Who keeps saying Drew Brees doesn't have a big arm needs to watch his highlights. Someone said 54 yards in the air was his longest. Well I just watched 30 min highlights and many times he threw it 60 yards in the air. And 40 yard bullets all over his highlights. He had a better arm than we are saying.
The most accurate QB of our time and it’s not close. Even more impressive considering his lack of weapons in NO. He is THE textbook QB in all facets of the game on and off the field. My first NFL game as a child was Saints vs Broncos where my Broncos won on a last second missed field goal. Safe to say I was hooked after that.
We were spoiled with him for so long. He made our Saints perennial threats instead of the doormat. I was there since Day 1 as a kid, and will always love our Brees era!
One thing about Drew was that he usually broke meaningful records with TDs at home, so there was no problem for awkward stopping of games for celebrations.

ALSO BREES FAKED TOE INJURY SO HE COULD SET UP A GO FUND ME AND BAMBOOZLE MONEY FROM HIS FANS SO HE COULD BUY A MOTORIZED CART AND THE HE GOES OUT AND RUNS PEOPLE OVER WITH HIS CART.
This is coming from a Raider fan, he was the best!
I was a fan of Drew Brees even when he was in San Diego and even as a Broncos fan and rival, I still saw greatness. My dad especially loved Brees, would marvel at the way he threw the deep ball as accurately as he did. Thanks for one helluva career Drew and it was sad to see you go.
can't believe he's gone, saint forever
Drew you saved Nola. Louisiana loves you forever. Thanks for everything.
The Chargers really had Drew Brees, Ladanian Tomlinson, and Antonio Gates...........
If they wouldn’t drafted Rivers they coulda got Fitzgerald and rivaled the pats dynasty
Front office was too massed up. Too many power struggles between gm and head coach, plus schottenheimer’s playoff record. 06 was their year but they made too many mistakes against the patriots
@@breesybird9207 Brees was very underwhelming and turned it "on" after they drafted rivers
@@breesybird9207 lol that is a bit of a stretch
@@mikebarnes7441 I don’t think so because that offense woulda been insane with Brees a first ballot HOF and top 5 QB ever, LT a first ballot HOF, Antonio Gates a first ballot HOF, and Fitz a first ballot HOF and top 5 WR ever. That offense would be unstoppable
i’m a pats fan. i’m sad to see him go after only 3 games of him and tom in the nfc. would’ve loved to see more of that rivalry
Especially since Brees I believe is the only QB with a winning record against Brady with 3 or more games played against each other. That shoulder injury he suffered in 2005 really killed 2-3 years we could’ve had of that rivalry in a shared division.
If this didnt bring tears to your eyes
What a hell of a career
THE LEGENDARY DREW BREES
Very nice vid! Brees was a human highlight reel. The Saints put so much talent around him, any receiver who could get open was a star when Drew was on the field. Drew, you made the game better. Nice work in putting together this compilation sir.
It’s still hard to believe that Colston was never given more recognition! What a fantastic player!
The whole state of Louisiana loves Drew Brees. I hope he realizes he can be mayor of New Orleans at the drop of a hat. He brings a special element to the games he commentates on now. His commentary has helped me to understand football even more. He Will always be a New Orleans legend for forever, and a good example of a good human being off the field. What a class act. I wish him and his family nothing but the best.
He’s so underrated but yet one of the best to play at QB
with brees retiring, the last of my childhood QBs is Brady😓
Rodgers? Big R@pe?
Ben
Nd he not retiring until he about 75
Same and im a saints fan lol when brady goes it's really gonna be depressing
What about Arron Rodgers?
Even if you aren’t a saints fan you just can’t dislike this man I’m sad to see him go even as a giants fan
Respect 💯
Champion 🏆
Legend ✊
My hats off to u Mr.Brees. Thanks for the memories. 👏👏👏
Sincerely, A Bucs fan since Aug.1995
One of best EVER! Glad I got to watch him
Great QB! Great Boilermaker! Outstanding human being! Congrats on a terrific career.
screw screw brees + almost all purdue athletics members
Brees is arguably the GOAT
Best quarterback ever throw the ball
IMO, the greatest passer I ever watched personally. For him to have 4 5,000 yard passing seasons is insane. IMO, he is the greatest player in Saints history.
And in history
Greatest qb to ever play the game.
Facts
Fact. Enuff sed
One of the best to ever do it. One of the top 3 qbs of all time.
“Hard works beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.”
