Dude your content is so chill. Keep it up. I put VR back in the closet about a year ago and nothing has really prompted me to dust it off and hang it back up again. I'm just so disappointed in general with the overall quality plagueing almost every VR title out there. It's good to see you getting some content out, it makes me wanna join the fun you seem to be having.
Thanks! Yeah PCVR has been a little underwhelming lately. This year we're possibly getting LOW-FI and Tin Hearts. I've been looking forward to both of those for years. I'm really excited for them. Fingers crossed! 😀
Maybe look into some older flat screen titles that later on got VR support either officially or via mod. But I'm basically at the same spot as you. Haven't touched my headset in a year, but I've never gotten proper VR legs anyways, because I just didn't spend enough time in VR. Watching Bens videos, however, makes me feel like I'm not missing out on the good stuff at least. 🤘
been watching your stuff for a long time now and I'd appreciate your input. I've been running the OG Vive since it first launched, finally got enough spare funds to buy a new kit, what would you suggest? I've been wanting the Index for a long time but not sure if it's also getting on a bit now, should I watch for the sequel to the index or is there anything new on the market that I should look at instead? Thanks.
Yeah, it's kind of tricky timing right now for suggestions because while I still love the Index (especially the controllers). There's a chance that an update from Valve is coming, but I have no idea when that would be. I still love the Index and use it a lot. And the times that I have needed hardware support from valve for fixes or replacements the support has been really good. Another wild card is the Bigscreen Beyond headset! I don't have access to any review units and so I haven't tried it myself but that seems like it could be a really awesome upgrade as well. Especially if you already have the base stations. I suggest waiting for more reviews and customer impressions from the Bigscreen Beyond. And if you think that's not for you, then I would still recommend the Valve Index. 😁
@Ben Plays VR awesome thanks, I was going to grab the index controllers for my vive a while back but decided to hold off because I wanted the index headset so much that I figured I'd save for it and just grab the kit with the 2.0 base stations too. It didn't happen lol. I know there's rumours about the index successor so maybe I'll hold out for news on that and grab the index if (when) I get impatient. Thanks for the info Bigscreen Beyond too, I'll certainly check it out.
It's like someone has taken the formula from "papers, please!" (take a seemingly boring job into a game by adding time limit and story and impose more and more complicated rules) into VR. I I realize this comparison is not on point (for example its missing the moral choice aspect) but since I enjoyed "papers, please" I might find this enjoyable.
Perfect timing. I skipped to 30 minutes in, so as to see gameplay and not spoil too much, saw the mean spirited Leftist stab, and decided I don't need to buy this game. Money saved! Eat me, Pinko.
Is it just me or does anyone else hate this idea that all games must be super meta and woke nowdays? Like the games looks polished but im cringing so much lisening to dialog and seeing "the funny" troll or the name of the game is immedietly putting me off?

Aha! 😁
Production value looks high on this one
Lol when the worlds greatest troll came out Ben goes silent…*internal monologue* ….nope not with a 10 foot pole…this channel doesn’t do politics!
😉
looks interesting

Someone did or is doing that I think. I seem to remember having a demo for a "papers please" like vr game with robots instead of people
Such an interesting game!
Is bonelab still worth it on 2023 with it mod support? And multiplayer mod?
Personally, I don’t think there’s been enough modding to make it interesting. 😁
lol, Jungle, that's clever.
"delivering dreams", such an obvious allusion😅

Gotta say, being talked at and led around in a video game -- sucks.
the position you are, looks uncomfortable af
That’s funny, I’m just sitting 😂
