Simply amazing. I am American and live in the smokey mnts Tennessee. So much of the landscape looks just like here in the smokey mnts. I have been fascinated with the English countryside for a while. When the c finally passes my wife and I are coming for a long visit in yorkshire. Thank you for the wonderful tour and video.
Great to hear you're picking Yorkshire for a future trip! There's plenty to see and do here, especially if you're looking to get out to the countryside 🙂 I've heard of the smoky mountains but never been so I will have to google and compare! Thanks for watching
Lived locally during the 1970s - the Estate has certainly developed it into an attractive visitor experience suitable for all....though I do miss some of the original wildness of the old days...
Wonderful time at Bolton Abbey! Beautiful capture and commentary all the way. I like your scamper back to the car park 😀. Well done, my friends. Big like and full play 👍. Thanks for sharing and have a great day.
Wow, what an absolutely beautiful area! Its so nice when the manmade beauty is so close to natural beauty! Looks like an amazing place to explore! Cheers from the 🇺🇸
Hey guys, excellent video showcasing the area. The hiking trails are so pretty in this area, that is kind of cool that wild garlic grows there. The waterfall along the Valley of Desolation was soo pretty, it is an interesting name for a trail!
Yeah that waterfall was very pretty! We've been to Bolton Abbey a few times but first time we've been to the waterfall. Wild garlic is pretty common around here. There's even loads of it in our local park! Thanks for watching 🙂
Been passed it numerous times but never stopped before, having said that, after watching this I now want to go! Excellent video and very informative. I know you said you parked in the village but which of the car parks is best for doing the walk you did? Cheers Alan
Really any of them would work, but if you want to do the walk in the same order we did then I would go for the Bolton Abbey car park in the village, and if not then Riverside (by Cavendish Pavilion). We have always gone for one of those two. Thanks a lot for watching, I hope you enjoy it when you do visit! 😀
