My absolute favorite series, Jack's comedy fits the format perfectly and Luke's editing and interactions with him are such a fun touch! U guys helped me get into wrestling. Love ya
This series fits jack so well, it's like listening to your buddy talk about the crazy wrestling he just saw. It's awesome, can't wait for the next one.
Thank you so much for covering this ppv! I was 8 when I attended this event with my dad and remember seeing all the police cars outside the arena and being kind of scared from it. BUT, nothing beats that weird ending of Sting vs Vampiro! That was so surreal to see that happen live, and watching back now it obviously was such a goofy stunt to end that match. Then of course feeling like I was betrayed with Goldburg turning heal. Again thank you for the nostalgia trip and love this series! 😎🤘🏻
Jack, this is one hell of a series and you are ridiculously engaging and hilarious as a relatable host. It's been that way for years tbf. Big up Luke Osborne for the top notch editing as well, absolutely brilliant! Keep 'em coming!
It's been great to see Jack go from the unconfident shy awkward guy from *name redacted* to the confident funny awkward guy at the GLOOORIOUS Cultaholic and kudos to the editor it ties it all together beautifully.
Absolute banger of a video. Jack needs to be compensated for emotional damages at this point 😂😂😂 PLEASE DO BASH AT THE BEACH 2000 NEXT!!! It’s the next PPV after this one and continues the absolute INSANITY that ensued here. Including Vince Russo’s legendary shoot on Hulk.
This is now my favourite series on Cultaholic, just love seeing Jack let loose with his humour in these videos. Oh and Luke's editing for this is always amazing haha
I'm in Nebraska it's 6:00am, I have been sick with COVID and Jack is making me smile and laugh so much!! This series is so wonderful and Jack's personality shines so much!! Thank you to Jack and the entire cultaholic team!! Love you guys!! Best channel in all of wrestling on UA-cam!!
I watched this on the Network a few years ago and I laughed myself silly when I saw the face reactions of Schiavone, Hudson and Fatass Mark Madden after the Sting vs Vampiro Inferno Match and I was like "What were you guys expecting the goal of an Inferno Match is to set your opponent on fire"
FUCKING YES MATE! Love this series so much, Jack you are killing it - and I'm putting this comment before the video even starts because I'm so BUZZING to see it on my subscriptions!!!
That was one hell of a ride! Thank you Jack (and Luke) for taking us on this strange adventure! As for a new episode, Maybe an ECW (Original or WWE) show, or an early NXT?
Best series on Cultaholic and one of my favourites on youtube in general right now. Feel free to take a break from Russo stuff if your brain needs it lmao
Another brilliant video, you captured the essence of that time perfectly! A proper nostalgia hit and a really good laugh, thank you very much for making this! Also i agree the editing is spot on!
Don't worry, you probably didn't want that Hulk Hogan pool float anyway Jack. Word has it even if you manage to lay upon it, it bucks you off exactly after three seconds to keep itself looking strong in defeat brother brother Jack.
You know every once in a while I say to myself "Self, why did I stop watching WCW around 1999?" And then I watch one of these videos and I remember why. So thanks a bunch! 😁
BIG BILLY P IN DA HOUSE. I too was very concerned that Mr. P was stuck in traffic or possibly ensnared in one of his classic scrapes. Show really picked up from there. Big weight off the crowd.
Jack saying that Mark Madden, Tony S and Scott Hudson's reaction to the end of Sting Vs Vampiro was a misstep. Someone tell him about the ending of Slamboree 2000 (The PPV prior to this) being Kanyon being thrown off the Ready To Rumble Cage and the fact it happened in the Kemper Arena.
This is definitely my favorite series on the channel may be tied with WTF Moments! I love this concept and Jack’s enthusiasm is hilarious! More like this and possibly longer lol
Funny bit of info involving The Police. Sting the wrestler, owns the trademark to the name. So the musician has to pay some small pittance a year to use the name. Given how things were going for wCw at that time, wouldn't be surprised if that wasn't Juvi trying to gtfo of there. As a fellow fan of MGS, you are not far off from a typical MGS cutscene. This era of wCw sounds like entertainment in retrospect. It's like, "Wow, they actually did all that." I can't imagine seeing it as it happened.
