I noticed this at Target, I so love you do this for us Elle saves a lot of work. Last summer I used the new at the time Cover girl "outlast all-day" 3 in 1 and loved it for summer. I did not like their primer, but I use Supergoop unseen sunscreen and it acts like a primer and did great!😉😊❤
I’m over 60 and I love this foundation soooo much! It has become my favorite and I do not use a primer with it either. It does not settle into my lines or pores, but then again I don’t have enlarged pores. I love it!

Thank you for reviewing this product. I've used it and the primer. What I liked is that it had a good ivory shade for my skin and it didn't oxidize The primer works well under Estee Lauder Double Wear which is, otherwise, a little too easy and matte for me.
I have tried that foundation. I like it!
Hi Elle, I have seen this in commercials and have been wondering about this Foundation. I think it looks beautiful on you. It makes the skin look creamy without really looking like a heavy kind of foundation look. If that makes any kind of sense LOL. I think for the price point it is a very nice Foundation. I am so happy that cover girl has gone cruelty free! XOXO
I used to use this foundation all the time. It is pretty good especially or mature, dry skin. 💕

I want to support cover girl and their older spokesperson for this line. I think I might try this. If a way of using the camera on my device to give me my exact shade, it would be done already. I have so many wrong shades, I’m thinking of doing that old “mixing all of my foundation” challenge.

Great review 💜. It is great that CG is cruelty free. I was in Meijer and noticed that CG has a line that is marketed for People Of Color. As a woman that has always required the lightest shades of foundation, it was exciting for me, to see the rich pigments, in a drugstore line. Having shade inclusion is another, baby step, for CG.

Hi Elle, would this foundation pair well with the poreless putty primer? Also as an over 45 year old woman is there any other foundations you could recommend that might work nicely? I’m all about preserving what I’ve got and smoking mirrors. I do use a nice skincare regimen. Thank you. p.s. I also have trouble with setting powder so unless there’s a magic one, I usually skip them.

Jennifer Smith it’s not her, it’s the foundations. Doesn’t need a high price tag to be good. Loreal owns Maybelline as well as tons of high end brands, so you can usually find dupes within Loreal or Maybelline lines.

Wow this looks incredible-absolutely flawless. I just looked at the ingredients on COSDNA and it looks overall good for ingredients. I look for irritants and possible acne breakouts. This shows no irritants. Really does look beautiful on you.

Thanks for another well done video! I just bought COVERGIRL Advanced Radiance Age Defying Liquid Foundation in Classic Ivory, which looks to be the sister product to this with the differences being: plus spf 10 (which does nothing, lol) minus some anti-aging benefits. The one I got is NICE! It feels so good on and I agree with you regarding LOVING the new cruelty free aspect, but not the unclean ingredients but it's not a dealbreaker since I work from home and only wear foundation on outings. I WISH this had sunscreen of at least a 30! I use Neutrogena spf under foundation but don't like the cream layering, CAN YOU RECOMMEND a super-light drugstore pricepoint spf to wear under these types of foundations? Or better yet, A FOUNDATION WITH HEAVY SPF? My Next bottle will be this one because the classic ivory was too light and I like your review! I also bought Fit matte based on your suggestion and like that too, but not skin enough, as you did mention. Also, can you tell me the next level towards the darker color name? They don't seem to go in order. I have pink tones (sadly, lol) THANK YOU! Much love from Florida!
Interesting, I will have to try. I have tried other drug store foundation & threw them out!! Love the Real Techniques beauty sponge. I use the sponge for face/body!! Be blessed

I thought you looked a bit shinier after 9 hours. You look great that way. Me, not so much. I expect I will skip it. I bought he concealer by mistake while looking for the It’s Lit concealer and it was not enough coverage for me. I also found it looked very dry. I was so excited about CG not animal testing any longer so I am happy to s these reviews.
The round one I love and has SPF in it too love to apply it with a sponge it is dewy eod I love it
I’ve been using the one in the pot for awhile now with no complaints. I’m a cover girl Creamy Natural (211?) because it’s just sorta neutral on me regardless of the time of year! I have almost always preferred to stay with my same foundation color, just changing powder for the season, as necessary. The reason is because I am SO hard to match (I can be from light med-beige skin color depending upon the season, but I’m Olive all the time with very extra green undertones! Nightmare!). It’s easier and less expensive to adjust with powder and maybe bronzer than to try to find a new shade match 3-4 times a year! And also I will keep loose powder longer than any foundation...it seems like foundations get old too soon (I may be a bit of a germaphobe!). Try creamy natural in the pot one! I’m interested to see how it looks on you, with rosy undertones. Thx! Many blessings!
CYO Lifeproof Foundation, if you wanted to try another liquid, is good for skin tones like yours. Walgreens or Boots, depending on your side of the pond. It's very inexpensive, too!
What eye shadow do you have on? It is beautiful
I tried the one in the compact and hated it, so much that I threw it away after one use, I didn’t even think it was worth giving away - but the liquid one is awesome. I have all different foundations in all different price ranges - but this is the one I use the most. It makes my skin look perfect.

