I' building a camp at an unmarked pre-existing dump truck camp located in between National Radio Astronomy Research Center and Camp Venture. It has 2 crafting stations already, and a hostile turret. The challenge I set for myself is I want to build the camp without using foundations. I want it to look very natural like I just found it and started squatting there (which is what I did) I made a courtyard with junk fences and it looks great so far. My question is - is there a glitch that will allow me to use support posts to make an upper floor above the existing structure without using a foundation?
Maybe try placing a floating staircase (blueprint a staircase with a pole to be able to place it in the air) underground and attaching stairs to it so that they show above the ground looking like they aren't attached to anything below. To go underground, blueprint a bass on a rug, place the blueprint on stairs, and move the stairs with the bass to a side of a foundation, which you can remove later, so that the top of the bass is sticking out of the ground. You can then interact with the bass and be placed underground so that you can place the floating staircase.
I've noticed that if you place a regular small power conduit on the inside wall behind the garage door conduit, and then try to connect them, the wire passes straight through the wall without the need for the wall passthrough conduit. Completely hides the wire and you could still put the generator up top.
Great info can’t wait to implement in my camp build. Unfortunately a hurricane took out my power, phone and internet lol. Can’t believe fallout 76 is the one thing I miss. Who needs food and lights if you have FO76 😂 warm beer I can live with
Can you make a video for veterans about what we can do for fun? Other than building, I'm so dead to this game and only deal with it for the daily challenges.
Updating patches to reimplement recent patched ~~feature~~ 'glitch' that allows extra user input... maintain less functionality than previous ~~version~~ 'glitch' . - -circa /bethesda*.* reboot -f
Render for the double walls you can just use regular brick walls then use a flamethrower trap on the first wall and once it is broken you can set another wall on the other side of it. Hopefully he reads this since it will save people some materials in regards to making the flamethrower trap. Also love your work.
Thank you for reminding us of the blueprint technique for the farming section! I was trying to organize my crops and I forgot about this and was getting quite annoyed! Life saver!
They didnt say that they were going to revert the changes they just said they were gonna "try" and see if they could add it legit and not a glitch (and that means the wall is probably gonna be an atomic shop item) *_Edit: they have confirmed replacing walls with door frames but have not said anything about roofs and being able to replace the flat roof with the corner witch allowed floating bases (UFO bases) and have also not said anything about floating foundations (witch also allowed floating bases_*
@@psykergirl3615 actually no they haven't, the only thing they have confirmed is replacing walls with door frames but they haven't said anything about floating roofs and foundations just the walls so not all the changes are getting fixed
I'm building a Deadwood inspired Western town at the moment and it's taken over two days and two sleepless nights so far. So I'm binging all the camp tips and tricks videos I can possibly find to make it awesome! Thank you for these I really think they'll help! It's funny I got so into camp building right after patch 21... :/
Camp building is one of the more interesting aspects of the game. I relocate about once a week or so. And usually the final design surprises even me lol look for Redhammer 7231
The double wall glitch DOES still work with full walls, but it's currently with brick. BUT what you can do, is after you place the brick how you want it, you can replace it with the kind you do want. I can show you, recently got the game on PC.
Love how Bethesda is quick to "fix" workaround to theit shitty building mechanics but hasn't able to fix it for years, I mean you've had it since fallout 4 for fucks sake
Whilst I don't usually float walls, not being able to snap walls to a roof piece is a lot more of a problem whilst camp building, than I initially thought it would be.
I get jealous out your armor everytime I watch your videos! I have a very mismatched set with only 2 Secret Service pieces that fit my build. Can't wait till I can rock a full set that I dont have to hide! LOL
Hey render! Another really cool way to hid generators is to put any of the four variations of them on top of a spike flip trap, manually trigger it then it will make the Generator disappear just make sure to attach a wire to a conduit before triggering the trap and then you can build excatly where the generator was and make space for other things!, just hid the trap and as if you repair it the generator will come back.
It depends on what you are planning to do in it. General gameplay is pretty much the same as Fallout 4 in survival mode. Although you will be always online in a server with others, you will most likely spend most of the time alone except when participating in a public event or visiting other people's CAMPs and vendors. The perk system is much better than Fallout 4 in my opinion due to its flexibility. You can modify your SPECIAL points distribution later on, but it will still cost you skill points, so creating different characters is still viable. You can level up indefinitely, every level after level 50 requires the same amount of XP, and you will continue to receive a skill point every time you level up, but the max amount of skill points that you can distribute to SPECIALs is 49. CAMP building is much better than vanilla building in Fallout 4, but it can get frustrating due to the limitations. Experienced builders have found workarounds to some of the limitations and you can find a lot of guides on UA-cam. You will have to grind to get the best stuff, but if you have any kind of experience with pretty much any MMO, this shouldn't be surprising. In my opinion, the grind isn't too bad compared to other MMOs, but you'll need some kind of luck to get the best legendary gear, as it is based on RNG. If you're not into PvP, then you probably won't be interested in the Nuclear Winter game mode, but I suggest at least giving it a try. As for PvP in adventure mode, don't even bother with it. Make sure to enable pacifist mode in the settings after joining a world so that you don't accidentally initiate PvP after hitting someone. There are PvP zones labeled as workshops that you can capture, so I suggest avoiding those. When you die in adventure mode, you only drop your junk which you can pick back up when you respawn. You will not drop anything when you die in public events and you will respawn nearby after a timer that gets longer every time you die while in the event. There's a lot more to talk about, but I don't want to spend too much time writing things down. In the end, it really comes down to you if you want to play this game or not.
The only bonus to them temporarily removing my most used feature in the camp system (wall swap) is now I've learned a way to do double sided half walls
@Daisy Fields you just have to destroy the first set you place with a flamethrower trap, then place the other two walls then repair all at the camp device
Why don't they just give us walls we can wallpaper on each side ?
They are aiming for a legitimate mechanic for it in the future :)
It gonna be in the atom shop😂
That is the plan but they will monetize it
Ahh yes I can't wait to watch this get removed as well.
Bethesda: Look someone has figured a way to avoid our nosense building glitches and limitations.... HOW DARE THEY
You can use the full size brick walls with the Flamethrower trick for both Door Walls and Window Walls. Just can't swap doors for windows anymore
Cheers Render going to do the planting glitch, plants are all over the place

