"Not that everything happens for a reason, but that God can make reason out of everything that happens" -- that is a message I definitely needed to hear today.

I am speechless and don't know what adequate words I can say. Thank you and your husband for your incredible words and deeds. May the Lord continue to pour His blessings on you and your children. Thank you so much!
Hello from Perth! I'm not a veteran but married to a former soldier in the South African Army. I hope that you're doing okay. What a great video on courage, strength and the will to move forward without our eternal companion... Regards from Perth, Western Australia 💜
Just YES to everything you said in your video. Thank you for sharing your feelings and experiences. It has validated my own from my experience of losing my husband to cancer 2 years ago and caring for our 3 beautiful children. Sending love to you and your family ❤
Thank you sister for making this video. Thank you, Heavenly Father for sending your kind son to give me hope where there would otherwise not be any. Thank you for bringing life where there would only be death. Thank you ❤
If my beloved son wouldn’t died I wouldn’t known about the love of Jesus Christ My son was 21 years old I miss him so much but I know I will see him again in the resurrection day 🙏🙏
I just lost my wife of 33 years about 6 weeks ago. I was so touched by your video and cried all the way through it. There is nothing that can prepare you for the emotional devastation of losing your companion. Only faith in the savior and knowing that I'll be with her again keeps me going. Your struggles and how you have overcome them are an inspiration to me to keep moving forward. I am grateful for your example of strength and your testimony. Thank you for your courage to share this with us all. I hope it is helping so many others with their struggles as it has helped me.

Seven months ago both my mother and husband died unexpectedly two days apart. Because my husband was our provider we also lost our income. I am disabled with three teenagers. His mother who he also cared for is disabled as well. I can't stand all the times I have been told "It was his their time." or "God needed them more." Thank you for making this video and putting it out there. Every need we have had God has met. In my pain, Jesus has not abandoned me. I believe I was led to your video. Thank you.

As one that used to wear the same uniform and rank I can tell you I often think of your husband ever since I first read about this story in the news. I lost many friends while I was in the service, some to battle and some to the battle within after coming home. I know your family remembers him daily, but even those of us that never knew him will ever forget his service and sacrifice.
@@xXVitalsXx I knew very well what I was getting into. Some of the best friendships I’ve forged in life were made with those I served with. Proud to have worn the uniform of my country and I’ll do it again if called on.
I too served for seven years in the Army and currently reside in No. Ogden and during that time. We all came out to pay our respects and it brought the community together just before Veteran's Day that year. I had two civilian friends still working as contractors out there at that time. And I also lost a long-time Army friend in Afghanistan several years prior to Brent Taylor.
As President Russell M Nelson encourages us to invite the Lord to prevail in our lives, Christ is certainly close to your sorrowing trusting heart. You carry this huge mortal loss with complete trust in eternal life. You are so spiritually trusting and beautiful.
Finally! Someone who goes against the notion that life is “not fair.” My own father died at age 47, leaving my 47-year-old mother a widow with 10 children at home ages one to 20 and me in the mission field. Nine of those children went on to serve missions. All have been married in the temple. My mother is now 91 and in her 33rd year of a second marriage. And she’s happy! God bless Sister Taylor for her insight and her courage to tell this story. I’m sure Brent could not be more proud! ❤️🙏
It gives me comfort to know that we actually used our agency to choose our trials. God does not let things happen just because it could happen. And He will not step on our agency and decide what we have to suffer through without our say. This knowledge gives me comfort and bravery. Whatever you feel about it, God will definitely help us learn and make the most of our trials. I agree there. This woman is amazing and a wonderful example. I do love her insights but just wanted to add this in case this point of view is what gives others comfort. The other point of view gives me panic!!

