I’m out here cracking fenders so you don’t have to 🤓
Megatower 29r with a Fox XL fender definitely won’t fit the normal way. Thought I’d try seeing if fender had enough flex to fit over the lift guides but that resulted in one of the fender holes cracking by the pressure release valves.
Just a heads up to be prepared in case you have the same combo. A zip tied / small fender should be good.

Another thing, the valves on the lowers to bleed the air out of the lowers also can get pushed down while on the lift letting all the oil out of your lowers

This may seem like a silly question, but does back fender affect that as well. Or does it only grab the front?

Only your front wheel sits in the loader so you could have a unicorn tail coming out your rear wheel and it wouldn't matter (on the lift up), naturally this would cause amusement and hazards on the ride down 😂

..... why not use the front brake for what is is designed for, holding the front wheel. And keep the bike angled the lift should keep it locked and off the fender
