Weirdest Episode with Jack The Jobber is probably my favorite stuff on Cultaholic. Even better than that time Pacitti had to take a 17 hour bus ride, which is gold.
I watch Royal Rumble 2000 on Peacock less than 24 hours before Cultaholic drops a summary video about Royal Rumble 2000. What are the odds? What a coincidence!
Man same here. I’ve currently going through the entire 2000 year myself on Peacock. So this timing is errie yet super cool lol. The point I’m at is the week of No Mercy though !
Fun fact with the "Shut up juice" line, it was written by a former writer from Late Night with Conan O'Brien named Tommy Blacha, which was inspired by something Conan used to say as a joke in the writer's room. Per Conan on The Howard Stern Show: "One of my put-downs that I came up with that was so stupid but I liked it was I told, if a writer was going on or said something I didn't like, I'd say 'why don't you go have a nice tall glass of shut up juice.' (...) It was such a stupid put-down but Tommy liked it. And then Tommy said watch the match this weekend and it was The Rock [saying the catchphrase] and the crowd went crazy. Then the next week Tommy said check this out, so I turn in that match, people are holding up signs that say 'drink some shut up juice.'" Kinda funny coincidence there with that being said on the same show that Conan's sidekick Andy Richter appeared on.
I'm with you on the defense of Triple H's "My Time" entrance theme, Jack. Triple H didn't even use that theme for very long(I think that "My Time" was used probably for a year and a half, if not almost a year and a half before he switched to using "The Game" by Motorhead in November 2000 before Survivor Series). "My Time" is totally underrated. I loved that theme back in the Attitude Era & I still love it now! It's a major nostalgic trip to the Nintendo 64 video game WWF No Mercy
BEST REVIEWER ON THE INTERNET for Wrestling Shows......good opinions, solid humor, good detail....just friggin great. Yes, I 100% prefer My Time as well....best theme.
So it's really sad that I noticed this, but the fan next to CM Punk at MITB 2011 was also in the crowd in both Punk's returns in both AEW and WWE. So now you know this dude never changed a thing.
Johnny Valiant was called Johnny V. during his manager run in the early 80s when he managed The Dream Team of Brutus Beefcake and Greg Valentine. Who's dream that was, I do not know.
Jack! The mean street posse on heat were told they were notin the runnble match, so they got revenge by spending the match interfering with other superstars.
This was the first PPV I watch live (thank you channel 4) I remember my older siblings waking me up to watch it and Royal rumble has been my fave PPV ever since
I love Foley. Back to Back rumbles of BANGERS !! Imho Rock vs Mankind >> HHH vs Cactus Jack. But I deeply love both, so much so I feel there’s no wrong choice.
My favorite camera shot in all of wrestling is Jeff flying from out of nowhere through the table as D-Von rolls out of the way. It’s just perfect and made my little heart squeal as a child. This show was so much fun to watch back then (minus the women’s thing, that was weird then and worse now), and one of my favorite sets ever, I always picked it on No Mercy back then. Edit: hot take I think The Rock back in the attitude era could’ve made “suffering succotash” get over
I didn't mind the Rumble match because of how intense the co-main was- felt nice to finish the ppv by having a breather. King of the Ring 98 was similar in that regard
This was the first pay-per-view I ever saw. Live on TV. Before I just rented VHS's. I have friends who watched ECW and I remembered just being pumped on this guy, Taz because of how much they built him up
The barbed wire bat shenanigans with Hebner and the Spanish announcers was put together so they could switch the bats around. The first one was actual barbed wire, the second one (that they handed back to Foley) was a different bat altogether and rubber wire
The Taz debut is made all the more baffling when you see where he'd be one year later. Taz plummeted down the card as fast as Angle rocketed up it. He looked like he was going to be a really big deal in WWF with this debut.
When Channel 4 aired their 1st episode of Heat, i couldn't believe it when they announced that this Royal Rumble was going to be aired on Channel 4. It was unprecedented to have a WWE PPV on Terrestrial TV
Awesome! I was really hoping this would be a pretty long episode. This is one of my favorite newer series and I was totally looking for something to smile \ chuckle at after watching both English Dub versions of Akira back to back. 😅👍
Remember watching this when I was about 5/6 years old when my older brothers friend let me borrow it to distract me from being annoying and wanting to play with them😅 so much nostalgia and love for this ppv! Awesome memories.
