Actually the iPhones don't support 30W charging so it automatically slows down to 20W that's why they're both the same speed

I think iPhone doesn't support 30W charging, so it throttled into 20W, which you might see the result between 20W and 30W were similar. Also, larger power means more heat and energy dissipated which is not as efficient as its lower power.
Your testing was very good, you gave us an insight which power adapter should be bought. For suggestion, you could create a chart for comparing your test result, as it would significantly help user to understand and determine which is better. 👍👍

I’m more interested to see how a wired usb-c charger compares to MagSafe from 60% charge to 100% and also 80%-100% since all chargers slow to a trickle the more a phone is charged. MagSafe might be just as good, better, or about the same once a phone is at 60-80% to get to 95%, which is the majority of my charging before I leave the house. Also, a lot of people mostly charge overnight and the slow charge saves the battery over time, and when you need to grab your phone waking up, it’s easier to pull off and put back on the MagSafe while groggy. I wonder especially if MagSafe is an improvement on 7.5w Qi charging for that last 30-40% of a charge.

Everyone should already have wireless chargers with QI charging so it's kinda pointless to even get the magsafe. Maybe I'm just bias because the only thing that they added to the latest iphone was magnets and a remodel of the iphone 5... It also doesn't make much sense to me to spend 90 bux for magsafe 40 and what 50 for the brick? just to be slower than the lightning cable with an 18w charger lol..

Either way, you still have to get a charging brick that should be a part of the product. The fact it was sold separately is obviously greed considering they didn't discount the price of the items from the box... Also you should go see how big of a change it really is, they won't allow people to repair your device without an apple care insurance you're screwed, I'd only get this device on the next gen plan and get rid of it ASAP. Considering I'm one of those people who like to own the phones they use it's a real blow to my collection since I could never fix it should it break after the 2 years...

Therefore most fast chargers are a waste of time. What can help though is a charger that help condition your battery, if u put it on a trickle charge overnight then you should find that within a few weeks of using you should see small increases in battery performance. @@calebmukasa2532 no stupid, I mean it apparently only charges at 15 watts if you use the official Apple 20 watt charging brick with the MagSafe cable, no 3rd party brick or any other ones (even MacBook chargers) just the new 20 watt usb c brick that came out with MagSafe smh. Watch zollotechs MagSafe video on the topic lol
