@stuartday1330 They're not really, I guess. 2014 onwards there's a lot more crowd involvement. 2008-13 was like the crowd being either quiet or just there unless Cena was in the ring. I think the fans started to get seriously active from 2014 onwards, and when they got Bryan in the main event, that's when they called it Reality Era or whatever. I think the product was less PG from 2014 onwards. I'm just trying to explain WWE's stuff for them 😂
Jack saying Eric Bischoff takes his time with a basic heel promo, is basically how Bischoff says hi when he does his 83 Weeks podcast! Conrad: "How you doing Eric?" Eric: *Takes 25 minutes to say what probably take 3 at the most*
the best example of Eric waffling on is when Conrad asks him if he regrets not having a profit share on NWO merchandise. Eric must spend at least 10-15 minutes seemingly trying to convince himself that the money doesn't matter, even though it clearly does and he knows full well that he's missed out on millions.
Jack has struck gold with this series this is absolutely wonderful and by the time I got to the end I could not stop laughing props to Luke for the awesome editing as well that made it so much more fun. Keep up the great work guys
If you thought that was bad Jack, you should see one of the weirdest Thunders of the year 2000 (May 3, 2000) where Vince Russo enforces 'New York Rules', meaning that every match contains no rules, no referees and every wrestler has to count their own pinfall or submission. (By the way, this show takes place in Memphis, Tennesee.) Russo's 'New York Rules' produce a series of matches rife with interference that end in weird and confusing manners where neither the crowd nor commentators know what is going on. Six out of the seven undercard matches go shorter than 5 minutes. Then, the main event is a 41-person battle royal to decide the No.1 contender for the World title, which features an underwhelming final WCW appearance from Randy Savage. I've only seen a few matches from this episode and I already felt like I was losing my mind.
This series is already my favorite. Jack is so awkardly funny and Luke's edit job just powers that up. I could hear Jack telling stories from Sunderland or anything else with that delivery.
Luke has the best time with these. 🤣 I feel like we just watched Jack endure psychological torture. So,.of course I want you to do a Great American Bash episode!
Thank you Jack for taking us on this wonderful trip through some of the weirdest and wonderful wrestling and thank you Luke for the excellent and hilarious editing. Please do the great American Bash, I need to see this story continue.
WCW 1999-2001 was my very first introduction into wrestling and Jack you have completely encapsulated exactly how it felt back then and all these years later, I'd forgotten what all that frustration and disbelief felt like 😂 this series is brilliant and I can't wait for more! Love the editing on this too 😁.
I’ve never watched an episode of WCW, but going forward Im never going to, I just want Jack to review them all. One of my favourite videos for a while guys. Great work by Jack and Luke.
Anyone who makes the argument "Yeah WCW in 2000 was bad but have you seen WWE these days?" has never actually watched WCW in 2000. This is incomprehensibly terrible.
Great video, but a wee correction; Van Hammer was called Major Stash because he literally refused to be called Private Stash (despite it making perfect sense for his gimmick) because he didn't want to seem beneath his stablemates.
Jack, this is the best series you've ever been a part of. You and the editors are incredible and you can tell you're having so much fun doing it haha. Thank you! 😂❤️
Both times the Red Liquid™ missed, it was aiming for Kevin Nash. I'm 100% certain that he either flat out said he wasn't taking that "bump," or, and this is more likely, he was told exactly where to stand and purposely moved a few feet over.
I honestly cannot put into words how much I love this episode. The emotional roller coaster that Jack goes through is amazing. Plus Luke has done a great job editing this episode. I need more WCW episodes. I will now thank Jack and Luke for going though the pain of watching WCW
The thing with Ernest "The Cat" Miller making the ref call a count-out. If I recall correctly, at the start of the Bischoff/Russo era they announced either no count-outs or possibly just no DQs in general. So The Cat was forcing the ref to enforce a rule that he wasn't supposed to.
I’ve made it a point to watch each match from this Nitro before watching Jack’s take on on each match. Honestly, this show is insane and wild and entertaining. That’s it. It just wild crazy fun.
