say right along with you. Memories of people and places that make up who we are, keep us going and moving forward, so we can do those people that we lost proud. I just wanted to reach out and say, please don't stop making your heart warming videos, I very much look forward to each and every one of them as you share just how beautiful life can be, even to a sometimes jaded retired 63 year old truck driver. Thank you, and God bless you and Desi.
I can feel your emotion as you speak of Bea, trust me Susan this wasn’t a coincidence that you found her painting, it was meant to be found by you. What a beautiful story of Bea and her husbands love, maybe you found the painting so you could share it with your viewers, the church bells ringing, your grade school right near the church, I really believe Bea was with you that afternoon… This was my FAVORITE video, I love your thrifting videos, but this one was special Enjoy your watercolor, and the Jazz paintings are amazing too. Happy Mothers Day🌸🌹🌸
You touch my heart Christine...thank you for your words...this was a very special week....I loved Bea and I never met her...my love to you...xo Susan....& Dez
Your connecting with Bea’s past gave me goosebumps! It was no coincidence that you were the one who found that picture and reconnected with your past also. Definitely a lot of signs that you are loved and watched over. What a Mother’s Day gift!
Susan this by far was the BEST video ever. You are so talented in many ways and I look forward to seeing you and Desi each week. The story of Bea brought tears to my eyes and she is so happy that you have her painting. Happy Mother’s Day!
Lovely story and wonderful for Bea to be remembered. I too found a large painting of a black dog on a sandy beach. I fell in love with it! I went home and looked up his name and he too had passed away. I think it was in his obituary that it mentioned a love for his dog. I absolutely treasure it and I know he'd be happy his painting fell into the hands of someone who cherishes his work. Lovely story! ❤️
Susan, You are a stunning example of an empath. Your talents are many and your audience loves how you deliver your stories with panache! The vase with pinecones stole my heart. I remember finding a pair of McCoy candlesticks with the pinecones. I couldn't afford them as the owner explained they were the real deal, McCoy! Then he went on to tell me some vases look like the real deal, however imitations. The imitations were created for floral shops to keep the price reasonable. I have a lovely collection. Bea's smile was so bright in heaven, it made the sunshine bright that day. Thank you for always making me smile!
What a beautiful story, what a beautiful painting. Bea found a sensitive soul when you were attracted to her painting and guided you to make the journey to her church. The bells rang out in recognition of your visit for sure Susan as did the sun shine. I suppose you have to have an open heart to hear and appreciate this and not everybody has, but you have. It was karma. What a love story it was and how sad about her son just dying last year. Sometimes in life special things happen to us and this was truly a moment for you. Thank you for sharing this wonderful story. Jazz paintings are great and Desi loving life as usual. God bless 🌸
I do not believe in coincidences. You were meant to find that beautiful painting and bring her story to light. You did an amazing job! You told her story with great dignity and respect. The bells rang for you in appreciation. Well done you!
I came away with the message from Bea to remember and enjoy the little things in life. As I have gotten older I realize it’s not the things in our life that is important but rather the people around us we love. Her beautiful picture was of irises in nature that grow freely, not things. It is an important message for all of us to remember and live by.
I cried tears of joy that you were the one to find her beautiful painting! You appreciated her painting so much as to find where she lived and made the effort to learn about her life. You both are true romantics about life and love and art! I believe you were meant to connect that special day when you found her painting! I'm so glad it was you! Thank you so much for sharing this special story with us! Much love, Elaine from Salem, Ohio
Bea brought you home to your childhood! You experienced your little girl on that field 🤗 before life got to busy! You connected with your inter child!🙏🌻🌺⚘🌼
I, too, am an artist and this story brought tears to my eyes. How very touching. I am 81 years old now and I truly hope one (or more) of my paintings will touch a stranger the way Beatrice's did you. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful experience with us.