My wife has done the same for me. She passed last June, which has done so much for me. Thank you for this special video. Truly sorry for the loss of your Husband. I truly understand how and now how you felt and still feel.
Today is the anniversary of my dad's death. He was only 61. He will never see me married, have kids, or a million other things. I miss him every day. But so much of what was said in this video really resonated with me. Grief is such a life changing experience...Like she said, I'll never say I am happy my dad died. But I can see the growth and blessings I have received since.
Rebel I can promise you with no doubt in my mind, your dad did get to see you Mary and have kids even your joy and happiness. Never believe he is not far away from you. Dying is the easy part when you live a good life in the Lord. It's the living that have to struggle so hard now to make the best of what we have. Your dad is fine and happy. Your dad would never want his kids to feel bad anymore. Your dad wants your heart to heal and see you smile again. All you need to do is give your dad a big smile and tell him you love him and miss him, in the name of Jesus Christ! Your dad will see and hear and feel your heart when you speak these things . Do this in your heart and one day you will be healed. We all will die one day, but what matters most is, you giving a piece of your loving heart to others. Remember some of your heart is part of your dad's heart also combined as one. You will find in your life of Trials and tribulations they are only obstacles just like on the freeway driving. Being grateful for these trials will no longer be a trial. They will be only Everyday activities we all have to deal with in life, The Good the Bad the Ugly days. Thank you for sharing those great words of concern. Every one of us see death a little differently. I have lost both parents and Mini others in my life. Through prayers Miracles will happen! Please be case patient
As a widow with 6 grown children, this touched me. As I introduce each new grandchild to Papa, someone that they will never know in this life, I wonder if something inside them is laughing because they know their grandfather from before they came to earth. Only by fully relying on our Savior Jesus Christ have I been able to move forward, knowing I will see home again.
“Life is incredibly unfair, in our favor” is absolutely beautiful! I am overwhelmed with gratitude and thankful for the Taylor’s examples of Christlike attributes.
"Eventhough we want everything to happen for a reason, it's probably a better mindset to let God help make reason of everything that happens." - thank you for that🙂
I’m a member and an army infantry paratrooper. I feel you and I love you and I’m truly sorry for your loss. Thank you for your service ma’am. Most soldiers can only hope for a wife like you. Stay strong sister
@@DJK-cq2uy I'm answering as if you as sincere. I am a veteran and when I was in basic training a lot of young soldiers had this very question. I sat and counseled with a few of them. And as a result one was even baptized. "The Lord has said that in the last days there will be “wars and rumors of wars, and the whole earth shall be in commotion, and men’s hearts shall fail them” (Doctrine and Covenants 45:26). As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we are a people of peace. We follow the Savior, who is the Prince of Peace. We look forward to His millennial reign, when wars will end and peace will be restored to the earth (see Isaiah 2:4). However, we recognize that in this world, government leaders sometimes send military troops to war to defend their nations and ideals. Latter-day Saints in the military do not need to feel torn between their country and their God. In the Church, “we believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law” (Articles of Faith 1:12). Military service shows dedication to this principle. If Latter-day Saints are called upon to go into battle, they can look to the example of Captain Moroni, the great military leader in the Book of Mormon. Although he was a mighty warrior, he “did not delight in bloodshed” (Alma 48:11). He was “firm in the faith of Christ,” and his only reason for fighting was to “defend his people, his rights, and his country, and his religion” (Alma 48:13). If Latter-day Saints must go to war, they should go in a spirit of truth and righteousness, with a desire to do good. They should go with love in their hearts for all God’s children, including those on the opposing side. Then, if they are required to shed another’s blood, their action will not be counted as a sin." www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/manual/gospel-topics/war?lang=eng
You ate Truly a Woman and Wife of a Soldier.. Yiu are so strong, trus me I di agree with you that Life is Incredibly Unfair. Thank you for making my day.
What a beautiful, inspiring testimony. I really resonate when you spoke about God not being short handed. Mortality is the reason we have loss. And loss helps us become more like Jesus Christ. Thank you for your faith. Prayers for you and your family!!
I am so sorry for your loss. My heart aches. I am thankful for his service. I was a combat engineer 10th mountain division and serviced 4 tours in Iraq. God is in charge. May God bless you and your family
I love to listen to her perspective. What a great reminder that Jesus Christ had the most unfair life. Yet, he was still obedient and committed to his mission. Thank you.