Why is it so hard to find a foundation that looks great on and has great ingredients as well?
This is the first drugstore foundation I have purchased and I love it! Great price, and it wears great all day. Mature, combo skin, and just use my fingers to apply, easy, peasy 😍

This foundation has been around for years. I use to wear it every day and I really liked it. My sister has been using it for at least the last 3-4 years. Not sure why I stopped. I'm thinking they probably tweaked the formula and then gave it new packaging. Think it's time for me to try this one again. Thanks Elle! xoxo

How does this compare to the L’Oreal True Match? I usually use high end foundations but True Match is my holy grail drugstore. You’re so pretty Elle! Everything looks great on your skin! ♥️
I'd love to know this, too. The True Match Lumi is a little too "lumi" for me (but is great on days when I'm extra dull for whatever reason) and I love the original True Match (wish it had a pump tho.) I like that this one looks really hydrating while having a more natural finish. I'm still searching for my drugstore holy grail. I can't afford the Estee Lauder anymore :(
Anne Mowdy I haven’t tried True Match Lumi. It is also probably too dewy for me! I’ve been using the original formula for over a decade! I switch off between high end and True Match. High end makeup is ridiculously priced these days! 🤦🏼♀️

I’m actually wanting to get a powder foundation. I used to use bareMinerals way back in the day, and was thinking about going with that. Do you have any other suggestions? I don’t want anything super matte or heavy.

When I want a powder foundation from the drugstore (and sometimes I use it to set more luminous liquid foundations) I go for the L'Oreal True Match powder. Honestly, I prefer it to the Laura Mercier one.

I started using this foundation last year. I was having trouble finding s good foundation that didn't settle into my pores.

Yes it does look and perform very well but I can't get excited about it due to the "not so great" ingredients. I'm happy They Are now cruelty free but I think the next move ought to be introducing a "clean" line.

Just bought this and didn’t use a primer at all. I didn’t notice any fragrance and I thought it wore well. Felt light on my face so I didn’t feel like I was wearing a ton of stuff on my face.

I'm just wondering, I know that Covergirl is now cruelty free, but Olay is not. So how can they make the claim of being cruelty free on this product? I wouldn't be using it, because I like a cleaner foundation, and I definitely don't want talc in my foundation. That being said, it did look quite lovely on your skin! ❤

Would the silicone base inhibit the hyluronic acid effects?

Hyaluronic acid isn’t effective in a dry environment anyway but I would think the dimethicone would help. If you are in a dry climate, hyaluronic acid can actually accelerate moisture loss. Check out, “Go See Christy,” she explains it very well.
Hey Elle, does the foundation have a smell/scent? The Olay products I've used in the past have a horrible smell to them so I stopped buying Olay products.
Trish G the two bottles I’ve bought have a fairly strong scent. It isn’t unpleasant, but it’s quite noticeable so if you are sensitive to scents I would steer clear!

yes that is where I was confused as well so I am not sure, but as far as I know since covergirl got their status they had to continue in all products

Of course, I gave the video a 👍, because it's YOUR video Elle, however, I just won't even consider ANY foundation w/ talc. I am also eyeballing so many other makeup products, blushes, powders, & eyeshadows that have talc in them as well. I wonder if the majority of the people even
know that talc is in lawsuits for causing Ovarian Cancer, from feminine hygiene products that had talc in them. I suppose soon lawsuits from Cancer in babies will follow, as talc has been in baby powders as well. I'm sure skin Cancers have been caused from talc in makeup products as well, but haven't been technically proven yet.

They’ve had both of these products on the market forever. It’s what Ellen Degeneres was the model for. Did they reformulate them or something? Not sure why they are presenting it as a new product.
