I've watched about 20 videos on drawing in the past few days, and this was not only very instructive, but your commentary is definitely the best of anyone else out there. Thanks!
You don't realize how much this video helped me. I totally see drawing in a different way. This video was superb. I learned a lot. Thank you for doing what you do. You could keep this knowledge to yourself but you share it with others. That alone makes you great. I will keep practicing

Morpheus also said it in the Matrix in 1999 lol
You can apply this principle in every aspect of your life.
I have never been able to draw faces properly my entire life and after watching few of your videos I decided to give it a try and it turned out so well! Thanks so much for this tutorial
you are the best drawer.
One of the most perfect and helpful videos out there.
honestly i dont mind watching the full length video! you are a very detailed and well spoken when it comes to drawing so when you explain everything as your drawing really helps thanks for another video i have drawn a lot since watching! this is one thing i struggled most with lol is heads and animals for some reason but this has given me a new angle on things! thanks again! i am getting your book as soon as christmas is over!
Thank you very much! It is so helpful for a beginner when things are explained with drawings so well!!
I just purchased your book from Amazon and I must say it is pretty impressive keep up the Fantastic work.
Easily the best narrated face drawing video I’ve seen. Thanks for sharing your skills!
Love this and your added humor! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you Mr. Marzullo.
This is a very helpful guy in art.
Really impressed by how much information you packed into this video. I love this tutorial because it's not situation dependent (e.g. how to draw creepy male head etc.) but rather teaches fundamental anatomy that can be applied to head drawing in general. I'd love to see a whole series of this approach (hand, leg, etc...) I know it's a lot asking for content at such high quality, god bless you Roberto, may your channel grow exponentially in '19.
Nice video! I learned quite a few things. Keep em coming! I love the way you explain stuff and go on tangents. It really helps to understand the bigger picture (no pun intended).
You make the human head so easy to draw now. Thank you and your funny :)
the only tutorial which helped me. Thanks for your advices man
You did a great job of explaining this. So much better than others and first thing after you woke up, too. Thanks.
Brilliant Rob. Thank you for this superb lesson.
VERY GOOD TEACHER
Thank you for the video tips. I find this video very helpful. 😊
A really great video. I know it's old but it's gold too. Was engaging, and I felt like I genuinely learned something here. I've been trying to draw faces without tutorials and I've seen method on doing it and I've kinda just winged it by literally looking at the methods. It usually works out okay, but this helped me see where I was getting things wrong. Also had a few laughs while I watched, so thank you!
Awesome. I'm getting back into sketching
Great it’s more than helpful.. I’ve been looking for tutorials like this but, nothing well explaining better than this
Amazing book my friend
Good job
This was very helpful and cool. Thanks for sharing
I feel ya on the flipping of the image. I don't do digital, but I take a photo of my paintings and flip it and suddenly EVERYTHING is wrong with a painting that I originally really liked 😂
Awesome as usual. The longer length videos are actually really nice to follow along with.
Thanks Ryan. Glad you enjoy them! :)
Thank you for sharing this information. I am an enthusiastic artist and every few weeks I go back-to-basics. This video helps with this goal. :)
Very happy to help and more on the way!
This has been so helpful, thank you!
Very very helpful thank you
I was used to the dead serious conscientious tone of yours and was caught off guard by all the sarcastic jokes in this vid. Solid tutorial.

You’re welcome!
You cut the bullshit out Rob!...im always honing my skills one way or another with you. Thanks!
Great stuff Robert as always! I struggle with “taming the digital beast” so to speak. As I transition from traditional techniques and materials what are some essential tools and techniques in the digital realm that I should begin to develop confidence with before all others?
Wow i can draw a face now😁👍👍 amazing dude
Great video! Thank you!
\
Jokes on you, I'm definitely watching you from my Google work account during lunch >.>
😂😂😂
17:27 It looks completely perfect to me!
Thanks so much!!
Another great video! The eyes are still annoying but this is probably one of my better 3/4 faces so far.
Hi, awesome tutorial. Are you drawing in photoshop? Would you be willing to share your brush settings you’re using or sharing the brush file?
Hi Robert, thank you !.. 🤓
It's always interesting to watch you drawing.
Is it usefull ? For me, as I'm still learning : no doubt, for sure, it's worth the time spent on your channel ! 👍
Eric Duchesnes everyone drawing is still learning
Eric Duchesnes even the masters
‘’ and that’s what amazing people do , the join the circus , I would have but .. all the spots for elephants were taken ‘’ LOL
Thanks so much for this! Maybe a video on how to draw bodies from an angle and side view as well, that would be great. I really struggle at those. I am definitely going to check out that book of yours
Interesting. You start your sideplane from the middle of the circle to the jaw while Proko starts from the top. What would you recommend? I actually like your approach more but what is right?
Having a Struggling Moment tring to get the heads rite. Tring to work past it. This Video was Helpful to me.
Hi what tool are you using? What sketch board tablet or software. I'd appreciate it.
I need this with bodys
Hi, Robert! I've been drawing for many years but never had the confidence to feel that I am really good at it. This tutorial has helped me immensely in being better able to evaluate my skills and to realize that many things I've mistakenly thought were errors or lack of skill are only part of the process of the art: it's about CORRECTION, NOT PERFECTION. I see that I've been my own judge, passing sentence for what has not been criminal. I thank you sincerely for sharing both your knowledge and humor.

lol ; ) great stuff
Are you using a Wacom tablet and pencil?
I use a Wacom Cintiq 22HD for most of my videos like this one. I also use an Apple iPad Pro/Apple Pencil.
Thanks for watching!
-Robert
Honestly how does the Ipad Pro pair up to a Cintiq? I'm in a tosser, between getting an Ipad Pro or the Cintiq 13HD.
Robert, is it better to learn a digital drawing from a beginner
I've got to get me one of these things u draw with. I can't flip my image to check for symmetry on paper. If I can't afford top of the line, what would be the best I could get???
Traditional artists use a small mirror to check by standing it vertically next to the part of the image they are checking and then seeing if the reflection looks like crap.
A lot of pro artists still stick with traditional since drawing on a tablet feels generally worse than paper and you end up with an original piece of art at the end which can be sold, instead of just prints.
If you don't want to pay the kind of money it takes to get a tablet with a visual screen to draw on, you could get one with a black drawing pad instead, like the wacom intuos range.
Clayton at the "How to Draw Comics . NET" channel uses an intuos 3 apparently and his art is totally amazing. He even draws in a weird way which should theoretically produce sucky results but he somehow avoids the negatives of the method.
You can find Intuos tablets on the market used for pretty cheap. Great tablets! A mirror by the art table is pretty cheap too! ;)
Agreed! Clayton does some amazing work. It’s all about the artist and not about the tools!
get the gaomon m106k
best tablet for price🙂
what are you using to draw?????
I do a little thiiiis little thaaaat. god damn it I'm trying to follow the drawing process for an hour like this. the instructions can be much more clear
and then he just reversed the drawing. 😵💫
TEACHABLE MOMENT 🤔
7:50 You drew Boomhauer from King of the Hill
brush ?
I always draw worse when I try to follow these formulaic ways of doing faces haha
I know what you mean. I tend to do a bit better without them too on some days. Thanks for your comment!
No problem. You put out some helpful vids