Oh Kathrine!!! Your words mean so much to me! I am 100% positive your work will live on...and it's amazing how you found your way to this video! Bea inspired me to look beyond today and paint/film/sing/write.... for tomorrow...:) xxoo Love to you!!! Sues & Desi
Susan your a very feeling person! When I hear your stories and life journey and your relationship with your Mom (you really look alike). Sometimes when your telling us something I can imagine your Mom standing there listening (rolling her eye's) and saying " oh Susan your so dramatic!" Never change! Take good Care, David & Timmy🇨🇦
Good evening Susan! Thank you for being here with this beautiful story about Bea Zuppa! I see her as an angel who came to you just when you needed one through her painting and the information you discovered about her life. It touches my heart, too. It’s emotional and happy at the same time. We must carry on with our voices! Love to you and Desi! Happy Mother’s Day! 💕🙏🏻
I absolutely love the Jazz paintings. I love this video. Im a ( Thrifter). Love going to different thrift stores. I love your videos Susan. So happy 😊 i found your channel. You bring a little piece of happiness to everyone you and Desi. Moving on down the Road. 🎈
This was an amazing story about you and Bea. Yes, its was magical you at the school yard next to Bea's church. The bells ringing, the sun shining. You were meant to have her painting because you would appreciate it. Those irises are in my garden. My mom, who recently passed, gave me irises from her yard. I told her I will look at all the flowers she gave me and it will remind me of her. ❤❤❤
I just have to tell you that you and all that you bring through your channel just brings me so much joy and richness. Our tastes are very much a like in decorating styles and esthetics as well. This video in particular touched my heart. The story of this incredible woman was so amazing, and I actually found myself in tears. I think perhaps this is one of those "God Wink" moments - something so very special that it can only be touched by the hand of God. That gorgeous painting is something that you will now treasure forever. Truly amazing. I can't thank you enough for all the precious and special treasures that you bring to us through your videos. I am a 68-year-old woman, married to my hubby for almost 50 years. We were never able to have children and we married when he first started his career in the US Navy, and then retiring after almost 30 years of service. We live a simple, humble happy life. I adore thrifting and unearthing hidden treasures that have stories to tell from a secret past. It is always the thrill of the hunt! Thank you again for all that you do. I appreciate you so very much.
I love seeing all of the treasures you find in thrift stores. Your story about Bea is so touching. Imagine how you brought her and her art back to life by featuring her on your channel? It's wonderful!
I loved Bea's story and how you found her painting, researched her life and truly felt her presence. You will think of her every time you see her lovely painting. And you look especially nice in that blue top.
Thinking quietly this morning.❤ When I asked God "why did you take my husband Jim away from me? " The response was " Ask Me why I sent him to you. " There is a reason and a purpose for everything and everyone that comes onto our life. You Susan are one of my special people walking with me ❤ You have blessed me in more ways that i can list. God has blessed you abundantly ❤ there is no such thing as coincidence. It's God's Divine Plan. ❤
Adore the Jazz piece! ♥️ I cried when watching this video... I miss my son's, but they've cut me off .. Your channel made me smile, and with determination and hope, I'll get it together, and show up for myself- Thanks for your kindness, and sharing your vintage treasures! Love the incredible stories behind the vistas of other lives that have passed on, like Beatrice... Hugs my friend! ♥️
Hi Cindi, I am touched reading what you wrote in the comments. Tomorrow will be Mother’s Day and I will be alone, I bought a small bouquet of flowers for myself to celebrate the day! I will not hear from my son because we have been strangers to each other for over a month when I moved to a new home without him in April, but in reality, we have been strangers for years at heart via his own choosing. I am sad but also excited to start a new life. My goal is to make new friends and find people that’s worthy of me. I love Little Poet, her channel brings me joy. I am glad we are in her little wonderful community here! Happy Mother’s Day!! Chantelle from California
Happy Mother's Day, Susan dear. My Mother loved this quote: "I shall pass through this world but once. Any good therefore, that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it know. Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again." Our legacy is to create a little bit of heaven on 🌎. Sometimes that's painting a mural, visiting an Elder or babysitting for a worn out Mother. Or walking a neighbor's dog 🐕 while they have to go in the hospital. Pulling weeds in a neighbor's parkway, if permitted, when they hurt their back. Just feeding the birds or leaving a thank you note 📝. Little blessings mean a lot.
This made me cry, how touching your tribute, your discovery of the painting, and the playground. She brought you back to a joyful place you spent time at in your childhood. The memories were tapped again, and the innocence of youth.
Hi Susan. Getting that watercolor painting from Bea was meant for you to find. That is amazing that the church bells chimed twice and that the Church was across your grade school and it was her Church. That is a sign from God. Take Care.
You are such a kindred sprit Susan, and so was Bea, just look at the paths you both followed on this earth, for decades! .... Im glad you found this painting meant for you. xx.
You were meant to be the guardian of that beautiful painting that Bea painted. I just know it. I cherish your sweet stories and look forward to spending some time every Saturday evening with you! Thank you so much for just being you!❤
I love the stories when 2 people are separated by circumstances and they then find each other years later. Hers was a beautiful love story. Bea was an awesome lady who was so talented. Love your Jazz paintings. Pretty blue blouse. Hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day.
