@Caleb Kent "bless your heart." From a southern woman is perhaps the most painful and insulting thing you could have a southern belle say to you. Because in reality they are saying "you poor damn fool and idiot, I truly pity your sorry excuse of an existence."
Im from Texas and yes Thank You is a common word for us everytime you go out to eat you always have to say thank you sir. Some Texans usually say thank you, sir,ma'am and please.
Texan culture are a lot like that of the county of Skåne, where my mama's from and my mammy. A saying is "Good food, a lot of food, food in the right time" with that special broad southern drawl of Skåne. During my lifetime I have heard older friends tell newer ones, while I'm in the kitchen; "You see her mama is from Skåne and they must provide lots of food och good quality and variety." Now people complain about my politeness, "-You're so formal". My mama taught the art of small talk. People from Stockholm, that are a lot like New Yorkers, get frustrated when not only do you have to chat when shoping too, but bus drivers can stop and chat with each other for a couple of minutes. The quality of bigger and tougher exists too. So only just recently the people from Skåne got right back to use their flag officially. Skåne wasn't included in Sweden from Denmark until after a bloody war, that's named after the shotguns used by the Skåne militia in the 17th century. So Stockholm can say what they want, skåne people will go their own way.
@one two lol, there wasn't much conflict between Latin American states but nevermind. Also it's the us who has established dictatorships in South America especially during the cold war
Not all finnish people are cold and quiet, I think the finnish people are not presented well in many cases. Yes - there are many people that avoids talking to random people, but if someone asks them for help, they’re going to help. (And yes, the memes are funny about the finnish people in different situations) And people will talk to each other if they are interested about that person, I think its wayy more good than just small talk random stuff to the person you don’t really care about. Many older finnish people small talk with you when you are waiting the bus or you are waiting on a line. One of the things that I love in nordic countries is that when you talk about your day or how you are doing, they are really listening. I’ve met many american people while traveling and I sometimes get a fake vibe from them. Like they ask you questions, but they really don’t wanna hear the answer. Hard to explain. Through my travels, the people that I bond the most are from Europe, Australia and Canada.
I found this video delightfully amusing, and the funniest that you have posted so far. :) Well I have a strong interest in other cultures, I'm always interested to see what observations others can make about the American culture from an outside, foreign perspective. I would be interested in seeing you cover more geographic locations in the United States and there's much ground you could cover. Eastern Coast (New England), West Coast (California, Oregon, Washington area), Southwest (Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah). I would also like to see you cover my region, the Midwest (Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebreska, etc). Great videos and keep up the great work, I enjoy your videos!
5:52 You know I noticed that people in Sussex, England say "bless" a lot as well. Not necessarily "bless your heart" but all sorts of different phrases with "bless". It's basically the same idea, so it's interesting that it's also across the world in Texas.
I can be a strong independent woman and still like it when a man shows me respect by opening the door for me because they don't have to do it. If they want to be a gentleman then I will be a lady and say a simple, "Thank you".

Seems like heaven to get home after a long day at work to share the night with a sweet, feminine, beautiful, down to earth and caring girl like she.
Had me at "Bless your heart"! LMAO. As soon as he said I used to work in the corporate field I knew where that conversation was going.
Are all Texas women like that? cause I'm an insurance advisor and now I'm worried... 😳
Andrew Pena so what job will make girl momma proud?
Armed security. And now I'm also training to be an electronics technician.
Went on holiday in Texas for one week with my husband about 20 years ago and loved it! The people were so friendly and we had a blast visiting different cities like Dallas, Austin, San Antonio. Love from a fan in Canada!
Hell from South Texas. We have many winter Texans from Canada that visit over the winter here. It's not winter without our Winter Texans. So if you're out and about many times you'll hear English, Spanish and Quebecois spoken! You're welcome anytime. I've visited Ontario myself. Loved it!
hahahahaha there's absolutely no context in which "bless your heart" is "heartfelt."
"I don't have to be hateful, I could just say 'bless your heart.'"
She ain’t from Texas. She said “this song is a about chicken fried” no this song is about the veterans
Good catch!
Fr wtf lol
Actually that song is not about the veterans, it's about being grateful for what you have and where you grew up. Its a song about enjoying the little things.
DelTalkoh Wrong. Go search up the song, watch the official video and you’ll quickly realize that this song has everything to do with honoring the memory of those that died for this country
E K that’s what I said. The veterans? They honored our country ? Same thing? Ring a bell ?
"you want some blue bell on that"
So accurate for us too in Louisiana. We put that shit with everything. I paused the video and went to the freezer lol.
mary clary Johnson
will you marry me 💏🌹🌹
I am an Indian
Dude we don’t have any ice cream at our house and I’m so sad (always bluebell)
Same here in Arkansaw.

I dated a Texan woman in Rome. Her manners were incredible. I happened to date other American ladies before(*), and I have to say that Texan etiquette seems to be quite a distinct thing. Not related, but it was quite an interesting personal discovery: ppl in the Midwest seem to be usually more down-to-earth than ppl from the coasts: the first time I heard the expression "speak my mind", it was from a Michiganer :) (*) Rome has quite a big American community (mostly students).
Interesting. Do you have any thoughts on other Southern women? Or more Northern westerners?
It appears we have so much in common with southerners of the US.
The girl is such a cutie! Love from Russia! :)
Денис Камбин hi how are you brother
especially in the last 4 years.
We do! I have a friend who is from Russia and said she always felt most at home in Texas!
I heard russians dont show much emotions... Is that true?
@@RHasan-yy1fb generally speaking, yes
As a Texas woman: LOVE this.
And, bless your heart.
Is it true that bless your heart is exclusively a passive aggressive comment.
@@syedahmedali5079 it DEPENDS, if you did something dumb a second ago YES!!! Yet it can mean something sweet and kind as when you open a door for a lady...