That is one of the most heartbreaking and beautiful testimonies I have ever heard. I wish I had just a fraction of your strength and faith. I am in a very low point in my life's journey right now and your story was very enlightening and encouraging. Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us. God bless you and your family.
@@s.a.johnson9558 sure thing 🙂 I think most if not all of us can say we’ve hit a low point or rock bottom in life. Sometimes it hits more often than we would like. He hears us individually. Because He is God and all knowing and powerful. 🙏🏽 It is my prayer that you will find peace through those things that you’re struggling with.
@S. A. Johnson, we're sorry for the challenges and hardship you face. Life can be very difficult, but we know your Heavenly Father is aware of you and loves you. I had a cousin join the army after he left school. He went through his training and came back at Christmas. He was tragically killed in a car accident when the driver hit a tree head on and he was forced from the back seat through the windscreen. It was an irony. He was just 17. I am most grateful for the plan of salvation that makes everything right in the end. We will understand all things one day and weeping will turn to rejoicing.
Thank you, I needed this both as an exhausted dad trying to raise his son alone, and also as the traumatized son of a beautiful man who died violently at 62. Reading the comments section also helped me, thank you.
After my good husband of 39 years passed away suddenly, one of my sons gave me an analogy. He said he felt that my husband’s death was at first like looking at a handful of dirt or sand and all one could see was the dirt or sand, but in sifting through that, one could see gold nuggets. He said he felt that my husband and I were going to grow in ways we wouldn’t have if he’d lived, and that once we were together again, it would be even better than if he’d lived out his life and we’d continued on together. Although I miss him every day and still cry after his being gone 11 years, I have been SO blessed. The Lord has taken such good care of me and my children, and opened doors for me. I am so grateful for my Savior and His sacrifice, so that we can be together again. Then our joy will be so full and so wonderful!
Thank you for sharing your opinion but I am not feeling this way at all I lost my husband a year and a half ago and I am still very much in the raw and thivk of things and even though it has only has only been a short time compared to you I will NEVER feel even after 11 years that I
Thank you for sharing! I lost my husband way too soon! I appreciate you sharing your most sensitive moments and thoughts. I am dealing with those same feelings after six years of loneliness and still struggling through life’s challenges without him. I too have been blessed as I’ve had to face life alone. 😊 They do work out… letting go and putting God in charge. He knows more than I.
I have had a whole lot of health issues. Having 5 strokes and more I have had to relearn almost everything and I have had to rely on Jesus Christ and God. I know I am never alone. I have had to learn the 'and' not the "or" I am grateful for all the lessons I have had to learn. I love more. I see the small things as grate!
Great message, did another bi-annual Temple recommend interview today with my wife. I am her 24/7 care provider. As you have exhibited in this video, we can, as has been attributed to Abe Lincoln, complain that rose bushes have thorns, or rejoice that they have roses. These trials can make us better than we ever thought that we could be. I view helping my wife, my dear companion, as my testimony about the words we recite in Sacrament.
This reminds me of a thought that has been coming to me of late. Sometimes the tender mercies of God are tender as they are a gentle mercy; other times they are tender, more like a fresh wound. Both are necessary to experience a fullness of joy and a perfection of faith.
I am so glad you shared that. I have felt those tender wounds lately and I recognize they are a mercy as they have removed me from a greater pain that would come later. This was a perspective I needed to hear. 💛
I don’t know how to express how thankful I am. You have truly blessed people, including me, by sharing your story🩷 Thank you and thank you Heavenly Father for leading us to this video snd taking care of us.
Wow. Thank you for your message of hope and healing. I'm so glad that the Man of Sorrows, who's extremely acquainted with grief, will one day wipe away every tear. He unfairly took upon Himself all my sins, so that I can one day be a joint-heir with Him to all our Father has!
Thank you for the beautiful reminder of who's in charge and will faithfully explain all in the end, dry every tear, and comfort and strengthen the suffering who come unto Him. ❤
What an incredible testimony, thank you so much, Sister!!This soldier lost his life the exact same day, my Mom lost hers, I miss her so much, especially today, on Mothers's day😢.
From one who has stood in harm's way to you, thank you for sharing your husband with us. I didn't know him, but I have had the honor to serve with many like him. They are not forgotten by us.
I had stumbled across this story several months ago and was very touched by the love and spirit with which it was told.❤ Then a few months ago our adult son was killed in a motorcycle accident. I listened to the Taylor's story again with my heart and emotions in a completely different place. Jennie... thank you for the courage that it took for you to share your story and I hope that you can feel of our love and gratitude. You have again blessed us with hope and inspiration to move forward, relying on our Savior and trusting our Heavenly Father.🙏