Hi Susan:). Just seeing this video now 10/29/23 and the whole event was a what I call a miracle. Just like when you were reunited with Cooper! That was a miracle-no other explanation. Those bells ringing and the sun after days of dreary weather ~not a coincidence-but a spiritual happening. What I find amazing is no matter what treasures you find~you always have the perfect place for them! It’s like you have unlimited space where I could never envision it! Those jazz paintings were meant for you as well and again they have a perfect home with a very special woman. Something else that gave me goosebumps is my grandfather’s name was Joseph Moore-he had a brother William. My grandmother’s name was Kathryn Louise-different spelling but still it shocked me…. Love to you and Desi❤️🤗❤️🤗❤️🤗
Oh Susan..... first off you look so striking in that shade of blue! I truly believe that you are an empath. You were led to that painting for a reason. Things like that just don't happen. You have a gift that reaches out to people to make them feel better .... to bring joy & peace. You have a relaxing aura around you. A gentle spirit. I'm sure Bea led you to where you went. She wanted you to have her painting because she knows that you will take care of it. That note on the back is for you. She knows you will appreciate it & take care of it. She painted it for you. 💗
Your videos give me hope and inspiration to start over with gratefulness ... and for reminding me I have NOT LOST EVERYTHING... my beautiful daughter and so many friends that all ❤️ and support me! I will rebuild!!!
A lovely painting by Bea. I’m so happy you have it. It is in a loving, happy place. It was meant for you to have it. What a magical moment with the church bells. She was a gifted painter. Love the notes of care she attached. Wish you all the best Susan 🌸
Bea knows your good heart and she wanted you to share the message she maybe never got too. Your a special lady to me and I feel that it was a sign to find your video’s. I’m an artist that lost her confidence a long time ago and I have gotten back to my art. I hope the voice I leave behind will be good and heard by many. Very nice to be getting to know you! God bless and thank you for the share. Thank you Bea!
Hi Kathy!!! That was a very special time to find Bea's work and her note! I tracked her down as you know...but I swear, when I heard those bells ring I could not stop crying...I truly felt so deeply I was meant to be there and try to figure out what she wanted to say...Her painting is in my kitchen here and I hear from artists worldwide becasue they stumbled upon this video and Bea's story...and they tell me they better understand why they have to paint...and to me, that is everything!!!! Much love to you!!! Susan & Desi
Dear Susan, thank you for sharing Bea's life story with us. So sweet & lovely. I understand the urge for your tears. Precious. Your top is a great color on you! Looks Like cornflower blue.😘
I have a rather large gisele print of piano bar, the one with both the man and woman. It hangs behind my bar and I just love it. There really isn’t anything like jazz nights and yessssss dressed up. I’ve often said that I was born in the wrong time period. These 20’s are just not as romantic as the previous century. Why you cried….. okay this is sappy but here goes. There’s an expression “ you can never go home again “. I think that about sums it up the best. Ten years ago we moved a thousand miles away to a place where we knew no one. The first trip back “home “, I cried and cried. So many feelings that run deep from childhood. This was the sweetest thrift trip and I pray that there will be many, many more. Happy Mother’s Day. I thanked my son when he called me for making me a mom. It all started on that magical day.
What a beautiful story & video. I don't know what message Bea was trying to give you but I do believe her spirit was there with you. Just everything fit together for a very sweet & personal experience. I am so glad it was YOU who found Bea's painting. It's obvious how much you love it and how much it means to you. God does work in mysterious ways....and maybe one day you will figure out what made YOU be the one to have this experience. Love your jazz finds....absolutely perfect for you.
Happy Mother’s Day Susan! I was thinking about the painting and wondering how long that painting had been at the thrift store and no one chose it to take it home, one day you step into the thrift store see it and take it home, that painting was meant for you. That was a beautiful story, it brought me to tears.
I truly believe Bea sent you a sign how touched she was, everything happened in sync and how very special you were to be at the right place at the right time, the power of Believing make Amazing things happen, Blessed you are, and Desi for having each other……
You have mastered the art of living in the moment. It’s inspiring to those of us looking over our shoulder and charging forward with plans that would make God laugh.
Loved Bea's story, but really, really resonated with you finding such joy and meaning in Bea and her story. I also resonated with your feelings of pure joy as you heard the church bells and savored the beauty and memories in that moment. The deeper we go into ourselves, and the more we search for meaning and purpose, the more we open up to those true moments of bliss. I really relate to you and am so glad I recently found your videos.
Beautiful story about Bea. You have brought her to life for many. The painting is awesome. It is so meaningful to tell her story. You have made her special to us.The Greek Orthodox Church says on death of our love ones- May her memory be eternal. You have helped to make her memory eternal.