Bless your heart too, darling
Thank you Texas ladies- this NH Free Stater just loves y'all.
I just felt in love with that girl. So humble, so funny and gorgeous! ♥️ from Russia!

I LOVE this take on Texan girls!!! I'm a DC-VA girl raised by a NC nana, manners are extremely important. You can tell who isn't from the area by how they treat their bus drivers, baristas and no art for small talk. Also, according to people outside the U.S. or not near the south, I smile too much?!?
pcarebear1 yeah stop smiling so much .you damn creep
People in the Midwest is also very friendly

A gf who keeps feeding her bf is a bliss !!
Yes indeed..
true but to get fed with all junk food is not a bliss, it's heart attack.
Exactly
Yes, yes, yes! More YKYD American stuff. I have been waiting for this since I learned about your channel. YKYD a New Yorker is a MUST! Please make it happen.
That's exactly on point. Texan girls have the best manners and biggest hearts!

Just wanna go to Texas now! Felt like it's similar to my region in Brazil (northeast), people are very passionate, eat a lot, and have close relationship with family and friends. I believe, in Brazil, Minas Gerais State as well as Goiás are bit like this also. I love the videos of this channel. :)
i never been to the usa, but some how texas would look like the first option to visit.
Texas is a nice place, there are some places I wouldn’t go like Houston or Beaumont, but otherwise I think you’d enjoy it

I met a Texan girl in Amsterdam ones in the 90ties. She was with her boyfriend, they both were really, really nice. Specially Wendy Beth.
When momma said "bless your heart" to him, I nearly wanted to jump out the window on his behalf.
@Caleb Kent "bless your heart." From a southern woman is perhaps the most painful and insulting thing you could have a southern belle say to you. Because in reality they are saying "you poor damn fool and idiot, I truly pity your sorry excuse of an existence."
AHAHAHAHA! Love it!
If Texas women are like that..... GOD 😍😍, GOD BE BLESSED FOR EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM 🌷
I would probably pass out from the appreciation I would have for you guys from Texas!

I'm sold. Southern girls are awesome. I love a woman with a heart of gold. Especially when she looks like that😍 She's adorable!!!
Im from Texas and yes Thank You is a common word for us everytime you go out to eat you always have to say thank you sir. Some Texans usually say thank you, sir,ma'am and please.
pretty good.
Good manners should always be encouraged. “Thank you” Nice for promoting them :)
man sometimes I wonder why I tell someone thanks for taking my order lmao this is true
This is literally Texan culture and I’ve never seen anything more true. This is great!
The thank you when ordering was spot on, we say thank you 24/7
Also the shirt compliment😂 I do that all the time
Texas is just like fun and respect. I love the way these peoples are. They respect and care for everyone and are really down to earth. Appreciated.
Hey y'all -- I'm from South Carolina and I can say that this video is accurate for pretty much all Southern women. Good job.
ROFL ...bless yer heart!!! (tips hat)
The more I talk to people outside of the US, the more I realize that we are pretty much a bunch of different regional countries.
Its so true different subculutres & dialects/slang in the u.s
Isn't it the case of many federal states ? (China, Russia ...)
@one two lol, there wasn't much conflict between Latin American states but nevermind. Also it's the us who has established dictatorships in South America especially during the cold war

Goddamn compete opposite what we have in Finland. Opposite attract I guess!
@one two oh no, they do it, just they need some alcohol, then they become the most talkative and funny buddies!
@one two I agree. It sounds like a nightmare to live around those kind of people.
Not all finnish people are cold and quiet, I think the finnish people are not presented well in many cases. Yes - there are many people that avoids talking to random people, but if someone asks them for help, they’re going to help. (And yes, the memes are funny about the finnish people in different situations)
And people will talk to each other if they are interested about that person, I think its wayy more good than just small talk random stuff to the person you don’t really care about.
@one two they are cold coz their country is freakin cold. lol

Well I have a strong interest in other cultures, I'm always interested to see what observations others can make about the American culture from an outside, foreign perspective.

Now that's some good ol' Texan wisdom right there
5:52
You know I noticed that people in Sussex, England say "bless" a lot as well. Not necessarily "bless your heart" but all sorts of different phrases with "bless". It's basically the same idea, so it's interesting that it's also across the world in Texas.
It's like half the world is chivalrous and the other half is string independent women who don't need no man to help them.
But at the same time love and apreciate men.
I can be a strong independent woman and still like it when a man shows me respect by opening the door for me because they don't have to do it. If they want to be a gentleman then I will be a lady and say a simple, "Thank you".
If a woman does not like chivalry, you will have a problem reading the room with her from that point on...

Kind stranger what german beers would you say ate the best? I am a huge fan of belgian beers but i heard that germany also has great beer.
@@antoleo2 Don't drink beer from any big german beer company, it's just garbage. There are many little breweries in franconia, Bavaria. They brew beer for centuries and it tastes just great. For example: Schanzenbräu, Lindenbräu or Huppwndorfer, but it will be very hard to get one of those beers when you are not from this area. So I recommend "Bayreuther Hell" to you. It is pretty popular around Germany and it should be easier to get one.
