Lol you need a bigger hammer for them steps, and slightly less clothes, just saying, maybe just fluffy boots and safety glasses, that would be awesome🤔
Thanks to you and Chris for the videos. I have binge watched your videos on your channels for the last week while sick. I have always been intimidated to work on things you have inspired me to do some things at the house I have put off. Thanks for the inspiration.
good job. from replacing concrete steps, then plumbing, to working on your car you are a person of many talents. I wish more people were like you. keep it up. and give your doggo a big hug.
Miss Jen, you have talent. I came here after watching the boat engine cover thing. Please don't give up, there is magic here and you will be almost unique if you can apprentice a little with the grumpy old man without "wrenching" each other and come out on the "other side" where there be birdsong and jumping lambs etc. I think you can do it. If you try a little more...We are cheering for you....xx🤗🤗
Great job, Jenn! You did well on the inner tie rod end replacement and saving the outer tie rod end. I got to see the solar eclipse, with my dad, where I was. It was the first time he was out of the house since coming home from the hospital in December. He has some health issues. As it was getting dark I heard a rooster make it's classic sound and one of the hunting cats in my backyard make one of one hundred different sounds cats are capable of making.
Great content. Always a win to have a Chris verify the work researched on the internet. Gives confidence to this shade tree mechanic and my 65 Mustang work.
Jen, for future reference, clamp vice grips on the inner tie rod and a wrench on the outer ,cuz there is a flat area on the outer to put a hand wrench on and unscrew the outer end from the inner., but your learnin, and i say good for you, its not often you see a woman working on cars, so you go girl!!!
We don’t get enough of you Jen. Your energy and sense of humor have no equal. Your interaction with Chris, Gus and Turbo are so enjoyable. Peace and love
Jennifer. I really admire that you jump into DIY projects and successfully finish them. Watchng you boosts my own confidence. Why did you sell her? Chris even said that you all should get another one, so why sell it? She seemed like a keeper to me. Oh well. I hope that you buy another manual car.
Jen, another very entertaining episode with cranky Chris in the background - you two make such a dynamic duo. Love the music overlay with appropriate cuts to movie references.
awesome Jen your skills are so improving Chris is a good teacher so patient awesome you two just awesome i see you both going far. so proud of you!! So PROUD!!.
Thank you . If I MAY SAY, miss Jennifer, I compliment you on your first fixing of a tierod ,that expierience in a very kind way had me in tears ,with joy when you started playing that music as you were working ,even as I'm typing I'm chuckling .Very good job.Keep on making great entertainment and video's they are great. And a big thanks to your teacher
This is why youtube rocks, your performing a repair I've done a thousand times and i'm totally interested in watching you perform the same repair. For you its the first time.
Great job on the tie rod. Sad that you sold the Mustang. I like that car. You and Chris should get a car together, and both of you get it running and on the road. You both have great chemistry with each other. Very entertaining. Keep wrenching!!!!🔧
Jen, the right way to use the adjustable wrench is to turn it around, so that the non adjustable part looks like a hook in the direction your going when you pull on it, most of the power is put on that side of the wrench, gives less stress on the adjustable part, and less wear
Hi, great video as usual, your ability to make the videos look like they were done effortlessly and thoughtlessly is simply excellent. You need to upload more content to the channels. It's just a pleasure to watch you and Chris. Cheers for Israel.
Well Jen, got to say that went easier than usual Iv replaced track rod ends and ended up turning the air blue with rude words Awesome video and shout out to Chris for 'the assistance'
1) Nice work and great video. I like these do it yourself type videos you do. 2) My all time fave is the one where you moved the storage building all by yourself. Omg.🥵🤭 3) I once had an 85 Mustang GT and absolutely loved that car! I've wanted another one since. Great work you and Chris both!👍
Jen, you did a good job changing the steering rod. You are getting better all the time. You have to be careful when you are putting the tire back on, you could break a rib or boob. Put the car down and then put the tire on.
You are an amazing woman with a can do attitude! Love that you placed the Marine Corps hymn in this video! As a Marine I salute your dedication and determination and am impressed with the work ethic you bring to all you have done. Keep up the great content and as always looking forward to your next adventure!
Well, I don’t know about y’all, but this was the most entertaining tie-rod removal video that I’ve ever seen. I’m pretty sure that I wouldn’t have anywhere near as much fun doing this as Jen did - which is why I won’t be trying this any time soon. Also, I’d insist on owning a dachshund and a lift. Greetings from Gettysburg!
Have a 92 stang that’s my project. I love that Chris offers help in a no nonsense manner and you’re not sensitive to how a man operates in a garage lol.
Really enjoyed this Video Jen. You show a lot more content than over youtube channels. Also show the difficulties. Lovev watching you in action and your humour. Look forward to the next video. 😁👍
I LOVE WATCHING YOUR VIDS, A YOUNG LADY THAT CAN AND WILL TRY ALMOST ANYTHING TO BE SELF SUFFICIANT, AND A LUCKY MENTOR TO WALK YOU THRU THE HARD BITS.
The reason for the castle nut torque being 35 ft/lb to 50 ft/lb is so that when you reach 35 if the castellations on the nut don't match up with the hole in the shaft you can go up to 50 to get them to align and allow you to install your cotter pin. The taper on the tie rod and in the steering knuckle is what's known as a Morse taper.
its so cool to see you guys work together.you guys obviously love each other and that little dog too.click your heels together and keep on rockin.peace and love from cincinnati!!!!
Hi Jen. Another great video. I love that you put as much effort in editing the video as you do completing the job. I'm sorry that you sold the Mustang but I'm looking forward to seeing your next car. For future jobs, I think you used the wrong Loctite product. The thread lock is either a red or blue liquid. I enjoyed the bonus coverage of the elcipse. Thanks for the video and remember, "if you're going to be dumb, you better be smart."
Good job Jen love how Chris makes sure everything is good you two make a great couple reminds me of watching my son working on my cars used to work for Mr Auto in Bensalem stay safe both of you
Jen you've done a wonderful job, just a word of warning never push on a spanner, if your hands are greasy your hands could slip off and do some damage to yourself also the spanner could slip off as well. If you pull the spanner toward you, you haven't got your body weight behind it just your arm/ hand movement. It's alot safer for you. Believe me I learnt the hard way I lost a lot of bark (skin) off my fingers and hands luckily no broken bones.. Cheers to you and Chris.🙂 Nev down under.
The counting the number of turns to put the tie rod back does work, however I've found measuring the distance from the part that screws into the steering rack and the outer tie rod, is actually more precise. I did this on a RX330 Lexus SUV about a year ago and did not get an alignment and there has been no toe in type tire wear!
Way to get after it Jenn! FYI next time use an additional method of a tape measure to ensure tie rod is as close as possible to the current alignment. Plastic weld your cracked bumper with wire clips you melt and press into plastic across the cracks.
Jess I use your videos for entertainment and I tell you, you really tickle me with them. Poor Chris has his hand full with you. I don’t mean this in a bad way! You keep trying and learning, let Chris help you more and don’t hurt yourself!
Made reservations months in advance and drove 5 days from WA to TX to see this eclipse in April 2024 (I think it was) and it was sunny all five of those day. Wake up on eclipse day - cloudy with a chance of meatballs. Didn't see nothin' except darkness in the daytime and nothing else.
Way to go Jen! Your willingness to learn and perform the fix will suit you well in the future. In no time you and Chris will have side by side auto lifts and dueling repair shows. Keep up the good work.🏜👍
Hello 😊! Jennifer!! I'm from Japan! I love how you sometimes imitate Chris in your videos. Also,😂I also love the Christmas song in the video! I'm rooting for you from Japan! Good luck with your UA-cam activities! I'd like to see more videos of you imitating Chris... please...😂I'm using Google translation, so my English might be wrong... 😅 Sorry...But I hope my feelings are conveyed.😊