I love to eat in watercolors top myself no paint not eat bring me such joy and pleasure I truly appreciation bees painting I don’t know how your videos keep getting better and better but you really a special lady you are a joy to listen to a joy to watch does it just tickles my heart you make my week you wonderful wonderful woman
Bea would be thrilled to know that her painting found a home with someone who had compassion, love and the foresight, to see and feel the same inspiration, as she , while painting this work of beauty. Your insight and interpretation of the painting and the creator, added life to her legacy.... Love and Blessings To You And Desi.
Nostalgia in its purest form... is earth shattering... I believe you experienced that and truly saw it for what it was. Your path crossing Bea's path... most assuredly. You were on sacred ground with Bea.... you were there, and possibly she was there... but Susan, the very minute fact that you embraced the moments... walking where she may have walked, hearing the church bells ringing as she may have heard them, and all the thoughts and emotions running through you... that my Dear... is hauntingly sublime. A story to be remembered. Susan, you are just the most beautiful soul I have come across in a very long time. God bless you richly and deeply... Hugs to you and Desi... Penny Sue
Every day I treasure a visit from you and precious Desi. Whatever shows up on my UA-cam feed I watch even if I've seen them before. Everyone is a joy especially the thrift shop escapades. I have one special thrift shop that has helped me pretty much fill my house with incredible finds. Please please don't feed Desi those dog biscuits or kibble....so dangerous. Love you both.
I almost didn't watch this week. We lost our beloved 18 year old dog Zorro Thursday with no warning. I know I told you his story in your firsts video. I'm broken 💔 and I know in time that will subside into happy memories. RIP Zorro. 3/12/2004 to 5/5/2022. Your story today did lift my heart and Desi did too. Thank you for that. Have a wonderful Mothers Day. We have postponed our 4 generation celebration for a few weeks. There are 5 generations of us. My Aunts live in Toledo and one in North Carolina. My mother passes when I was 5 years old.
Bea Is a spiritual sister reaching out to you. I’m sure you and her were like twins in a past life! What a blessing that you found her painting. What a beautiful story, has me in tears!
Hello Little Poet, I'm a widow of almost 4 months now. My husband had Alzeheimers and Covid at the end. I watched you everyday while locked down with him and still do! You were my link to the world. I decided to start my own utube channel and just reached 1000 subscribers in a month. Thank you Dear heart for always being on the tube for me!
I was so touched by Bea's story because it resembles my own. My 6th grade love & I were separated the following year by circumstances beyond our control to be reunited 20 yrs later. We've now been married 23 years! I'm a true believer in 2nd chances!! And I'm an artist too!
I loved Bea's story! And how you took the time to find her and honour her life💕 It's was meant for you to be the one that found her painting someone who really appreciates it and gets it!💞⚘💞
What I took from this experience there are Angels among us. The Holy Spirit leads us to things. You are an open vessel for this. And Your life tells a story and we are walking with you. It is a joy! We go each day and pay no attention to these things and you have come alive . Thank you for sharing. It has taught me today to be more thankful. I am for taking you as a friend every week. Joyce
I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. This video hit a home run in my heart. I can not tell you how wonderful you are sharing your life with us. Because of finding your videos my life has changed, you and your videos helped give me hope when I had nothing left but tears. I bought a new home, it’s in my name and it was $33,000. It needs work, but it’s mine. It has a small yard, and I have a new rose bush to be planted as soon as I get rid of the poison ivy! This video, is a blessing, because I will always look at my new little home as something to cherish and to pass on when I’m gone. I want to leave the next owner with a treasure full of love and hope. When my race is ran and I am laid to rest, I’m going to leave my little house to someone who needs love, kindness, and hope. God Bless you and thank you.
I do see the artistry of Beatrice and you. Even though I know I have talent I don't see it as something to be honored years from now. Yet I will always love and respect your art. Thank you for being there for us and I pray one day I will return to my art to be shared with someone. Blessings
Dearest Susan, I felt I was with you as you shopped and walked down memory lane❤️. You might consider adding your story to the back side of Bea's painting. For now, it is part of the legacy and love carried through the ages. Thank you, cherished friend🥰
Oh that small tray with lady in the hat, the hands ... is so GORGEOUS!!! I am so happy you got that. I fell in love with it when you first picked up. It must be handcrafted and is a wonderful find. I love your scores in the thrift stores. It is fun to shiop with you! That Jazz print looks like it was made for your space. How wonderful that you gave a home to Bea's beautiful watercolor. Thank you for sharing her story. Such tears of joy, healing and love you shed in memory of Bea! Blessings.
