Well he did basically the same thing to Texas the next year as well so that one. Also since I'm a BYU fan another recommendation is Jamaal Williams 286 yds and 5 tds vs Toledo in 2016.
Kyle VanNoy anything. There was a game when he caused a fumble and then recovered it in the endzone for a TD, had a pick six, and had sacks galore. I think it was against Oklahoma, but it may have been Boise St. Tremendous defensive performance.
I remember attending this game and sitting next to a Texas fan who said "looks like we've got some fresh meat to eat" when he saw that Taysom was only a sophomore. If only he would've know
This was such a fun game as a BYU fan. Cody Hoffman is one of BYU's all time great receivers. Jamaal Williams too. And Taysom Hill. Yes, the rest of the team was great too, and more than a dozen from this period went on to the NFL. Texas fired their Defensive coordinator immediately after this game. The entire rest of the staff was fired at the end of the season. The worst loss in Texas history. Thank you BYU.
Just so everyone knows this kid came from a small town in Idaho he graduated 3 years before I did he was amazing in high school and still is he is a HIGHLAND RAM!
That's like the Saints not letting Alvin Kamara run 1 more in to break the record for most rushing touchdowns in the game he got 6. Sean Peyton gave the last rushing touchdown to Taysom Hill, and I'm sure it had everything to do with contract bonuses
I had no idea how dominant he was in this game. I heard UT students talk about it, but now the seeing the highlights--so scary. At the end the Longhorn players were so shaken, they didn't want to even "shake" Taysom's hand after the game...
Best part is, he did literally the same thing to them the next season AT TEXAS. 41-7 win, Taysom rushes for 3 TD's and hurdles a defender. Dude had the Longhorns' number.
Man, I've watched this game all the way through multiple times and I never realized just how good a game Cody Hoffman had! I mean, Taysom rightly got most of the attention, but Cody balled out! He was a great one and I still think he should have had a better shot at the NFL.
I hope Taysom breaks one record. The most carrier "different kinds" of touchdowns. There are 9 possible (rushing, receiving, passing, interception, fumble recovery, block punt, blocked field goal, kickoff return, punt return). Deion Sanders holds the record with 6. And FYI, Taysom has 3 now which is the same as Deon also had after his 3rd year in the NFL.
Man he’s still the same powerful runner he was in college. But mad respect for him tho, he’s had a LOT of injuries, and yet, he has stay consistent in shape and unfazed
Maybe the same reason why the De La Sal running back didn't go for the rushing TD record in Californian history. But most likely because he tore his ACL the year before on an unnecessary play running the ball when he could have been taking a knee.
The color guy is right..I’d load the box and make him beat me with his arm This is the QB development that Sp was supposed to do in NO!!! Maybe he’ll do it next year in DEN If he’s gonna draft an inexperienced rookie, I’d stay in NO and cash in
27 yrs OLD playing Texas as a SR??? No wonder BYU not let into conference, all the older men and 25-26 yr old offensive lineman. BYU is exposed hiding behind Mormon Mission and players train for 4 years and come back. SAD...BYU EXPOSED.
The age difference is extremely exaggerated, if you did a head To head comparison, BYU would only come out a few months ahead on average with most teams and there are some teams out there who are older than BYU.
Which single-game performance would you like to see remembered next?
Harris Highlights Patrick mahomes vs oaklahoma
Well he did basically the same thing to Texas the next year as well so that one. Also since I'm a BYU fan another recommendation is Jamaal Williams 286 yds and 5 tds vs Toledo in 2016.
Harris Highlights Denard Robinson @ Notre Dame 2010. 244 pass yards 258 rush yards, 3 total TDs.
Colt McCoy @ Texas A&M 2009 304 pass yards 175 rush yards 5 total TDs
Dak Prescott @ Arkansas 2015 508 pass yards (552 total yards), 7 total TDs
Dak Prescott vs Kentucky 2015 348 pass yards 117 rush yards, 6 total TDs
Kyle VanNoy anything. There was a game when he caused a fumble and then recovered it in the endzone for a TD, had a pick six, and had sacks galore. I think it was against Oklahoma, but it may have been Boise St. Tremendous defensive performance.
Chris Shelling rips LSU a new asshole 1994. 3 picks, a fumble recovery, 8 tackles, and 2 TDs

Kyle Van Noy, super Patriot, was wearing #3 on this Cougar squad, he’s on screen in the aftergame footage.
He laid out a guy on special teams in minicamp the other day too, he's a beast!
TheKillermangomag watching hm in special teams is nasty
dude is made of glass
@@Magicmike57 No. All of the Browns are

3 rushing td's and 1 passing td and a fumble recovery, today for the Saints!
I know someone will come here and comment on that game!
Was vs the Seahawks?
Just so everyone knows this kid came from a small town in Idaho he graduated 3 years before I did he was amazing in high school and still is he is a HIGHLAND RAM!
This is my cousin. I grew up with his older brothers so I actually don't know him that well.
They couldn’t have gave him one more carry to break the record, come on man😭
That's like the Saints not letting Alvin Kamara run 1 more in to break the record for most rushing touchdowns in the game he got 6. Sean Peyton gave the last rushing touchdown to Taysom Hill, and I'm sure it had everything to do with contract bonuses
I was there, it was an incredible performance. After his 3rd season ending injury he was never the same. Hope he makes it with the Saints
I was there as well
AcT403 boy o boy did he make it.
Homie got paid.
Im hoping he brings the saints to the playoffs this year.
Well id say he made it alright he gets his first start tomorrow and man what I would give for him to do this to Atlanta lol
Even as a horns fan I root for this guy lol he shredded my horns