Absolute privilege seeing you play from a Bills fan
Man the chargers went from Drew Brees to Philip Rivers. Can’t get any better than that. I wonder if NFL Throwback is gonna make an ultimate career highlights for Philip Rivers? Amazing career Drew Brees, you will be missed
Montana to Young, Favre to Rodgers
Back to back SB winning QBs
A warrior through and through. I’m glad he got his ring and brought a championship to the city of New Orleans when they needed it most. There are somethings that are above rivalry.
wow! i wached every snap. its mind boggling really. guys foot work location, and pretty much every kind of pass is there. incredible.
Hero’s are remembered but legends never die - babe ruth.
to drew brees you are an awesome man u are a legend it was great watching you but only for a few years, my dad is lucky got to watch you since 2005 man ur the best man! have a good life.
As a life long saints fan, thanks Drew for long amazing career filled with jaw dropping & heart stopping plays. You will always will be remembered in the heart of saints fans!!! You are a saints for life! Thank you for all you have done for the saints & the organization. You helped changed the saints culture. Thanks Drew for ever grateful for you as a saints fan! #9 ⚜💪🏽🔥💯
Drew Brees is my guy the legend the greatest of all time!!!!!!!!
There is something about Drew that makes you like him as a player much respect to a great 🙌🙌👏🍾✊
Miss watching Brees man. Such an under appreciated player
Who keeps saying Drew Brees doesn't have a big arm needs to watch his highlights. Someone said 54 yards in the air was his longest. Well I just watched 30 min highlights and many times he threw it 60 yards in the air. And 40 yard bullets all over his highlights. He had a better arm than we are saying.
i cried watching this. if you’re not from back home it won’t hit how it’s supposed to. we love you forever drew 🫵🏾🥹🤝🏾
Thanks Drew for all the memories, you helped my dad see a super bowl before he died
He is the Hurracane Drew, i´m feel sad that the new kids won´t see what a Hurracane looks like, i´m lucky to say he is my favorite player
Spread the ball so well, ridiculously accurate, crazy efficient and a franchise changer. First Ballot Hall of Famer.
what a legend. going miss watching brees in playoffs
Coming from a falcons fan I miss going against u Drew 💯💯💯enjoy that retirement my guy
Saints fan - I’ve put off watching these highlights for nearly 5 years now. Hurts my heart knowing he’ll never be my QB again. But there will never be another player who I love more than #9. Most underrated player in my lifetime. Who Dat!
I have been a die hard Saints fan since 1969 - and even though I loved Archie Manning as a kid, he never had any blocking & it was decades with some pretty bad QBs and TWO Billy Joes (I'm not kidding) but when we got Brees I was happy but had no idea he would become the Hall of Fame player he was & bring so many winning seasons to the Big Easy let alone that incredible Super Bowl win in 2009! Thanks for so many great memories, Drew! GEAUX SAINTS!
i'm watching this in 2023 amazing to go back in time...wow what a team...i was always a fan of colston and so many more...what can i say about Brees..one of the best qb's ever... in my words better than Brady... not only a great qb but a good person..always polite to other teams even if it was a saints loss... a truely man of respect and love for others.. the last game brought tears to my eyes... i wish he could have played longer but he had a lot of injuries... and his age.. but still seemes young to me...lol... so c'mon team of 23 lets get it together and makes some wins... i love saints and new orleans...
I’m so sad that I only got to watch him for 2 years. And the two years I was able to watch him he had injuries keeping him out for awhile. But I’m so glad I got to see something 😌
Fun fact:
Drew Bree’s played 20 seasons in 9 of those 20 season he had 15 or more ints. Still a great player but no one ever talks about that.
Also I don’t care about your opinion so you’ll waste your time replying to this.
We Love Drew Brees NFL Throwback
Great video!! Drew Breesy!!! My favorite QB
4:52 My favorite part of this video. You think he ain't mean that shit when he said that!? You could hear the sincerity and heart in that right there. And as a Saints fan I will always be grateful. Wish he coulda played a couple more years. Hall of Famer right there, first ballot. Brees will never be forgotten.
After the last couple years weve had since you retired, i miss you everyday ⚜️
2nd in yards, TDs, completed passes, attempts & 3rd in pro bowls by a QB. Made man and a first ballot Hall of Famer in 2026.
Miss watching him and manning, rivers now Ben and soon Brady and rodgers I’m gonna miss this era of qbs
Insane run. The grass is almost always green on the other side.