What happened to part. 2. Of. The elevated basement. Toilet???
U GUY ARE LIVING THE DREAM WITH THAT LIFT
Is Chris paying for the extra gas the 'stang uses over what another Civic would burn?
Lol you need a bigger hammer for them steps, and slightly less clothes, just saying, maybe just fluffy boots and safety glasses, that would be awesome🤔
Seriously you could pay per view that, and be rich🤔
It's always a good day when another of Jen's videos shows up!
Absolutely the best inner tie rod replacement video ever.
Chris you are a lucky fella, treat that beautiful mechanic to a nice dinner.
She's an alcoholic. Dinner is the last thing on her mind. How many DWI's on the record?
I admire your courage tackling new repairs! Learning from mistakes builds expertise. Keep it up, Jennifer!
Thanks to you and Chris for the videos. I have binge watched your videos on your channels for the last week while sick. I have always been intimidated to work on things you have inspired me to do some things at the house I have put off. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thanks!
Thank you so much, David!
Always a pleasure to watch Jen and love her sense of humor.. Great job!🎉
Excellent job ! One helpful hint at the end . Lower the car down a bit to put wheel on ( and off) so you dont have to lift it up as high .
Jen you never cease to amaze me with all you tackle and accomplish! You and Chris are a great team and Gus adds to the fun too!
Thanks for taking us along with you! Gus was so cute too!!
Found you through NNKH. You are the best! Cheers from Wisconsin!!!
Jen working to Bizet's Carmen Opera is a perfect match!
Favorite mechanic-ish YT couple. Total badassery Jen and Chris.
All the way! and we based in sweden!
Proud of you Jen!! You did a good job! Good for you for wanting to do the job your self.
And your music choices are spot on. You go girl!
All around one of your best vids. Ediiting, content, explanations, humor, dog tax....well done!
With tie-rod end problems, the proper technical solution is always to get some Gus cuteness overload! Works every time! Good job, Jenn!