This series is fucking fantastic. Gives Jack such a good chance to shine, his cadence in these is just perfect and the editing is always on point. Keep up the great work lads
Jack's distain for Bischoff and Russo in this and the accompanying PPV episodes is hilarious, this series as a whole has made Jack one of my favorite presenters. 😄👍
I'll be honest, I thought it was gonna be the September 25th, 2000 episode of Nitro (the one where Russo won the title) but that episode has been brought up so many times before. Russo winning wasn't even the weirdest thing on that episode. Worth a look.
I'd have Russo as a boy. Just for the plain absurdness of his booking Give me the trainwreck insanity of WCW 2000 over the dull and grey WWE of 2022 anyday
Me and my friends were huge WCW fans back in the day. I remember changing the channel after seeing Eric and Vinny Ru were going to be opening the show. The guys I was with asked why I was changing it. I told them we can catch the first match on Raw, Eric and Vinny Ru won't say anything important, and by the time the match is done they will be done talking. Well, 2 out of three wasn't bad. By the time I flipped back to Nitro Eric and Vinny were STILL cutting their promo.
No wonder this episode took a long time to edit, there was a ridiculous amount of ridiculousness in this one. Late WCW sure was packed full with... stuff! Great job on this episode! I feel like anything from WCW in this era would be a great fit for this series so obviously I'm gonna wish for an episode on the Great American Bash!
Man… this is just opening old wounds. I had checked out at this point, completely switched over to WWF (Wrestlemania 2000 just came out for N64) but checked back in every so often and was disappointed every single time.
11:32 probably the best recreation of Billy Kidman I’ve ever heard. 😂 I watched this episode of nitro right after watching this video and I came back to this part once I heard Billy say the line. Jack’s recreation sounds more like Billy Kidman than Billy Kidman.
I absolutely love Jack, I already loved his What Happened At?, and now this series is just peak Jack. I have rewatched World Wrestling World Championship Wrestling Federation Championship World several times. 10000% well done, keep em coming!
After watching this video, I feel like we need a Great American Bash 2000 video just so we can see where the madness went after this episode. I need to know what happens next!
This was fantastic! Jack slowly slipping into insanity for us fans is just the best!
I think he's a fud.
WCW felt like it went through the attitude era, ruthless aggression era, pg era and modern era in less than 5 yrs
And they took all the worst parts of each era.
I agree but I think the PG era and the modern era are one in the same.
I'm just trying to explain WWE's stuff for them 😂
I can already feel this is going to be so funny. Jack shines in this series
lol
Jack saying Eric Bischoff takes his time with a basic heel promo, is basically how Bischoff says hi when he does his 83 Weeks podcast! Conrad: "How you doing Eric?" Eric: *Takes 25 minutes to say what probably take 3 at the most*
To ne fair, it’s the only podcast where Conrad Thomson isnt able to interrupt every 3 seconds 😂
the best example of Eric waffling on is when Conrad asks him if he regrets not having a profit share on NWO merchandise. Eric must spend at least 10-15 minutes seemingly trying to convince himself that the money doesn't matter, even though it clearly does and he knows full well that he's missed out on millions.
Every Conrad podcast is non stop shilling for his business, shilling for other people and Conrad interrupting
I think this is my favourite series. Feels like Jack is having a lot of fun with it can't wait to see what's next
That Bill DeMott line was fucking legendary, Jack. Chef's kiss for that one.
For real, whoever wrote that deserves a raise!
Also, fuck Bill DeMott.
Jack has struck gold with this series this is absolutely wonderful and by the time I got to the end I could not stop laughing props to Luke for the awesome editing as well that made it so much more fun. Keep up the great work guys

That sounds so bad its good
Reading this was painful I'm scared to touch the show

The edit on this is incredible! Luke is an editing monster!
Luke has the best time with these. 🤣 I feel like we just watched Jack endure psychological torture. So,.of course I want you to do a Great American Bash episode!