I'm Canadian, my dad is from South Shields, born and raised Sunderland supporter. I thought I knew pain as a sports fan but he is almost 50 and has literally never seen his team succeed. I've seen your pain first hand Jack
I feel like New York and LA shouldn't get hometown pops, ya know? Mick deserves a pop but "He's from here" has to be a bigger deal for you if your from like, Shit Nowhere Alberta.
I could not agree more with the split crowd whatever you want to call it the rock has been doing. It might sound good and look and be fun in attendance, but on TV it takes too damn long and it's pretty terrible. Another great video, keep killing it, best wrestling channel on the UA-cam and much love and respect from Washington State! 🍎 👊🏼👏🏼🍏
Loved the 2000 royal rumble it was my first WWF PPV I watched 👏 the street fight was awesome 😎 Taz’s debut was hot, the tables match was crazy, and even the rumble match itself was fun (even though it was predictable was The Rock was going to win).
Chokes aren’t really “legal” in pro wrestling. That’s why refs always looked at and checked the arm placement of anyone doing a sleeper hold on anyone to make sure they didn’t turn it into a choke. These rules were kinda forgotten about as UFC became popular.
I’m surprised that you would choose Davey Boy Smiths win at wembly over him almost winning the rumble as the second entry. It makes more sense to do a callback to his biggest moment in the same match. Just my opinion
The "big tall glass of shut up juice" ended up being revealed to have started from Conan O'Brien and made its way to The Rock. Ironic that Andy Richter was here too. I wonder if they spoke about it.
Not gonna lie, I use wwe theme song playlists for the entirety of my workout sessions. And when that Kurt Angle theme comes on I hit another level...and then I want to cry because the song is so beautiful 😢
this is my All time fav PPV and where my love for wrestling began. I know it inside out lol and yes Jack i do that with randoms in the crowd. The bloke with the Yellow backwards cap doing the NAO ring intro... where is he now?!
Haa! 14:19 Now you've reminded me of how I wanted to see the next part of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, I was slightly pissed when I found out it was cancelled. I thought it was fun and had just started to get interesting. 😅👍
The "guy in the audience" bit is intriguing for another reason and that's how "fans" who get physically involved in a bit like that are often undiscovered local wrestlers who, a decade or two later, wind up main-eventing in a major promotion.
Idk why but I always remember in the street fight when they do the suplex on the pallets some fan yells "you pussies!" And I'm just like, bruh how. That street fight is pretty awesome
The way I laughed at this one holy cow btw. being latina, watching WWE from my country in South America, the Spanish Announce Table spots were the best haha
Weirdest Episode with Jack The Jobber is probably my favorite stuff on Cultaholic. Even better than that time Pacitti had to take a 17 hour bus ride, which is gold.
I agree!
That’s the only punishment I found funny
Haha well damn, that John rocker baseball players rant would just get cheers by a lot of people now and hed get a medal and public office
I watch Royal Rumble 2000 on Peacock less than 24 hours before Cultaholic drops a summary video about Royal Rumble 2000. What are the odds? What a coincidence!
Prove it
Man same here. I’ve currently going through the entire 2000 year myself on Peacock. So this timing is errie yet super cool lol. The point I’m at is the week of No Mercy though !
1 in 830,000
Coincidence ….I THINK NOT🤓
I watched it a few hours ago too 😅😅
That Tazz debut…
really had to say the “et-yeh, et-yeh” for the Foley punches lol, underrated gem…i always love the videos he narrates
The "Terri, no!" moment is such a classic.
I literally just watched it last night. I've never been more prepared for one of these episodes!
Jack the Jobber is fantastic in everything he contributes to the channel, but there's genuinely something very special about Weirdest Episodes.
cause jack is better then whoever does worse ones that kid is so freeken annoying
@@TheRaven361cool wwe videos
"Them just replaying Taka braining himself just seems needlessly cruel." Yeah, that's Vince McMahan in a nutshell.