He loves you and can mend your heart and give you peace. www.churchofjesuschrist.org/comeuntochrist/believe/life-has-purpose/grief?cid=42001274
Nothing like a good cry 😭 I can’t tell you what an incredible and inspiring person you are, Jennie. Everything I’ve seen you do, you do with energy, conviction, compassion, and faith. I feel so privileged to get to learn from your example. ❤
I understand to a degree exactly what she means. I am experiencing some difficult health trials that I have prayed to go away. I have had numerous blessings. My name has been put in the temple numerous times. But still I suffer in constant pain. But through all of it, Heavenly Father has given me a special project to keep me going. That provides comfort and small miracles. I see his hand in it so very often that it lessons my physical pain and brings joy beyond measure. Without my trials, this project would not exist.
Jennie Taylor is an incredible person. I was amazed that she herself acted out her life in this video. It would be difficult for any person with the grief. I can only guess by strong faith In Jesus Christ and compelled by revelation through the Holy Ghost that she needed to do this video. Very inspiring life!
Thanks to those who gave everything. No I really mean thanks. We live the benefits every day. Every sunrise we are here with our families. Thank you for letting us be here.
"God make reason out of everything that happens". Thank you for this illuminating thought. I always disliked the cliche, that "Everything happens for a reason" which I think puts too much blame on God, or a predestined fate, that negates our free will.
I struggle with the concept of God leaving such a monumental thing up to chance. Personally, I don't believe that an all powerful God would leave something like that up to chance. Thats all the more reason to trust in God, regardless of what He sees fit to have us go through.
"Everything happens for a reason" is bumper sticker talk and not at all comforting. Let us think, feel, and reach deeper than that when faced with difficult circumstances.
Thank you to you and to all service members that's tried so diligently keep our country safe. God bless you and your family. We appreciate your bravery
It is an honor to see someone who understand that God, does not make any mistakes. It might be difficult to understand but he has a purpose in all things glory to God and may He Grant you and your family continued growth and strength
Thank you for putting this video together! My husband, Michael, passed in June 2022. The first thing I said to my son was "Dad needed to pass to help us grow". We were stagnant in our lives, in the process of moving to another state. We had trained and prepared for new jobs while packing. Now, we have been given the opportunity to get into to the process of buying the same house he knew was our new house., We are starting new jobs, and methodically paced ourselves. And like you, the Lord is beside me! He lives and Michael lives on watching our family daily. We have been given so many opportunities for growth and service since his passing. The first being that early morning before his blood clots stopped his heart right at our side. Our Rescue First Responder training was not going to change the situation, but it put it in perspective. Reality is difficult, but also kind. The 20 year battle was won by Michael and our Lord was right beside him at the finish line of his life. Now he has a wonderful work to do guiding us. There have been happy times with sad, friendships that have grown and loneliness, but in the end, as you, the kindness of the Lord shines through with someone else serving us, giving of their own love, time, and talents. I have seen many afraid to speak to us, unsure of our reactions, but the majority of them are lovingly giving of themselves. And that is why we are here. To grow. Thank you for your strength and strong family military service. I am so blessed to have people in my life that strengthen me and my son as we continue our journey.. to the new house, and new jobs and new opportunities for service. Trust in the Lord, Be of good cheer . Faith proceeds the miracles. Life is wonderful!
So sorry for your loss. But what a beautiful spirit and strong lady you are for your children. You're a hero as well as your husband. Having sent my son-in-law off for two tours in Iraq I know what a sacrifice that is for families . Thanking your husband for his service and sacrifice 🙏. My mom lost her brother in WW2. All my best to you and your children in your future. You are inspiring. 🥰
Prabin-----. What a cool NAME. May JESUS Bless you too. The sweetest woman I, had ever met was from PAKISTAN. I, hope someday she comes to know JESUS--- because I, told her#Someday you will be in Paradise# YOU, will be too🙏🙏
We lost our father when I was 11. I never felt cheated or angry because I knew that the gospel is true, and that I was extremely fortunate to have had those 11 years with him. Also, to have a mother like you, whose righteousness and selfless life is an inspiation to thousands! She was a teacher and friend to all.
Absolutely love the Taylor’s. I’ve helped watch their children once with my best friend at the time which was her family member. Such an amazing family!
I'm a Veteran as my husband. He's a Disabled Vietnam vet. I cried the day when i heard your husband passed. But your message has helped me so much fir we lost a son and i have struggled since. Your message hit my heart. Thank you... Gods Blessing to you & your family...
What a liberating and expansive realization: that I can be heartbroken and happy at the same time! Thank you so much for living with and sharing such a great perspective!
There is that faith to remove mountains, but there is also that faith to climb mountains. So I'm grateful for this beautiful video. It gives me hope and brightens my path.
Sister Taylor, I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your story. I've watched both this video and the other video you were in, Sunday Will Come. Your testimony and your strength are inspiring. I especially love the emphasis on the "and" the Savior provides.
Heart warming. Jennie has such spiritual maturity. She has come to know what this Telestial world offers and also demands of us. She may feel alone but she is not lonely. She has the knowledge that Brent is "alive" in Christ. Her marriage binds them both together in time and eternity. It is the season of separation that is so difficult to adjust to. God bless her and the children. With a faithful mother in Israel her children will yet rise up and called her blessed. What an example!!
Having faith in Christ means that we trust Him and submit to the will of our Heavenly Father. Having our prayers answered is being blessed by God's love for us, not by getting our requests fullfilled. May God continue to bless you with deep understanding and deeper faith in Him.
I am amazed at this Sister’s fortitude!! God bless her for her hope and faith in the Saviour! Those 7 children growing up without their father! I have nothing but admiration for her! 🙏💐
My mother razed 7of us after my dad passed away when I was just 12 . I was the back sheep of the family I had polio at the age two years old . Talk about hard talk about growing learning lessons. I now have 9 children two full leg braces and Churches to get around. God has been so good to me .I run a auction business welding and tool business. Now my biggest problem is I get tired . It is a good thing I have lots of good workers. God be with you ..
Thank you for your beautiful perspective I can certainly identify. I became a widow in June 2022. I have drawn closer to my Heavenly Father and I have never questioned Him as to why. I miss my husband dearly, but I am comforted that we will be reunited again. It is indeed a time for growth and to try new things. May Heavenly Father continue to strengthen you and your family as you continue in this mortal life.
This video could not have come at a better time of year for all those trying their best to get through the holiday season, with whatever kind of loss they are enduring, this message is so uplifting. Sister Taylor, The Lord is already working his miracles through you, just by you sharing your testimony, and insight on life after the death of a loved one. I will admit that one of my greatest fears is that I might someday be called upon to live a life without my husband. Your strength and fortitude will be my example if that should happen, but also in just living with the unfairness of everyday life. Thank you 🙏🏻
Please please be respectful to this wonderful woman, and to her amazing family. Unkind words don't help people. Compassion and Christlike understanding are key here. God bless you all!
My oldest son Kevin passed away last November 27-21. Almost one year now. When I saw your husbands face close up, I just started bawling. I had this overwhelming feeling of love and loss for him. I love you sister and your beautiful kids. Peace in Christ❤️