Fun fact, I’m from Baltimore and the Sting Vampiro match is what broke the illusion of wrestling for me. I was crying hysterically cause the Nitro before the PPV I couldn’t decide who I wanted to win since Sting is my favorite all time, but I loved Vampiro also.
6:34 It was basically Juve being upset over the Rock mocking him on TV. He'd said to Jericho about how everything he's done means bugger all and said something along the lines of "You've done what? Beaten some jabroni named... Who-ven-tud?" So it was pretty much a passing mention but when you're being shat on in front of 5-10 million people I guess his "response" was understandable... but it was kinda pointless, all the same.
So hard to figure out why this company was losing viewers and cash like crazy at this point. And even harder to figure out why Russo ever got a job as writer for wrestling again.
6:57 Yes I guessed correctly that Juventude did a People’s Elbow (I did think after I said People’s Elbow “I bet he does a Rock Bottom”) as I remember him copying the Rock but was calling himself the Juice (if I remember correctly, it was 23yrs ago) when stealing the Rock’s catch phrases i.e “If you smell what the Juice is cooking”
Fun Fact... The Goldberg Monster Truck would go on to ACTUALLY be used in the Monster Truck Series driven by the former driver of Bulldozer and Future driver of Maximum Destruction, Tom Ments. Rivaled only by Dennis Anderson and Grave Digger. There was even a build-up to the Goldberg Monster Trucks Debut featuring Goldberg himself
I don't know if this was suggested but there was a weird Raw from December 15, 2014. Kofi on commentary talking about Big E's lumps and ball sweat, Jericho is upset over a Slammy and makes a match with Paul Heyman, Corporate Kane beating up Adam Rose and tombstoning a bunny. This after a rather awful TLC PPV.
I will mention that Goldberg was actually a monster truck that ran on the Monster Jam circuit in 2001 to early 2001, with Tom Meents (the owner of the truck) eventually renaming the truck Maximum Destruction.
This series is amazing. I love how animated Jack gets - and the editing is excellent.
Its basically Wrestling Bios. You should search it if you haven't seen him yet.
Great editor and great reviewer😂
Jack Is generally the funniest on the channel, this series suits his him perfectly 😂
Least funny*
He's super funny and likeable. He's like your non-annoying younger brother.
yes
Adam be like Am I a joke to you ?
If third funniest means funniest, than yes.
"Everyone's wrong here, it's WCW" is pretty much the slogan of Russo's tenure
Exactly my thoughts and reaction.
2000s was basicly
Worst
Chump
Wrestling
Clicked on this so fast. Fastly becoming my favourite series 😁
Agreed
Definitely
Absolutely.
Same
Its basically just Wrestling Bios. Y'all should search it if you haven't heard of him.
Absolutely love these. I hope Jack goes full Alvarez and just covers every single WCW show
That way lies madness.
@@caseyhastings9219OOOOOOOOOH YEEEEEEEAAAAH!

Love this series, trying to make sense of WCW insanity of the 2000's this truly a herculean task. 👍🏽
nowadays you have MEN wrestling in the women's division, at least then we had Miss Hancock and Major Gunns.
Thank you so much for covering this ppv! I was 8 when I attended this event with my dad and remember seeing all the police cars outside the arena and being kind of scared from it. Again thank you for the nostalgia trip and love this series! 😎🤘🏻
Don't know what my favourite part of these videos are. Jack's being Jack or Lukes awesome editing
This series is still hilarious, Jack's explanation along with luke's chaotic editing. More pls
WHAT HE A PART OF THAT THE NAME IS REDACTED
Absolute banger of a video. Jack needs to be compensated for emotional damages at this point 😂😂😂

Yessssssss been waiting for this next episode for ages! Quickly becoming my favourite series! Great effort by all and especially Jack!