Now look at vince😐
Titus O'Neil

I had to do a mad double take because I only knew Blancha from Metalocalypse. Did not expect this level of crossover.
@@MustafaJonesDrew It’s definitely a fun fact.
My favorite series, keep up the good work guys 🖤
Can we please get a series just like this only going over the greatest PPVs, Raw, SD, etc episodes of all time
The guy from MITB 2011 was at Punks AEW debut. He’s briefly on tv
I'm with you on the defense of Triple H's "My Time" entrance theme, Jack. Yes, I 100% prefer My Time as well....best theme.
Love the way the editor mixed b/w and color during bloody scenes, great job Luke!
WWE (then WWF) claimed that unlike the time The Kat flashed the audience, Mae Young was wearing a body suit for that segment.
YES! YES! YES! I love this series. You warmed my cold heart. Or maybe you cooled my hot heart. Either way, thank you. 🎉
Jack! The mean street posse on heat were told they were notin the runnble match, so they got revenge by spending the match interfering with other superstars.
This was the first PPV I watch live (thank you channel 4) I remember my older siblings waking me up to watch it and Royal rumble has been my fave PPV ever since
Royal Rumble 2000 was epic mostly because of the Triple H-Cactus Jack Street Fight for the WWF Championship 🏆.
I love Foley. Back to Back rumbles of BANGERS !!
Imho Rock vs Mankind >> HHH vs Cactus Jack. But I deeply love both, so much so I feel there’s no wrong choice.
We don't talk enough about how good of a theme song "My Time" is.
Always a good day when a new episode to my favorite series comes out
30:40 “real nails cry me a river” SENT me😂
I absolutely love cultaholic wrestling! All you guys are the best but jack and Luke are the best! We need another weirdest episode videos ASAP
I absolutely love this series. Jack talking about something and getting derailed to completely another things is so funny 😂
My favorite camera shot in all of wrestling is Jeff flying from out of nowhere through the table as D-Von rolls out of the way. It’s just perfect and made my little heart squeal as a child. Lol yes to all of that but yeah that's not a hot take, he probably could've. It's all about phrasing and how it's said
I love your futball and basketball comparison. It is fun to cheer on a team that seemingly never closes the deal.
It makes it really counts when they do get a trophy. It will especially mean more for Jack now that good rivals, Newcastle, have Saudi state backing
Didn't expect Jack singing Chairman's Intent today but lets go.
I didn't mind the Rumble match because of how intense the co-main was- felt nice to finish the ppv by having a breather. King of the Ring 98 was similar in that regard
This was the first pay-per-view I ever saw. Live on TV. Before I just rented VHS's. I have friends who watched ECW and I remembered just being pumped on this guy, Taz because of how much they built him up
King of Kings is a good song imo. These videos are always very entertaining 😂
The barbed wire bat shenanigans with Hebner and the Spanish announcers was put together so they could switch the bats around. The first one was actual barbed wire, the second one (that they handed back to Foley) was a different bat altogether and rubber wire
LOVING the longer runtime. Let those diatribes, tangents, and weird inside jokes flow freely.
My Time is heat for me too, man. I love it so much.
“Real nails, cry me a river” popped me ngl
I was at this show. I won tickets from the Opie & Anthony radio show.
The Taz debut is made all the more baffling when you see where he'd be one year later. Taz plummeted down the card as fast as Angle rocketed up it. He looked like he was going to be a really big deal in WWF with this debut.
In Angle's defense, he is the absolute goat. The mistreatment of Taz could be studied, though.
Got me thinking what if they had put Luna in Right to Censor
When Channel 4 aired their 1st episode of Heat, i couldn't believe it when they announced that this Royal Rumble was going to be aired on Channel 4. It was unprecedented to have a WWE PPV on Terrestrial TV
For real. "Weird PPVs" was clearly too much for Channel 4 😭
Awesome!
I was really hoping this would be a pretty long episode. This is one of my favorite newer series and I was totally looking for something to smile \ chuckle at after watching both English Dub versions of Akira back to back.