This ruled, Jack! I adore how late-era WCW just saps the viewers energy and joy
I loved it, was completely chaotic and never knew what was gonna happen, was like an early 90s indie show
You could literally do one of these for every single week of WCW in 2000 🤣🤣
I don't want him to suffer a permanent brain injury doing this tho.
@@sdmurphy20True, me neither.
Thank you Jack for taking us on this wonderful trip through some of the weirdest and wonderful wrestling and thank you Luke for the excellent and hilarious editing.
Please do the great American Bash, I need to see this story continue.

Lukey Blue Shoes is living his best life with the editing of this series.
❤
I’ve never watched an episode of WCW, but going forward Im never going to, I just want Jack to review them all. One of my favourite videos for a while guys. Great work by Jack and Luke.
By gawd, the editing is insanely good. You just have to have a feeling for this. Jack is also amazing obviously. You work together perfectly.
Anyone who makes the argument "Yeah WCW in 2000 was bad but have you seen WWE these days?" has never actually watched WCW in 2000. This is incomprehensibly terrible.
Great video, but a wee correction; Van Hammer was called Major Stash because he literally refused to be called Private Stash (despite it making perfect sense for his gimmick) because he didn't want to seem beneath his stablemates.

i think Kevin Nash was on the booking committee for WCW at this point in time (surprisingly later than the fingerpoke of doom)
The editor of this video needs a raise
I honestly cannot put into words how much I love this episode. The emotional roller coaster that Jack goes through is amazing. Plus Luke has done a great job editing this episode. I need more WCW episodes. I will now thank Jack and Luke for going though the pain of watching WCW
Jack killing me with the Steiner impression 🤣. He's hit a groove with this series, keep 'em coming!
Jack and Luke this series is an absolute joy!
This was some of the funniest stuff I've seen in a while. The editing was amazing. Please do the Great American Bash 2000!
This is by far, my favorite thing Jack has ever done. Big up to Luke for the edits too
If your depressed don’t watch 2000’s WCW
The thing with Ernest "The Cat" Miller making the ref call a count-out. If I recall correctly, at the start of the Bischoff/Russo era they announced either no count-outs or possibly just no DQs in general. So The Cat was forcing the ref to enforce a rule that he wasn't supposed to.
I bloody love this series! And yes, please do an episode on GAB 2000 (assuming your already-fraying sanity can take the strain).
So glad this is back! Fantastic series! Great work by all and presenting by Jack!
@13:07 Chavo not even trying to hide what he's staring at right there.
If that's the case, then what is dude with the glasses looking at in the next frame? 13:10
😆👍
Luke the editing on this was fantastic
Whoever the new editor is give them a raise, my favorite looking episode yet.
Genuinely best thing going on the channel right now. Top work lads.
Jack makes this Nitro feel like a 5 hour long ppv.
Jack going insane describing late-day WCW episodes.
Perfect.
I love these! Jack is great & the edits compliment his energy so well. Great job!
I laughed outloud several times while watching this at work. Love this series so much.
This series has been amazing it really suits Jack I hope they're able to keep it going
I’ve made it a point to watch each match from this Nitro before watching Jack’s take on on each match. Honestly, this show is insane and wild and entertaining. That’s it. It just wild crazy fun.

Absolutely love the editing on these
Jack's distain for Bischoff and Russo in this and the accompanying PPV episodes is hilarious, this series as a whole has made Jack one of my favorite presenters.
😄👍
Keep going with this series, this much Jack energy keeps me going
WCW in the year 2000 bro? This ought to be ratings gold ✨️ 👌 🤣 👏 I swear to God!!
@Ian Thompson Yes, I am sure that is what he said
I’m not usually a massive Jack fan, but this was awesome.
God damn the editing is TOP notch in this series lmao
I'll be honest, I thought it was gonna be the September 25th, 2000 episode of Nitro (the one where Russo won the title) but that episode has been brought up so many times before. Russo winning wasn't even the weirdest thing on that episode. Worth a look.
I don't know how it's taken this long to get an episode about WCW 💀😂
A big meaty young buck sounds like something Dave Meltzer would dream of.
It was amazing how fast WCW went from the top to absolutely unwatchable...