Chills!!! What a spectacular find and moment for you! I love creating and I’m sure Bea did too. I so believe we are all connected…past and present. Love never dies…it lives on and that painting still holds a part of Bea’s soul. How can we even put it into words? I just know from experiences I’ve had that love finds a way to let us know we are not alone. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful story. ♥️♥️♥️
Isn’t it fun when you find a treasure at a thrift store that speaks to you? I love, love savers thrift store.😀 It is one of my favorite place to go. I call it my simple pleasure.💕 What a beautiful story you shared.
What a beautiful story, yes, I had tears while you were explaining. I believe you were meant to find that painting. I believe it spoke to you just the way it should have. Sometimes, I believe, we need to take a few steps back before moving forward to understand the message that we didn't get the first time. Move forward in love. I found you this week and I gotta say your stories have spoken to me, big time! So thank you. Thank you for being the voice for so many who are silent. Hugs to you ❤
I loved this video! The story of Bea and her beautiful picture and the church bells ringing... Oh my! That was definitely Bea speaking to you and thanking you for making her feel so special and loving her artwork the way you do. Oh how I love that story Susan. You are a woman with so much love inside of you. You have one of the best channels on UA-cam and you can tell a story so beautifully I only wish I were as talented. I would love to have a channel but I live a boring life and I can't tell a story but I feel so lonely most of the time. I take care of my mom and don't work. I'm living like I've never lived before and it makes me feel so inadequate. I'm 65 with no destination. How sad. But I love listening to you tell your stories because you are the one positive shining star I love to see every week. God Bless you for being a lovely sweet woman. And keep telling your stories because I love them so much. Give Desi a kiss and hug he's adorable. Did he get his name from Desi Arnaz? Anyway it's a cute name! 🐾❤️ Much Love to you ~ xoxo
Thank you for understanding...here in my new city I look at Bea's woater color and feel she would approve!! And I feel it is a sweet reminder to keep creating...keep moving forward! Love to you!!
I love the story of Beatrice and I love her name. I think she was guiding you to your school and had you hear the church bells to say hello to you and also to tell you to keep the faith and that God loves you. I'm sure Beatrice is glad you have her painting, it's really pretty.
What a beautiful story! I think Bea was a reflection of all the women here who are a part of your channel. We all have a story and you were the perfect person to share hers💐
I think life is like a jigsaw puzzle. You sort out the pieces, put together straight ones, and try to figure out the others. It looks like you can't even figure out what the picture is with all the blank spots. But slowly it comes together and more is revealed and you can finally see it! Then it's time to start a new puzzle.
I love to go thrifting, I find treasure in items from the past and have discovered joy in bringing them into my home 🏡 to brighten my days! Beatrice painted with much love and when you found her art it sparked that love in you - her art is a gift to you, her spirit lives on 👏💕enjoy the beautiful flowers, the walk down memory lane, the sound of the church bells reminding all of us how blessed we really are! Sending love, light and many blessings!🙂
I know, I know instinctively ‘exactly’ what you are feeling & experiencing . We are somewhat empathic towards others in life & in death . Absolutely signs, deep signs from Bea that most w hold fluff over & never experience the deep layers and textures of all the details we ‘absorb’ . I just cherish your soul because you are the real deal and like me….. you wear your heart on your sleeve, not scared to share it with perfect strangers who are willing to listen .
Hello Sandie!!! Well to be honest I came very close to not uploading this video....I didn't want to upset my friends here by being so emotional on the ballfield...but in the end it felt like a " moment" for us here...I have no idea why....at the last minute I came home and clicked " GO PUBLIC". Life passes us by so quickly...for me sometimes a camera lens can put things in slow motion and I can feel the beat of my own life and more importantly, the beat of others in transition and pain...and now, in joy. Love to you!!! xxoo Sues
Wow. You are blessed, and You are gifted in so many ways. Your new life has drawn you to such adventures...lives lived in past times are greatly spoken through your beautiful freedom. Thank you for sharing such a breath of joy.
Wow! That is an amazing story. There really is something to this. It was like a strange womans art brought you back to the very park you played in as a child. Wow! I'd be in tears too. You couldn't make this stuff up if you tried. What an amazing experience. Wow! Renee from Southern California
I happened upon your channel for the first time today. This was the first video I watched. So moving! Like you, I don't believe in accidents...and truly believe Bea's spirit searched you out the day you bought her painting. Thank you for sharing this with the world!
Nothing is a coincidence. Maybe Bill and Bea’s son wanted you to know something. I think Bea chose you to have her painting because she knew you would explore. What an amazing story. ❤️
You must know the gift you have...you have the eyes to see, the spirit to recognize, the heart to share...the serendipity in life that's always offered to us if we just are open to it. And you have the creative tools to bring it to all of us...your friends. I know I speak for so many of us who follow you & feel like kindred spirits. Thank you for sharing Bee's story...& of course...yours.