FUCKING YES MATE!
Love this series so much, Jack you are killing it - and I'm putting this comment before the video even starts because I'm so BUZZING to see it on my subscriptions!!!
No flippin way! I was just watching the older episodes wishing for a new one! Thank you Jack and Luke!
I like how this video has way more detail than any "what happened at" ppv video
I remember I had the VHS tape from Blockbuster of this PPV. The Goldberg heel turn pissed me off at 9 years old 😂 still does!!
Great presenting. Great editing. Great series. You love to see it!
These videos are an absolute delight. Thanks for doing these deep dives into some of the stupidest eras of wrestling. I love stupid wrestling.
Watching Jack go slowly more insane as this series grows is totally worth it
Been lokking forward to this video and it did not disappoint! One of the best series going on Cultaholic
BABE WAKE UP NEW CULTAHOLIC VIDEO
A chitty chitty bang bang reference! Now there’s a movie I haven’t thought about in a while.
Great video as always Jack!
I'm living for the ongoing jack the jobber vs Luke the editor feud
Another brilliant video, you captured the essence of that time perfectly! A proper nostalgia hit and a really good laugh, thank you very much for making this! Also i agree the editing is spot on!
Don't worry, you probably didn't want that Hulk Hogan pool float anyway Jack. Word has it even if you manage to lay upon it, it bucks you off exactly after three seconds to keep itself looking strong in defeat brother brother Jack.
Also, if Naked Snake had ever met Vampiro he would have shit a brick. Famously he's deathly petrified of vampires.
Honestly, I had no idea that Rey Mysterio was ever a heel…. I stopped watching WCW around 2000, so I had no clue this New Blood stable even existed!
New Blood vs. Millionaires Club was a mess to say the least.
You know every once in a while I say to myself "Self, why did I stop watching WCW around 1999?"
And then I watch one of these videos and I remember why.
So thanks a bunch! 😁
BIG BILLY P IN DA HOUSE. I too was very concerned that Mr. P was stuck in traffic or possibly ensnared in one of his classic scrapes. Show really picked up from there. Big weight off the crowd.
Tank Abbott one of the few guys in WCW (besides Meng & Rick Steiner) who can legitimately kick Scott Steiner’s ass
Dear Jack, please don’t stop making these.
I love this series!
The puppet jack run in about 3 mins into the video is very appropriate for this era of wcw 😂
W presenter, W video, W series, W channel. Up the Cultaholic 🤟🏻
This is definitely my favorite series on the channel may be tied with WTF Moments! I love this concept and Jack’s enthusiasm is hilarious! More like this and possibly longer lol
This the closest Cultaholic gets to the Deadlock Boys and therefore my favourite format on the channel
I'll be honest I just appreciate the 40k reference. Awesome video looking forward to watching the rest!
Oh yeah! Been waiting for this one! Keep 'em coming Jack!
Jack is great and all, but Luke, your edits give me life
jack and luke are killing it with this series
did not expect a hairspray reference immediately
It's really fun rewatching it this way. It reminds me a bit of the show Cheap Seats that was on ESPN and hosted by the Sklar Brothers.
Loving the series. Can you do a weirdest Lucha Underground?
I had a really bad day today and this cheered me up a lot. Thanks Jack
I never thought I would see a Hairspray reference in a wrestling video. Absolute class, Jack.
Best video cultaholic have ever produced.
Phew!! Couldn't have a great night of wrestlin' without Big Billie P in DA HOUSE!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
"Maaaan...Hogan's a Dick.. I never knew that." Lmao 😂 🤣 😂 🤣
Dude when you pinpointed this one as the weirdest PVP you've never been more right. Thanks for sharing I've never seen this.
Funny bit of info involving The Police. Sting the wrestler, owns the trademark to the name. So the musician has to pay some small pittance a year to use the name.

