The M72 Light Anti-Armor Weapon aka LAW has a backblast deemed dangerous 44 yards behind the shooter when used in an open place. So yeah, everyone in Rambo's helicopter died.
Yep, fired a few in the Marines. That would breach the fuel lines, tank and go kaboom. At a minimum, the people behind him are dead. I laughed out loud when I saw this movie. Also, LAWs don't go, " whooosh", but go "BOOM!!!!!" when fired.

I think that most Men have not understood the beauty of Rambo 2. This is exactly the process of an awaken person.
Uncommon Valor (1983) is a really good movie in the "veterans going back to rescue Vietnam P.O.W.'s" subgenre. That movie has a great cast with actors like Gene Hackman, Patrick Swayze and Reb Brown. Highly recommended if you haven't seen it yet.
@@RedEyeReviews It's a much-better movie than "First Blood Part II." "Uncommon Valor" is based on real-life attempts by Bo Gritz's expeditions into Vietnam (funded by Ross Perot) to get proof of Americans in Vietnam. I would definitely recommend it before those other two movies.
@14:42, you are correct. The back blast from that LAW anti-tank rocket has a 30 degree cone of danger, going back 15 meters (another 25m caution zone); Anyone caught in that area could be killed (especially in confined areas) or more likely, severely injured.
I grew up with this movie. It was well accepted as eighties kid knowledge that Rambo was too good. He was down on the cool scale, but still he was godlike anyway. Rambo- First Blood= great psychological/character drama that masks itself as an actionthriller and also manages to get across some social commentary on how the US treated the Vietnam Vets. Rambo II = unapologetic 80's action-cheese fest, with some amazing set pieces, that spawned a gazillion of imitations. Rambo III = same as Part Deux, but now with even bigger set pieces, moar explosions, moar *DAKKA* and bare-chested Stallone. 14:36 First of all, when he presses the trigger of the M72 LAW it actually is a shot of firing the RPG-7 he fired to the boat before. Also, yes the backblast of the LAW would crisp fry the entire crew of the Huey Rambo is in. Also, it's hilarious that Russians and Vietnamese are using UH1 Hueys, M72 LAWs, and M60E4s, all American weapons throughout the movie. The bad guy helo is a French Puma, mocked up as a Russian Mi-24 Hind, the best attack helicopter of the world when the movie came out
The Vietnamese military used captured American and South Vietnamese equipment after the war including hundreds of aircraft. It is too bad the movie production could not get a real Hind because that is a sexy beast.
.Great review ! I remember thinking it was such a ridiculous movie when i was like 11. Even today there are adults who worship these movies as American divine art.
As I remember he doesn't kills any cop in the first part, that's why it's called First Blood (like the old duels, there were two kinds: to death or to the first blood). That movie is very very underrated and almost completely vanish in the shadow of the next parts. In that Rambo has a soul. He tries to find a way, but only knows war and all of his abilities are completely useless in peace. And there is a second problem: how the civilians relate to the veterans (and this is a real problem in the american society. I always astonished how can a society who loves guns and it's army so much do this with its own veterans). And a third smaller thing: how useless the national guard in real fight. (there is one guy who says: "ok just tell to the others he is dead I want to go home because tomorrow I open the pharmacy") So there is so much value in that movie, and all of the others are "ok I get an even bigger gun and kill even more people" which is completely against everything what Rambo in the first movie wants. The Rambo III is funny because he helps the taliban. The Rambo IV is ok, because the people of Myanmar (I really hope I remember well the country) draw strenght from it because Rambo kills the soldiers they hate. The last movie had a very strong chance to be really good. It could be the Logan of the Rambo movies. Not good as an action movie but good to show us the drama of John Rambo, who never could come home. He tried but he has the war in his mind and cannot forget. (that's why he build the tunnels and everything.) It could be one of the strongest anti-war movies and being a real and sad but great personal dramas. In the beginning of the movie everything was in place to this. But no. They messed it up so much I cannot find words. I was so angry when I saw it because it could have been a good movie but it became a disaster.
"Murdock,..........I'm coming to get you!!" One of the best lines in Action Cinema History, followed by one of the best action sequences ever!!!!

Also, now I have your voice in my head when I watch these movies, so thanks for that.
Haha I'm so glad you like it! And yes you absolutely should go rewatch this movie. It's amazing
I don’t know who speaks in more gibberish Stallone or Segal lol can’t wait for these movie reviews lol 😂
Lol maybe that's why they don't act together. Because the subtitle department would quit
.Great review !
I remember thinking it was such a ridiculous movie when i was like 11. Even today there are adults who worship these movies as American divine art.
Thank you
I am one of them.
@@mikehunt4986 I'm sorry to hear that.
@@spiritualanarchist8162 You must be a blast at parties.
@@mikehunt4986 Thank you. And your oneliners would put Stallone out of work . Take care now.

Lord RedEye
Thank you my friend
Hey RedEye, love the reviews, great fan of the Seagal series; one advice though make your introduction jingle shorter - otherwise great work!
It used to he even longer haha. But good advice. I need roughly 4 seconds I think is a sweet spot
@@RedEyeReviews Great reviews - keep up the good work and numbers will start adding up, here, I just subscribed!
Man I can’t wait till you do Tango & Cash I freakin love that movie I’m not even sure if it’s my favorite between that and Demolition Man.
Hell yeah!
"A bigger string for this necklace" haha! Great Review.
Rambo: *"BBDA CLEAR"*
POW's: "um.....no it's not"
I can’t wait to see you hit your first million subscribers.
That would be an amazing feat :)
I always thought breaking rocks in the hot sun was a prison myth.
