I still think the Rose Inc one is good mixed in with foundation! This one is better before you apply or on it’s own! I don’t think you’ll be disappointed once you try it!!

Yes I’m obsessed with the rose Inc one!! This one is great! I think it has more pigment than the rose Inc one. And the rose Inc one may be a titch more serum-y?
This looks really good, good I’d wear it similar probably more as a base with with or mixed with concealer.
Also love the editing, it’s unique and I haven’t seen many beauty creators edit with clips ….❤

Gosh it sold out quick!! So you were smart!! I think this one is going to be a quick favorite! lol I would never have chosen that color either lol 😂 but I used the tester on my hand and fell in love with the micro sparkle ✨
Okay, so I just used the covergirl skin perfector. Holy hydration. It is nice. It feels so good. But not oily or greasy. It is like water. But it covers. Like, with concealer I feel like I am covered. WOOHOO! They sent me the wrong shade, but medium works since it is so sheer. YAY!@@heyjess

Since I haven’t seen this in store just yet going to order online….but trying to determine if I should do Light-Med or just go for Medium? I’m usually spray tanned. Or should I just do Light and use it just as a “primer”? Would love to know your thoughts ❤
I think a true match for me if I’m wearing it alone is medium. But since I havnt bought it yet I’ve been using the light-medium as a primer first and it’s been working great!! I just go over with my normal foundation mix and it’s perfect!

Is this similar to the aveno perfectly ageless tinted moisturizer that was discontinued a few years ago?
I think this is a totally different consistency and formula. It’s more of a tinted serum and the aveno is more of a cream. Hope this helps!
Covergirl simply ageless is 30 bucks in Canada. It dried down quickly and made my skin dry. It looked like paint dried on my skin.

That’s strange. Did you apply skincare underneath before hand?
Since this was designed to be applied on bare skin, I can't seem to make it work with my sunscreen. ( A liquid mineral). Anyone else figure this out?
I didn’t apply it to bare skin either! I’ve used it with primer and lotions underneath. Maybe put the sunscreen on first?
Yeah... I had issues with using it with mineral sunscreen. It works better with chemical. Maybe you can use an SPF spray on top instead.
And what foundation brush did you use again?

Yep, a dupe for a Jane Iredale foundation and I believe it was first but honestly I have not tried the Channel one.
Yes Jane iredale does have one too!!! I believe the chanel one has been around for a looooong time. But they are the same product essentially.
@@heyjessI used the JI but I liked her BB cream ( the most pigmented base I have ever used ) anyway I like the dewy glow it gave you, I think I will give it a chance.

I really like the Cover Girl one. I like it better than the Chanel; IDK why. The only thing is I find the shades light. I'm really red and pale and I still find them really light.
The cover girl one is more hydrating I think! And ya I agree the shades are off a bit.
@@heyjess Yes, @ $94 with the shipping I was so disappointed with Chanel I doubt I'll ever get anything from them again. I have an allergy to their blush, too. And they make it really hard to return things. In a world where Sephora has made it as easy as 123 to do returns, that's a huge turnoff.
If this hits Target or Walmart, I may check it out once my "No buy" ends bc $21 for a drugstore foundation- no ma'am 😳🤦🏾♀️🤑. The drugstore is trying it!!
I actually agree with you on this. A titch pricey for “drugstore”. Some of the drugstore products are almost the same price as mid level brands. 😳

I didn't find the Cover Girl brand hydrating at all on my skin. Dried quickly and had a somewhat chalky looking appearance.
Oh bummer. Makeup is crazy. Sometimes what works for someone doesn’t for others. The Rose Inc one is a bit more hydrating I think!
So tell me, what did you think of this product long term? I am using CoverGirl Ageless foundation and love it.
I’m 67;and have used the Simply Ageless/Olay cream foundation for a few years now. It is THE best foundation I’ve ever used….I’d equate it with the NARS cream foundation that they stopped making about 5 years (or more) ago. I’ve also used some other high-end liquid & cream foundations and Simply Ageless is just the best!
Please #Covergirl, don’t discontinue this product!
Yeah, I'm not so sure about this. I mean, there are BB creams that look better, for the same price. I don't think it looks too good with the foundation added to it. I am just being completely transparent. I have a lot of large pores and over 40, very fair, but I don't think it does anything worth the price. I guess it's just personal preference. But I don't think that it's amazing. Not yet.
The masvara looks great actually, and I'm on the hunt for a new one currently.
The finished results look great however on you, after all the other steps and products.
I'm just not sure I'm buying into it. I wanted to so badly.
I prefer Purlisse BB cream Perfect Glow. They have a serum BB cream hybrid as well, but I don't like the "wet" glowy look.
Your skin actually looks really pretty and healthy naturally by the way. I think if you know what you like and it works for tou eother way, you should still do whatever you want. At the end of the day, we are all different and that's why there's an abundance of choices. Not like in the 90s, when we didn't have more than like three choices, and it was mostly garbage. Drugstore has really amped it up in the last 12 years. Take care💜

Yes! I don’t prefer the foundation mixed into it. It def looks better underneath foundation!
The thing I love about makeup is that everyone has something that works for them ,and what one person can’t work with, another person loves ! It’s fascinating to me!! The discovery of that is what keeps me loving the beauty realm.
I do agree that drugstore pricing is getting steep. A little too steep. Some of the price differences aren’t too much different from more mid range products. Not sure I’m loving that direction it’s going.