I always look forward to your video's each week. It's my days of rest and I love thrifting. You bring it to a whole new level which I absolutely love. You are such an inspiration. Bea's story really touched my heart. My mom's name was Bea and she was loved by all. But one thing you said was so profound to me..... Realize that what we create will be your voice and maybe why we become more creative as we become older is because we care more about what we leave behind. Wow! This is so true in my life right now. I can't take any credit to myself though. When I think on these words it brings to thought my total and true surrender to the Lord more then any other time in my life. I am a Healing and Deliverance minister for the Lord. But at this point in my life as I am getting older (turning 70 at the end of the month) I am ministering on an international level now to others. Your words rang so true to my spirit here today. I know what you meant because every day I look at what the Lord is doing through my life to touch others and that is so important. There is nothing I would rather be doing then to be a part of this ministry with Him to help hurting people be free once again to laugh and be happy in their lives. And as we grow older your so right about caring more about what we leave behind. Thank you so much for being you, Susan. Your channel is always a place I can visit that makes me laugh and enjoy the little things in life, like thrifting, treasure hunts, decorating our homes, and all the deep thoughts you bring about things so many of us sometimes overlook. This is your gift to the world. You make us smile and enjoy and appreciate all those things. Today because of your gift you brought us the story of Bea. I believe it drew all of us into a moment of knowing her and one day we will meet her. I am sure she is still painting, can you imagine the paintings she is doing now? Thank you Susan and God bless you abundantly. Happy Mother's Day!
Beautiful video my friend. Truly. I often see the world the same way you do at 68 now. Signs.. messages.. and things that are meant to be…. Or not. That one has helped me many many times lately to unload a burden. I am a sensitive soul, and I feel everything “ must” have meaning these days. That could be big.. or small. This was a very special day for your sensitive soul, and a beautiful connection and energy from the universe. Thank u for sharing ❤️
What a beautiful story! There are no coincidences. This was meant to be. I am obsessed with my past and my childhood. Beatrice was part of the best generation, my Mothers' generation. It is very sad to see that generation pass on. I miss them so much!
Hi Susan, looking gorgeous as ever...💕 Goddess bless you and Bee. What a blessing that you found her painting and she chose you to tell a bit of her story. What an honor. What a message that she brought to you and through you 🙏 I too love those beautiful trays by the way... And I just wanted to say that once upon a time I also had a wonderful jazz night to go to. Currently I live in the High Mountain Desert of the Rocky mountains, nothing but dust, no dressing up, no jazz nights. But the day for me (or night) will come again. Don't take a single moment for granted, always breathe It All in and enjoy! 🌺💞🌺
God bless you ! I just adore you and pup 🐾♥️Choosing to walk a spiritual path provides an opportunity to live life with an open heart. ❤️and just wait and see what happens ❤️
Wonderful to see you....love the delicate tray. It's so great to hear your beautiful soothing voice. You are so kind and loved by so many. Blessings to you from Debbie and Dexter-Dog her precious rescued Chihuahua companion living a quiet crafty life in southern California.🙏👍🏄🏡🚴🌻🌲💐🐎🐄🐤🐦🐰💝😄
Truly a beautiful Mother's Day gift, moment, and connection from artist to artist, person to person, and mom to mom:). God lined those wisp of blessings up together in such a beautiful way for you to experience the joy of the miracle that Blessed your heart and soul. That is magical:)! The story you shared is amazing Susan...Wow!! Thank you for sharing that message:)🌼🌼🌼🙏🙏🙏
A Mother's Day gift of connectedness. How wonderful to have been touched by Bea's sweet soul ; gifted and uplifted by beauty of shared art. The bells confirm and validate the unspoken side of lives that become joined in a way that was & is needed , I believe. Faith is an unfathomable, powerful thing, so it is not surprising that the bells rang almost as if a spoken message. I'll think about this video for who knows how long. The power of Bea sharing her story to you and through you, to all of we who follow and treasure your matchless videos that speak to so many of we ladies..... Blessings to Bea and may you continue to be blessed , Susan. Hugs (virtual...) to precious 🐾Desi 🐾💙
….it is what we leave behind, that tells our story. You walked in my shoes this week. Tears, rain, sunshine, ducks, geese, memorial trees planted at a botanical garden for my niece and mother in law, who died in 2021. Very, very emotion filled week. And, lots of bells ringing, while I entered and left the botanical garden. Oh, yes, thrifting a soft surroundings top, a Trish MacEvoy cosmetics planner, so much fun. I love your videos and look forward to every Saturday night. Thank you.