This era of wCw sounds like entertainment in retrospect. It's like, "Wow, they actually did all that." I can't imagine seeing it as it happened.
thank you for your sacrifice in watching this ppv jack
I love Jack's occasional Warhammer references.
Love all these ramblings that Jack goes in the middle of his sentences. One of my favourite series 😂
This is easily my fav series Cultaholic does.
Jack, here in Baltimore we usually shout out "F**k You Baltimore!!!" instead of "Good Morning, Baltimore".
I really really, need it this video today, thanks Jack and Luke
Everything ok am here if you need a friend to talk to
I love this series so much, looking forward to the next episode!
This is the greatest personality and editor combo
Full stop
This video series feels like it should be a podcast with multiple people but budgets got cut
Could you IMAGINE if twitter was around during this time. The memes and reactions would be priceless
6:34 It was basically Juve being upset over the Rock mocking him on TV. He'd said to Jericho about how everything he's done means bugger all and said something along the lines of "You've done what? Beaten some jabroni named... Who-ven-tud?" I love this weirdest of videos. Please keep em coming lol
I love the Lince shirt. That is from his Chikara run. Good choice Jack.
So hard to figure out why this company was losing viewers and cash like crazy at this point. And even harder to figure out why Russo ever got a job as writer for wrestling again.
The description at 39:45 reminds me of the bit in Peep Show where Jez tells the band how to make a better album.
"Bischoff and Russo, the real stars of the show" 😄 WCW 2000 was rough
After Wrestler of the Week Jack has done it again and made a great video-series. Keep the Warhammer references coming.
"" .. .. .. Hoovy, Bless him .. .. .. ""
His Rock gimmick was pretty fun
6:57 Yes I guessed correctly that Juventude did a People’s Elbow (I did think after I said People’s Elbow “I bet he does a Rock Bottom”) as I remember him copying the Rock but was calling himself the Juice (if I remember correctly, it was 23yrs ago) when stealing the Rock’s catch phrases i.e “If you smell what the Juice is cooking”
I wish we got more "Weirdest Show" content from Cultaholic, but I honestly worry about Jack when one gets made.
These videos are great!
These videos are really good Jack👍👍
I don't know if this was suggested but there was a weird Raw from December 15, 2014. Kofi on commentary talking about Big E's lumps and ball sweat, Jericho is upset over a Slammy and makes a match with Paul Heyman, Corporate Kane beating up Adam Rose and tombstoning a bunny. This after a rather awful TLC PPV.
This dude is my favorite presenter. I wish he did videos on other channels I watch 😂
4:20 Disco dressed like Kobe right after he won his first NBA title with Shaq, this was a few years before he came the Black Mamba
NO WAY!!! Big Billy P was in the house!? Best PPV ever
I'm gonna give it a watch tonight. Sounds awesome.
I will mention that Goldberg was actually a monster truck that ran on the Monster Jam circuit in 2001 to early 2001, with Tom Meents (the owner of the truck) eventually renaming the truck Maximum Destruction.
Left Jack & Owen's Twitch stream (UP THE FABES!) to go to a meeting, finished the meeting, and came back to this. Perfect.
Me and my mom went to this ppv as a late bday gift to me. We both said after the ppv it was the worse gift I ever got
I enjoyed 2000 WCW at the time because it was just chaos, made no sense and was just drama upon drama haha
These videos always rule. Keep em coming mate. 😃👌
"Everyone's wrong here. It's WCW" should be on a t-shirt
Loving this series.
Crazy how in WWE they was having one of their best years ever and in WCW this might of been one of their worst years ever
28:35 "Is Flair okay with this?" Apparently Flair didn't care anymore about WCW and was hoping that the company would fall out of business soon
Was not expecting to laugh so hard at Jack’s Russo impersonation 😂
Why is starrcade 97 infamous?
Jack is the MVP of Cultaholic.
Tzeentch reference - brilliant mate!
Jack just starting to sing hairspray is amazing.
How about a Dixieland TNA episode? Car crash at its best 😂😂