It works with doors as well. Not just half walls.
Does the hid the generator trick has problem with any roof styles?
When you have 2 devs working on entire Fallout 76, then no wonder they are confused.
Nice glitches, love these videos.
I managed to do double walls last night the old way, they just clicked together
I better hurry and do these before Bethesda take them out of the game like all the stuff this update
Did they remove the ability to build walls. So they stick in the ground without foundation
Whoops... Im an hour late.. 😅

The Camo SS skin is so generic. I don't even want it.

I second this, I made a 2nd character to make new camps because I worked so hard on my main, now I'm bored on 2 characters..
I've started playing grounded lol would be nice to have some content that isn't grinding
I just blueprint for the posts too. Then I can place it practically anywhere. Though this method is nice if they remove that option in the future.
You can actually use full walls and still do them double sided, using the brick set and a flamethrower.
And you can then change them to different types if you want, I like to use the barn for internal doors
Yes, I am about to say the same thing. This also do the trick.
@@LucyJanePlays the white doorframe on the barn walls does look good in most situations.

When did everyone forget about the conduit on a rug/sign glitch? Saves so much, much needed budget
Can you explain?
Does the “metal shutters on doors and windows” glitch only work with foundations?

Why don’t they just implement interior walls & doors, they’re a thing on F4 as a Mod
Good work my man. You can also use flamer on roof pieces to make cool shapes that should have been available day 1
Whilst I don't usually float walls, not being able to snap walls to a roof piece is a lot more of a problem whilst camp building, than I initially thought it would be.
Only problem with placing the posts in the corners is that they overhang if the floor is off the ground or isn’t against anything else
That's cool
Ive noticed that they didnt patch the object merging but made it harder to do
of course this glitch is on PC that is were most of the glitches are coming from and most of the ppl moaning about this game are on pc
Haha! You too finally took the notice. RIP wall interior glitch.
Render, you sexy sexy building god, you. Well played sir, well played indeed.
The walls... U can do it with full wall as well... I have done it with the brick wall
Awesome video Final Render you sexy beast!

How did u get a jet pack without power armor ?
Marsupial mutation makes you jump pretty high but lowers your intel -4
are fallout 76 recommended to buy recently? ive been a fan of fallout but im affraid to buy, it cost me about half of my salary a month in my country

why don't they just make a generic 2 sided interior wall and give it to everyone for free