You’re more of a mechanic than I am Jen 🔧 You deserve a coffee girl ☕️ Better get one for Chris as well ☕️
Thanks, Keith! I appreciate it 🙂 and will do

I’m new at all this mechanical stuff! I learn a lot from watching UA-cam. Coincidentally I need to do my sway bars and tie rods, so this is perfect!
We don’t get enough of you Jen. Your energy and sense of humor have no equal. Your interaction with Chris, Gus and Turbo are so enjoyable.
Peace and love
Really? Has nothing with a young girl with a hard body dressed in skin tight gym clothes to do mechanic work?
@@bluwng No.
spot on she is a whole movie filled with comedy and humor
Jennifer. I really admire that you jump into DIY projects and successfully finish them. Watchng you boosts my own confidence. Why did you sell her? Chris even said that you all should get another one, so why sell it? She seemed like a keeper to me. Oh well. I hope that you buy another manual car.

Great video Jennifer and Chris
Such a fun and informative video Jen! Loved watching your wrist workout while you lube and work on the the rod! 😂
Well done Jen - nice use of the foot at the end - much better than a hammer
Wow the video we needed . You changing a tie rod
Jen you've done a wonderful job, just a word of warning never push on a spanner, if your hands are greasy your hands could slip off and do some damage to yourself also the spanner could slip off as well. Congrates on the project success and on your new sponsers. They know a good thing too!
Fun video very long format I appreciate. You gotta give Sarah inTune a heads up. that's how I found your Channel.
Way to get after it Jenn! FYI next time use an additional method of a tape measure to ensure tie rod is as close as possible to the current alignment. Plastic weld your cracked bumper with wire clips you melt and press into plastic across the cracks.
Awesome job Jen. I admire you for not being afraid to tackle anything.
Jess I use your videos for entertainment and I tell you, you really tickle me with them. Poor Chris has his hand full with you. I don’t mean this in a bad way! You keep trying and learning, let Chris help you more and don’t hurt yourself!
I love the fox body stangs man… so beautiful.

@10:39 you need a tie rod separator tool. It clamps on and you tighten down until it just pops it loose by getting (pressing) past the taper.
That was so cool seeing Ralphie and WaWa installing the engine in the Futura!!!
Way to go Jen! Your willingness to learn and perform the fix will suit you well in the future. In no time you and Chris will have side by side auto lifts and dueling repair shows. Keep up the good work.🏜👍

Love it when you post Jen. MamaCard, at 79, wishes I was you when I was little.
Awesome video as always - glad you sold it, I just never liked that body style - don't ever sell that green one though 😎
Seen the 4 sale video by Chris earlier Jen. I'm going to miss seeing you work on this foxbody.