I am a military spouse with seven children and have lost my husband another way through his addictions and a marriage of 38 years has been destroyed. It’s been a devastating loss. I can relate somewhat to your story in that I lost my husband but another way. It’s been a painful chapter in my life that I am closing now. I am moving forward with much personal growth and starting a new life. Through it all, I’m grateful for keeping Gods commandments, staying on the covenant path and falling back on my testimony. Thank you for your great example of faith and courage which continues to give us all strength to battle the storms in life with optimism and hope. There is peace in Christ!
I like 3 parts of this message the most: 1. Advice to tell children:Transcript minutes 7:04 to 7:56 2. How folks dismiss the unfairness that exists: Transcript minutes 7:58 to 8:35 3. The "AND" that Jesus provides for us: Transcript minutes 12:22 to end
I was very touched by your story. You are a strong daughter of God who has been left behind to continue the work of your amazing husband. May God bless you and your family ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
I"am myself a vet and have lost family & friends in Iraq (2003) and foot hood (2009) and lost more to suicide and hearing her story brings me to tears and joy for knowing that Jennie Taylor refuses to quit and keeps fighting those dark days and times.
May God bless you, Robert. Thank you for your service. Everything I hold dear and enjoy I owe to two things: God above and good and brave men and women below. Just sent a prayer your way :)
I recently lost my second child (both of my boys are now gone). I've struggled with the 'or' or the 'and' idea. Thank you for helping me understand clearly the concept of the 'and', that it is ok (and probably normal and healthy) to feel emotions and be in places that seem contradictory to each other. Thank you for being willing to share your experience on such an intimate level. Part of the 'reason' brought to everything that happens comes through the honest and vulnerable sharing of our experiences and realizing the commonalities of our shared human experiences.
Thank you so much for sharing this…. I feel that life is unfair because I have to raise my children alone. Because I wasn’t wise when choosing whom I would bare children with. But if you can do it with out a partner with 7 kids I can with 3. Thank you!
Wow. Everyone reacts differently to tragedy, but what they do with it is what defines them. I'd like to do the best I can with what I've been given, like this wonderful sister.
I hope I pass away some day when Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ and The Sweetest Holy Spirit and The Angels 😇 In Heaven call 🤙 me to come home 🏠🏘️🏡 to Them and Heavenly Mother.