The most dominant qb rushing performance I've seen in my days. Love taysom.
His performance against Texas in 2014 was phenomenal too
The Texas players were snubbing him pretty hard after the game- show some class
You used Texas players and class in the same sentence! 😎😂😂😂😂😂
I didn’t see not one person snub him. They look like they lost but everybody shaking hands so I’m confused my guy
Class in Texas 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
they acted like he was a Sooner....
Those dudes will never forget that experience. Most football players are Christian. Real knows real at that level. They were disappointed 😔
I love saints now because I loved hill at byu so much.
Even Steve young says he was better than me.
Man, I've watched this game all the way through multiple times and I never realized just how good a game Cody Hoffman had! I mean, Taysom rightly got most of the attention, but Cody balled out! He was a great one and I still think he should have had a better shot at the NFL.
Good Lord willing...I'd love him to become the Saints starting qb when Brees decides to hang up his cleats. Love this dude!
your wish is granted

problem is he never gets snaps on defense. no doubt Taysom could play a little box zone safety
One of the most fun games I’ve ever been to 👌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Falcons witnessed this
Texas was back that year too
Lived in TX for 20 years just before these 2 games... it felt GOOD ...
Man he’s still the same powerful runner he was in college. But mad respect for him tho, he’s had a LOT of injuries, and yet, he has stay consistent in shape and unfazed
BYU’s offense was so nasty when they had Taysom Hill and Jamaal Williams
Possibly Saints Future qb
Ro tom savage ia the duture
JT Barret
Teddy Bridgewater
@@mxginnis7889 he left saints
@@theaveragejoe___ Yes Carolina bound the Vikings should have kept him he along with Thielen would have had a explosive passing attack.
We need this same effort this weekend.
Favorite football player to ever live
He's a gem for the Saints.
is this the kid sean payton thinks will be the future qb for the saints?
Mace Windu yes
Mace Windu funny to see you here
Steve young is in the building, Payton said.
Who dat nation who ready to see him play for us
Who dat!
I’ll keep watching this again and again on a bad day
Oh Hilly boy, the pipes the pipes are calling..from glen to glen..
2:57 " i can see his jock strap"?? wildin
He looks faster now.
If Taysom could learn to keep his eyes up and throw accurately on the run like Pat Mahomes, he would be unstoppable.
he needed 9 yards for the record, why didn't he go for it???
Maybe the same reason why the De La Sal running back didn't go for the rushing TD record in Californian history. But most likely because he tore his ACL the year before on an unnecessary play running the ball when he could have been taking a knee.
How TF are u gonna let a mormon bully u like that?(He still a beast)
Air Max 😂😂😂
💀💀💀
ok... this is kinda offensive
85 IQ.
but Steve Young is mormon tho and look how he was
Is the podcast coming back this season?
Yes it is!
Harris Highlights if that’s the case then will there be a season prediction anytime soon?
He's what Johnny Football Manziel was supposed to be in the NFL but he threw it all away for parties, women, and some clout smh
Fran Tarkenton only bigger&faster 6'2 220 4.40
I went to this game GO COUGARS
Sad that after this game injuries just killed his career
Maybe his BYU career, but hopefully not his Saints career
Ryan Shaffer Yeah they have him practicing kick and punt returns gotta be pretty healthy
Not Hachiman Hikigaya--- killed his career? He's with the saints, had 52 yds of rushing in half a game last week and plays on special teams too.
He jus scored a td in the nfl so idk how he ruined his career
Ruined his career ? he is the saints X factor and one the fans favorite most beloved players
Reminds me of the time Donavan mcnab came in to the big house and tricked my wolverines. Sometimes, a player is so great, there is no answer
dude is the Saints squat record holder, fun fact ❤
Where my saints fans at
I loved this game. It was when Mack Brown lost his job and Matthew McConnehy fell off of his Lincoln.
💩💩!
Damn Texas I was looking for some noise this year.
I want madden 19 just so I can have him
you can tell he was a huge eric crouch fan
Did they ever suggest him to switch to a receiver or running back?
Wishing Evil on USC because of this video 😈
So farve like , tru football player
This dude might not be Brees’ successor, but this man is a fucking monster on special teams.
Who’s here after he’s starting for the Saints?
🏃💨
The color guy is right..I’d load the box and make him beat me with his arm

LOL MACK BROWN
career ending... and the replacement coach strong - same deal the next year...
This game got Mack Brown fired.
yes
Had no idea he came from an Ivey league school
Who dat
Injuries ruined his career.
WalterM52. Career not ruined, he's on the Saints and doing great.
His college career was ruined though. He only had one full season, and that's it! Imagine the rushing yards he'd have if healthy the entire season.
WalterM529 Hopefully he can stay away from the injury bug, looks like he might have a promising future. He definitely has the ability.
Just killed the falcons
Khalil Tate breakout game
so basically tim tebow
He's a better passer then Tebow.
I think one of Tebow's best attributes was his leadership
Bruce Willis + !!
He’s much faster and more athletic, plus has a better throwning motion. He’s still really inaccurate.
a Lamar Jackson just waiting to be unleashed as a starting qb
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
He will absolutely be a Saints Hall of Famer
Byu got away with a ton of holding in this game
hentaiheaven?
This was tragic
Oh how BYU needs an athlete like Hill again. This offense this year was painful to watch. Painful!!!!!!!!!!!! I stopped watching. Fire A-Rod.
Nick Wright: this guy is not a qb, he’s a glorified gadget player only
27 yrs OLD playing Texas as a SR??? No wonder BYU not let into conference, all the older men and 25-26 yr old offensive lineman. BYU is exposed hiding behind Mormon Mission and players train for 4 years and come back. SAD...BYU EXPOSED.

Cares?
August 23, 1990 - birth. This was Sept 7 2013, so just barely 23. And actually he killed UT @ austin even worse the next year...
Glad he’s a Saint. Who Dat !!!
Better then cam