Preemptive strike on the whole “your boy Vince Russo” - he is nobody’s boy, nor is he in anyone’s boy stable.
I'd have Russo as a boy. Just for the plain absurdness of his booking
Give me the trainwreck insanity of WCW 2000 over the dull and grey WWE of 2022 anyday
The editing on these videos is on point. That subtle Brazzers logo killed me
Luke rinsed Jack with those MIA edits 😂
This is so embarrassing. WCW still had a great roster in this time period, but wasted them.
"2000's WEIRDEST WCW Nitro Episode."
"Do you have even the slightest idea how little that narrows it down!?"
Jack's presenting + Luke's editing + weird wrestling is a winning combination.
"It doesn't matter." -- the mantra of WCW in its dying days
I love this series! Great work as always.
I like this a lot. Jack is a great presenter and the editing is hilarious.
Me and my friends were huge WCW fans back in the day. I remember changing the channel after seeing Eric and Vinny Ru were going to be opening the show. This was an amazing episode and now I gotta get back on watching 2000 WCW.
Great episode to this series!
Also, give Luke a damn raise! He’s great
Here comes Erick Bischoff "leave the arena" 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
11:32 probably the best recreation of Billy Kidman I’ve ever heard. 😂 I watched this episode of nitro right after watching this video and I came back to this part once I heard Billy say the line. Jack’s recreation sounds more like Billy Kidman than Billy Kidman.
Yes dude!! Was just wondering when the next one was gonna come out!!
31:41 The fact that Jack the Jobber sung the song "New York" by Ja Rule, is crazy 😂🤣😂🤣💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
the competition for this slot must have been intense
"I've got two words for you: SPEAR THIS, BABY!"
Geez, Russo; I thought you only intended to give _Flair_ a brain aneurysm, not the _audience._
Total banger. I love this series so much. Never stop 🛑
Jack, your Scott Steiner impression is good!
Being a fellow guy who loves weird and silly even I have to put my foot down and say when something is weird. This is one of those times
The cutoff edit on that Hugh G Rection joke was perfect.
Video Idea: Every 2000 WCW PPV Ranked From WORST To BEST.
After watching more videos about Vince Russo, I think that Cornette calling him shit stain might actually be a compliment.
Really enjoy the editing for this series.
I absolutely love Jack, I already loved his What Happened At?, and now this series is just peak Jack. I have rewatched World Wrestling World Championship Wrestling Federation Championship World several times. 10000% well done, keep em coming!
Also a huge mention to "stretcher job into an ambulance job, that is some great chain wrestling", what a line.
I haven't watched wrestling since I was a kid but I'm loving these videos. Keep em coming. lol
Also, PLEASE continue on to the Great American Bash..I think we'd all like to see where this madness takes you
After watching this video, I feel like we need a Great American Bash 2000 video just so we can see where the madness went after this episode. I need to know what happens next!
Bischoff taking the harcore belt from TERRY FUNK is the funniest joke I've ever seen in pro wrestling lmao
"He's in a feud with some guy called Hulk Hogan, he's like enhancement talent I'm not quite certain" 😂😂😂
The was so brilliantly funny! Loved this one so much! Well done Jack and Luke!
I love this series so much. This is the best thing Jack does. Please please please! Do the Great American Bash
Keep this up jack it’s a great series!
Jack slowly going insane for 38 minutes and 19 seconds 😂
Jack and Luke are having way too much fun with this lmao
Yes please review Great American Bash 2000! That would be awesome!
Anyone else think Booker as General Bro looks like Sgt. Johnson from Halo?
Well done making it to the end! Good sport!
Yess its back the best series on the ol UA-cam!!!!
Ahh. And episodes like this are the reason I laugh every time bischoff tries to criticize anybody for their booking today. Lol
Until a few days ago this was Markyd123's champion for worst wrestling show. A Nitro from a month prior just took the crown.
I never understood why Vince Russo was treated like a massive main event wrestler
The good ol’days!
this episode can also be titled "Jack slowly deteriorates over half an hour"
