The pass at 2:09 is ELITE and just shows the man's power. Idt Drew could throw that ball with that velocity at his current age now that's he's up there.
Comparing this to Carr. Man I wish we would have stuck with Hill. Mind you Taysom hasn’t played QB in a LONG time he looks amazing. Looked better than Carr. Give him a solid season and this guy would settle in. Too bad saints went away from Hill as QB.
I think Dalton was brought in to backup Winston and to push Hill into the tightend room. When we put Book on the practice squad that pretty much designated Hill as QB #3. If we can keep Hill and possibly trade Winston I wouldn't mind seeing Dalton as his backup. The question is who do we get for the QB #3 position ? If we draft a rookie quarterback it will take a few seasons before we will know if he is going to make the cut. I think letting Book get away was a waste of time. We basically trained him for another team.
Hill makes the saints more difficult to defend against. Hill just needs to understand that NFL defenders are the best of the best. They don't just tackle. They are experts at Punching the ball out or tackle at the biceps and slide down putting weight on the ball. He must be prepared to keep a hold of the ball. That ball is treasure. Must protect it from these elite defenders. Otherwise the saints seem to up their game when he is behind center. The whole team plays better when Hill is in the game
so very sad that nayone with a pen and a website tends to dismiss him as a gadget player and a joke even. Don't even watch the NFL network, as they are totally sold on #2....the long knives even came out for Drew when he thought about returning, most likely in jest
1:51 Bottom of the screen. I was screaming when he didn’t throw that to Kamara Oluokon was in trail technique once Kamara breaks out Easy missed tackle & big gain. Possibly even a TD.
Taysom’s 3 starts: 54-76 (71%) 2 TD 1 INT
176yds rushing 4 TD
Wow
WHO DAT! 🏈
Who dat. For sure.
Hill just warming up. He has a legend as a mentor in my opinion.
Not bad for a qb/rb/fb/wr/te/pr/kr...🤣
@@psx1986 bruh 💀
tayson hill is a good qb the best we have, give time in the offseason an hell be the starter.
My heart was beating over 300 bpm at the end of this game.
when he fumbled on that last drive my heart dropped
Taysom Hill is a hall of famer!

I love how he doesn't toss the ball out of bounds when his reads fail. He just hauls ass. Always finds a hole somewhere.
The saints back with these heart attack games
Man some of those passes were like laser beams.
This was Taysoms best game but the fumbling needs to be fixed
Dude does not have a fumbling problem dude literally has only had 4 - 5 fumbles his entire time with the saints lmfao
Taysom a dawg.
Taysom has been great for us! He's not Drew, but he's done what we have asked out of him.
Absolutely love him

Brees said it himself
Michael Thomas made me happy
That 4th quarter showed Payton cares too much about stats, trying to get Hill another passing TD.
Deadass bruh
I think it had more to do with trying to get the points.
no, we were about to punch in another td and taysom decided to fumble instead of throwing it away or taking a sack. sean payton cant control that
@@morethanmeetstheeye0 how about Payton run the ball when your up 21 -6 in the Redzone. Eat up more clock, Hill is to blame also though.
@@TheJayblaze3 the playcall was on payton but the fumble is on taysom, atleast take the sack and run clock. low iq in the moment
I wonder if the Packers regret their decision to let him go?
So glad they dumped Hill for Dalton. I mean games like this just show how the saints made the right decision by do ditching Hill. 🙄

Hill never got a real chance at qb but in a way its good because hes so much more.
guy looks like he can throw to me....2 scores in this game, one in coverage. How does a DC prepare with the HIll package with 2x2 spread?? no answer
i will trust him if he stops fumbling. and i need him to pass well vs a good defense, then i'll be invested
Hes better than lamar
The real saints after drew 😆?