Hello and Happy Mother's day! I'm sitting and hand quilting while I watch your UA-cam video. Thank you for posting this! Sending hugs and my best wishes to you!
So true! What we create is left for generations to come. What an amazing story Susan. I don’t believe in accidents either. I have been crying all week right with you. All week I have been thinking about how blessed I am to have had incredible people in my life. Many of them are gone now, but the impact they had on my life lives on. Love you Susan. Happy Mother’s Day!❤️
Hello beautiful you!!! You are such an angel to me Laura!!! Always reminding me to not be afraid!!! To have no boundaries.....you will leave a mark and a beautiful one indeed!!!
Hi Susie from Annie again I forgot to say please talk to the priest from that church.
Hi from Annie again, my gut says you must try to track her daughter what if that turned out that her daughter was you or some one you know?
Hi from Annie again those church bells chiming were calling you to go in there do so please.
I started crying when I read " find your passion, raise your voice!" I am going to start painting again after 30 years!
OH MY GOODNESS!!!! This makes me so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@LittlePoet yay!!!!
I hope you are enjoying painting again ❤️ Please let us know about your paintings - what are the themes?
Of all the people in the world Bea chose you to remember her and that she was here. Kindred spirits ❤️
A Very Happy Mother's Day!!!! xxo Love & Hugs, Susan & Desi

Thank you for you my friend god bless
Bless your loving heart to step up and share your feelings as a man. Thank you for showing us women your kind soul and your strength as a man!!
I can feel your emotion as you speak of Bea, trust me Susan this wasn’t a coincidence that you found her painting, it was meant to be found by you. What a beautiful story of Bea and her husbands love, maybe you found the painting so you could share it with your viewers, the church bells ringing, your grade school right near the church, I really believe Bea was with you that afternoon…
This was my FAVORITE video, I love your thrifting videos, but this one was special
Enjoy your watercolor, and the Jazz paintings are amazing too.
Happy Mothers Day🌸🌹🌸
You touch my heart Christine...thank you for your words...this was a very special week....I loved Bea and I never met her...my love to you...xo Susan....& Dez
Do not stop being so transparent and genuine. It is your strength!
Your connecting with Bea’s past gave me goosebumps! It was no coincidence that you were the one who found that picture and reconnected with your past also. Definitely a lot of signs that you are loved and watched over. What a Mother’s Day gift!
Thank you so much for saying that!!! A Very Happy Mother's Day Jan!!!! xxo Love & Hugs, Susan & Desi
Susan this by far was the BEST video ever. You are so talented in many ways and I look forward to seeing you and Desi each week. The story of Bea brought tears to my eyes and she is so happy that you have her painting. Happy Mother’s Day!
OH Donna thank you for your sweet words!!! It means the world to me!!
Donna I agree, wonderful.
Susan,
You are a stunning example of an empath.
God bless 🌸
OH my, how oyu touched my heart...xxo thank you, Jacqueline! A very HAppy Mother's Day!!! xo Susan & Dez
I do not believe in coincidences.
You were meant to find that beautiful painting and bring her story to light.
You did an amazing job!
You told her story with great dignity and respect. The bells rang for you in appreciation.
Well done you!
I came away with the message from Bea to remember and enjoy the
little things in life. As I have gotten older I realize it’s not the things in our life that is important but rather the people around us we love.
Her beautiful picture was of irises in nature that grow freely, not things. It is an important message for all of us to remember and live by.
Thank you so much for being here!!!! Happy Mother's Day, xxo Susan & Desi
@@LittlePoet you make my day friend
God bless

What a beautiful story Susan, I could feel Bea's soul singing with joy that her art work found such a beautiful person to be with!
Thinking quietly this morning.❤
When I asked God "why did you take my husband Jim away from me? "
The response was " Ask Me why I sent him to you. "
There is a reason and a purpose for everything and everyone that comes onto our life. You Susan are one of my special people walking with me ❤
You have blessed me in more ways that i can list.
Hi Cindi,
I am touched reading what you wrote in the comments.

My love to you Cindy! I will say a prayer for you and your family....I just know things will work out. My love to you, Susan & Desi
Do you know who wrote that quote. It is my mantra. Wish we all could be a little more like this..
@@nanci6134
Nanci, the quote is by Stephen Grellet.,an American Quaker missionary. His story is interesting. Happy Mother's Day.
A Very Happy Mother's Day Terri!!!! xxo Love & Hugs, Susan & Desi
Happy MOTHER’S Day🌺☀️❤️ Have a Wonderful WEEKEND!