Jolly brilliant mate!
That atomic wedgie Cactus have Triple H for the pile driver was hilarious 😂
A Tampopo shout out on Cultaholic is something I did not have on my 2024 wrestling bingo card.
Tomorrow’s podcast is gonna be somber. Will be interesting to see how the boys address today’s news and the Royal Rumble itself.
Just...god...I feel disgusting to be a fan right now.
thank you for this comment, literally how i found out about this, the more you read the worse it gets.
Vince really needs to be removed from the company
and if the reports are true
Brock Lesnar as well
The worst and weirdest will always be the eye for an eye match. Glad Vince is out of creative.
It was no wonder Mick didn’t get a hometown pop, we all know “Cactus Jack” is from Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. Not New York. 😂
I feel like New York and LA shouldn't get hometown pops, ya know? Mick deserves a pop but "He's from here" has to be a bigger deal for you if your from like, Shit Nowhere Alberta.
This was live on C4 in the UK for free
24:25 damn if only he waited a week or two
I used to have this ppv taped and i would watch it over and over and over until i knew every spot in every match by memory. Good times.
Test received a *huge* pop during this Rumble! 💯
Jack got dealt a little karma at 27:45 for ridiculing good ol' JR at confusing the Hardys.
I reviewed this show on my podcasts like episode 3 or 4 amazing

I also wonder about the random notable fans. Do they rewatch their segments?
We all know Jacks favorite segment was the Mrs Rumble match 😂
With all the times you said "unprotected chairshot to the head" it just made me think, what is a protected chairshot to the head?
I want 12 of these for the whole year. One a month. Please oh please do it

yo Jimmy, hit me with that Triple H
Thanks 🎉
The "big tall glass of shut up juice" ended up being revealed to have started from Conan O'Brien and made its way to The Rock. Ironic that Andy Richter was here too. I wonder if they spoke about it.
😭😭 the sting position killed me-good one
Hey! Great way to start the video
Popped when Jack started singing Robyn...Dancing on my own best pop song of all time
This is definitely one of the first DVD that WWE released that I watched religiously
I remember staying up to watch this on channel 4. They didn’t have the Kurt Angle health update on the live show though.
You know your getting old if you can remember a time when Kurt Angle had some hair
Ok the dog eat dog world idk why but I loved it he was so happy saying it 🎉
Not gonna lie, I use wwe theme song playlists for the entirety of my workout sessions. And when that Kurt Angle theme comes on I hit another level...and then I want to cry because the song is so beautiful 😢
Tampopo is fantastic 🎉
Never forget it! It aired on channel 4 in the uk which was a first.
this is my All time fav PPV and where my love for wrestling began. I know it inside out lol and yes Jack i do that with randoms in the crowd. The bloke with the Yellow backwards cap doing the NAO ring intro... where is he now?!
"sorry to all the new yorkers out there" bro we are well aware that they are not good
The 1st WWF PPV DVD I ever purchased.
Yeeeesssss love this series!!!
If it helps, Jack, Kinkysaurus Rex IS a thing now.
John rocker was a mean closer for the braves. He had a tick to him and wasnt afraid to speak his mind or bean ya in the ribs
As a native New Yorker, knicks fan and a fan since the WC days, I was NOT expecting that
Can't believe you no sold Bubba Ray like that Jack
Tazz got a LOT of heat backstage after this. He dropped Kurt on his head
4:40 gnarly landing.
Then Vince punished him by changing his attire and never making him look good or badass
"Things can be weird *and* amazing at the same time," like Jack the Jobber.
Haa! 14:19

Idk why but I always remember in the street fight when they do the suplex on the pallets some fan yells "you pussies!" And I'm just like, bruh how. That street fight is pretty awesome
Love it ❤❤❤
Will always remember Adam Pacitti describing the rumble match here as "fundane" - fun yet mundane.
The way I laughed at this one holy cow
btw. being latina, watching WWE from my country in South America, the Spanish Announce Table spots were the best haha
New York has only gotten worse
Don't forget who was probably in Lawler's ear calling for that bump to be replayed over and over again.