It was an honor to be in the hanger when he was returned home. God bless our military brothers and sisters who made the ultimate sacrifice.

I pray God bless and keep you.
Beautiful
Need this, remember its ok to not be ok. Doesn't mean we don't have a testimony. Your whole family is amazing!
@@leswalker2639 What you said here is true, ❤❤❤
❤❤❤
Don't say that; he will see you married and have kids, if not in this life then in the one to come.
Some never even had a dad in our lives
Be joyous
As a widow with 6 grown children, this touched me. As I introduce each new grandchild to Papa, someone that they will never know in this life, I wonder if something inside them is laughing because they know their grandfather from before they came to earth. Only by fully relying on our Savior Jesus Christ have I been able to move forward, knowing I will see home again.
“Life is incredibly unfair, in our favor” is absolutely beautiful!
I am overwhelmed with gratitude and thankful for the Taylor’s examples of Christlike attributes.
"Eventhough we want everything to happen for a reason, it's probably a better mindset to let God help make reason of everything that happens." - thank you for that🙂
Mayor Taylor. You are such an inspiration. We miss you as a mayor and i love seeing the huge flag fly in your honor
I’m a member and an army infantry paratrooper. I feel you and I love you and I’m truly sorry for your loss. Thank you for your service ma’am. Most soldiers can only hope for a wife like you. Stay strong sister
I appreciate your love n service...but what would Jesus say about war? Just curious?
Then, if they are required to shed another’s blood, their action will not be counted as a sin."
www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/manual/gospel-topics/war?lang=eng
That was so kind. Thank you!
@@DJK-cq2uy War makes him cry. Where there is creation, there is war.

