  • The video talks about the quad maps in the corneal tomography. Corneal tomography by the pentacam has four maps: axial curvature maps, pachymetry maps, anterior elevation maps, posterior elevation maps. the anterior curvature map gives the radius of the curvature in diopters , the anterior elevation and the posterior elevation map talks about the curvature of the cornea based on the reference surface. These reference surfaces the best fit sphere and the best fit toric ellipsoid .The pachymetry map is also very important which gives information about the thickness of the cornea and its profile. the video also mentions about the BAD
