thank u very much as a kerakatonus patient your video is very help me basic understanding. please if u can explain me what is the pachymetery map and what is its purpose thanks
really well made presentation, wanted to ask what value difference in corresponding points on the both pachymetery and the saggital map must there be for you to say there is asymetric thinning or steepening? thank you
In reply to your question if there is a inferior / superior asymmetry of more than 2D btwn 5 points taken in corresponding points both in the superior n inferior zones then it points towards ectasia in pachy any point below 470 is suspicious
In a case of post myopic LASIK , the cornea will be oblate with flatness in the centre corresponding to the ablation zone and relative steepness surrounding it. In hyperopic LASIK , it is the inverse , that is flattening in the periphery and steepness in the centre hyperprolate cornea.
You are class respected ma'am...what we couldn't learn in a yr you taught us in just 20 mints... massive respect and love from Pakistan

What are the findings in corneal topography in a post refractive surgery patient??
In a case of post myopic LASIK , the cornea will be oblate with flatness in the centre corresponding to the ablation zone and relative steepness surrounding it. In hyperopic LASIK , it is the inverse , that is flattening in the periphery and steepness in the centre hyperprolate cornea.