What a beautiful, inspiring testimony. I really resonate when you spoke about God not being short handed. Mortality is the reason we have loss. And loss helps us become more like Jesus Christ. Thank you for your faith. Prayers for you and your family!!

I love to listen to her perspective. What a great reminder that Jesus Christ had the most unfair life. Yet, he was still obedient and committed to his mission. Thank you.
This is the most beautiful testimony of faith. Her love for Jesus Christ and her husband.

Cried again. Every time I watch this video it's impossible not to get emotional.
Thank you for sharing that analogy. That is beautiful. So true.

“I don’t think it had to happen so I could learn those lessons, I think God’s let us learn those lessons because what happened.”
Incredible strength, mettle, and might. Thank you Taylor Family.
I love LDS church😊
"This will be good for you" mmmh those pure messages from God always hit the hardest. Pure truth.
This reminds me of a thought that has been coming to me of late. Sometimes the tender mercies of God are tender as they are a gentle mercy; other times they are tender, more like a fresh wound. Both are necessary to experience a fullness of joy and a perfection of faith.
Thanks for sharing, Zach!
I am so glad you shared that. I have felt those tender wounds lately and I recognize they are a mercy as they have removed me from a greater pain that would come later. This was a perspective I needed to hear. 💛
I don’t know how to express how thankful I am. You have truly blessed people, including me, by sharing your story🩷
Thank you and thank you Heavenly Father for leading us to this video snd taking care of us.

"Know thou my son that all these things shall give thee experience, and shall be for thy good"------I AGREE!!!
thank you for the strength, the testimony you have shown..
Perhaps it is more accurate to say that God has a plan for everything that happens.

Thank you for sharing your experiences with us.

Also, to have a mother like you, whose righteousness and selfless life is an inspiation to thousands! She was a teacher and friend to all.

There is that faith to remove mountains, but there is also that faith to climb mountains. So I'm grateful for this beautiful video. It gives me hope and brightens my path.
I really like that, thank you!
Raising my wand for you today, Jennie. No one should have to go through this. ❤

Sister Taylor, The Lord is already working his miracles through you, just by you sharing your testimony, and insight on life after the death of a loved one. I will admit that one of my greatest fears is that I might someday be called upon to live a life without my husband.
I love the perspective of “and”: devastated AND hopeful, etc. This rings true to me in my own trials. God bless you and your beautiful family. ❤️
I like 3 parts of this message the most:
1. Advice to tell children:Transcript minutes 7:04 to 7:56
2. How folks dismiss the unfairness that exists: Transcript minutes 7:58 to 8:35
3. The "AND" that Jesus provides for us: Transcript minutes 12:22 to end
I had never thought of the "or" vs. the "and" mindset. Her explanation of those two different ways of thinking was inspiring. ♥️
I was very touched by your story. You are a strong daughter of God who has been left behind to continue the work of your amazing husband. May God bless you and your family ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Thank you sister for your strong testimony
I recently lost my second child (both of my boys are now gone). I've struggled with the 'or' or the 'and' idea. Thank you for helping me understand clearly the concept of the 'and', that it is ok (and probably normal and healthy) to feel emotions and be in places that seem contradictory to each other. Thank you for being willing to share your experience on such an intimate level. Part of the 'reason' brought to everything that happens comes through the honest and vulnerable sharing of our experiences and realizing the commonalities of our shared human experiences.
I’m sorry to read this sis, I hope you’ve got love & support around you, Much love to you🙏🌷
Thank you so much for sharing this….
That is one of the many reasons to why God knew we would need a Savior. That is why we NEED Jesus Christ, desperately.