She knew you were the one to cherish this painting .this was emotional the story of their love .glad the painting is with you x
Your art in storytelling of your beautiful finds in life leave a legacy of love to continue the joys of life. Thank you for your magic.
RIP Beatrice. Wow, what an extraordinary event. You were chosen for that moment. Beautiful.
Thank you carol so much...you are so beautiful and wise and I feel so lucky I get to call you a friend!!! HAPPY new week!!!
That is beautiful Tom...
Thank you so much 😀You are wonderful!!!
This story reminded me that life period is not a coincidence and it should be lived & loved to the fullest💜
Where can we find you here maybe we can help you grow too
I was so touched by Bea's story because it resembles my own. My 6th grade love & I were separated the following year by circumstances beyond our control to be reunited 20 yrs later. We've now been married 23 years!
I'm a true believer in 2nd chances!! And I'm an artist too!
That is amazing!!!! I cherish her painting!
Joyce
Happy Mother's Day! xo Susan & Dez
Happy Mother’s Day my dear beautiful sistren.💐♥️🙏🏽.
Beautiful findings! Thank you for sharing my friend, have a fantastic weekend stay connected 💕🌺
Isn’t it fun when you find a treasure at a thrift store that speaks to you? I love, love savers thrift store.😀 It is one of my favorite place to go. I call it my simple pleasure.💕
What a beautiful story you shared.
Much Love to you ~
xoxo
Thank you for understanding...here in my new city I look at Bea's woater color and feel she would approve!! And I feel it is a sweet reminder to keep creating...keep moving forward! Love to you!!
I love the story of Beatrice and I love her name. I think she was guiding you to your school and had you hear the church bells to say hello to you and also to tell you to keep the faith and that God loves you. I'm sure Beatrice is glad you have her painting, it's really pretty.
This was a beautiful and touching video. Her message to you could be to never give up on love, art and creativity. You are a special soul.
Love to you!!! xxoo Sues
How profound! I hope my legacy is one of love, joy, peace, patience, and grace.
Thankyou for sharing your beautiful moment with Bea ,it was a truly spiritual time ,2 souls connecting.🙏x
Wow. You are blessed, and You are gifted in so many ways. Your new life has drawn you to such adventures...lives lived in past times are greatly spoken through your beautiful freedom. Thank you for sharing such a breath of joy.
That BLUE is beautiful on you. You need to wear more of that color‼️‼️
Wow! That is an amazing story. There really is something to this. It was like a strange womans art brought you back to the very park you played in as a child. Wow! I'd be in tears too. You couldn't make this stuff up if you tried.
What an amazing experience. Wow!
Renee from Southern California
Thank you Renee!!!! I love you!!!
I feel just like that Linda...it's not "my" channel....it's "our" channel...and our lives...and our chance to love and learn from each other...!!!!
What a beautiful tribute to Be. And it’s so wonderful that you honored her in this special way. I can see why you did. Much love, ❤
Beautifully told magical story that reached deeply into my heart and enriched my soul! Thank you for sharing your tremendous grace and sensitivity.
You are so welcome and thank you for lifting me up and being so kind Kaitlin!!
Beautiful video my friend. Truly.
I often see the world the same way you do at 68 now.
Signs.. messages.. and things that are meant to be….
Or not. That one has helped me many many times lately to unload a burden. I am a sensitive soul, and
I feel everything “ must” have meaning these days.
That could be big.. or small.
This was a very special day for your sensitive soul, and a beautiful connection and energy from the universe.
Thank u for sharing ❤️
I am praying Eileen your dreams will come true.....I know they will!
What a beautiful story! There are no coincidences. This was meant to be. I am obsessed with my past and my childhood. Beatrice was part of the best generation, my Mothers' generation. It is very sad to see that generation pass on. I miss them so much!
You are so kind to be here...thank you so much!!! I hope your new week is fantastic!!! xxoo Susan & Desi
I think you touched eternity! We are never gone but present and waiting to meet in time! ❤️
Hi Susan, looking gorgeous as ever...💕 Goddess bless you and Bee. What a blessing that you found her painting and she chose you to tell a bit of her story. What an honor. What a message that she brought to you and through you 🙏
I too love those beautiful trays by the way...
Loved your blue top. Really brightened your face. I too lové trays.
A very Happy Mother's Day!!! xo Susan & Dez
Thank you.
A very Happy Mother's Day!!! xo Susan & Dez
@@LittlePoet I hope that you had a great Mother’s Day as well!
Hello and Happy Mother's day! I'm sitting and hand quilting while I watch your UA-cam video. Thank you for posting this! Sending hugs and my best wishes to you!
What an amazing story. Hello Miss Bertrice ! She was there with you guiding you. You touched my heart ♥️
