I just bought the Chanel - and found about the cover girl just now. lol So far, I haven’t figured out how to apply it without my skincare or primer pulling up. 🤪
It’s most likely the ingredients in your products not meshing well!
I've been using the Chanel Les Beiges Water fresh tent since 2018. For me the key is to let your skin care and sunscreen set down all the way. Second, use either your fingers or a very stiff stippling brush like the one they provide. Do NIT brush it across the skin. Press it in after you break it up on your fingers or stipple it in with the brush after you break it up on a solid surface. It is amazing, beautiful, and undetectable. There is that slight learning curve.
I noticed the same. This water based product does not play well with silicone based products. You cannot use a silicone primer. Even my silicone based concealers on top will ball up.
Chanel has a Tinted product like this. This can be a more affordable choice ❤

Yeah I hear you. But I do feel like once they’re blended in they almost morph into your skin tone a bit.

Tbh, I don’t rly use blush so I just use the 2 blushes I have whenever I want blush.
But I do want to try some new drugstore blushes bc I agree with you.

I would not recommend the new cover girl essence for aging dry skin. I'm 72 and tried this makeup. It dried quickly and left a somewhat chalky appearance.

Why is it when i used it the foundation dried extremely quickly and looked dry and cakey ?.

I will say skincare is key and having a good skincare routine is key for any foundation.
but if you don’t have this issue with other foundations then could be this formula is not for you :/

I love this but it doesn’t play nice with other products. It’s water based and doesn’t do well with silicone products. Your products will start to ball up and flake off if combined.
