I met someone used this, I asked about their hair cause it was INCREDIBLE and so brilliant, in the visual way. She told me the brand and that's how I found your video. She said "the problem with this is it doesn't fade! It takes FOREVER" and I'm like "that's a PROBLEM for you?" and they said they like to change it up more often.

Love it!! I just bought this color yesterday and will be trying it today. I'm glad you mentioned that in some lights it looks blue --- I was so torn between purple or blue! Now it sounds like I could have both. 😃 Your hair turned out amazing and the color is perfect. I hope mine does as well. (though I'm much older and dealing with some virgin white roots, which for some people can be stubborn ... BUT I found a video yesterday by an Australian hairdresser guy doing a woman's hair that was 100% gray -- he was using Manic Panic -- and her hair turned out amazing, so here's hoping.)

I used to always buy Iroiro but they raised their shipping costs to make it unaffordable to me ( I'm in the UK)
I switched to Lime Crime as they have the lowest shipping costs

I've never tried lime crime but I know they have been around for ages ! How do you like their hair dyes compared to iroiro ? I felt like this one stayed in my hair for a lot longer than other dyes I've used. 💜
@@flosluna you’d like genie or pony by lime crime genie is more this darker richer purple color and pony is a more pink undertone. It fades really nice and I personally after trying the iroiro I like lime crime much better. This iroiro stains my neck, hands, pillows, and sheets even after multiple washes and always having dry hair to go to sleep.
I've been watching your videos and while you look good in other colors it's fun to switch it up right I get bored with my hair too.. I think purple looks best on you! It's fun and looks good against your skin tone.
I like the dark brown on you too makes your eyes pop.. I am told I look better in darker brown too, but I get bored and change it lol.

How did this end up fading out? Pink based or fade out more of a silvery blue tone?
It fades into a less bright purple, not pink or lavender at all. I love it!
This dye bleeds EVERYWHERE. Idk about you but I absolutely hate this hair dye now. It’s a beautiful color but even after multiple shampooing/conditioner, cold water sealing, and always having my hair dry before going to bed. It stains my pillowcases, my face, my neck, it will even stain my hands if I run my fingers through it. So sick of waking up with a blue neck. Will never use this again it’s not worth the stains. It’s also really dark on me, it’s like a indigo blue purple. Darker than I wanted it to be. And god the stains don’t get me started again it’s terrible.
Damn I was hoping that wasn’t the case I use Arctic fox and I have this problem with the purple
@@lucygunn5905 I really love genie and pony by lime crime from their unicorn colors. Gorgeous gorgeous vibrant color and doesn’t really run unless you’re using like not color sage shampoo
I’ve heard Brad Mondo’s brand doesn’t bleed so when you’re doing different colors they don’t transfer either. I definitely wanna try it knowing I can buy at Sally’s now
It looks awesome! I just bought this today. Did you use shampoo and conditioner when washing your hair afterwards, or did you just rinse it? Someone told me to wait a day or two before using shampoo but I’m scared all of my clothes will be stained if I do that😂
I always use shampoo after I dye my hair because I hate when there is leftover residue from the dye 😂💜 but definitely be careful with this dye because it's definitely staining !

@@jen9946 I mostly only saw it stain my skin and maybe my pillowcase ? I don't think it ever stained my clothes after washing it out. But absolutely we gloves and a shirt you don't mind ruining when you're applying !!

I think your faded color is awesome! Its "Iro Iro" -- i think a Russian-American brand, weirdly enough.
Its great. Its what i use exclusively now. It smells like trix yogurt to me!!

so with this hair dye you dont need to mix developer?
No developer :) you can mix it with conditioner if you want a lighter color though !

Do you have to bleach your hair for this brand ?
No you don't need to bleach your hair to use any colors like this, but it depends on the color you choose (how light it is) and how light your natural hair is. If you have dark natural hair then most colors won't show up very well unless you bleach. If you have medium-light hair then the colors will show much more intensely. I have put this specific color on my natural hair multiple times and it always worked well but was darker than the parts that are bleached. I hope that helps ! 💜
How is it holding up?
I would say that it is definitely the best purple hair dye I have used yet when it comes to the color staying for a long time. I've probably washed it at least 10 times now and my hair is still holding onto a lot of the purple. The only parts that have faded significantly are my bangs which are the lightest part of my hair right now 💜
"bangs" is probably not the best word to use, but the pieces that frame my face is what I mean haha

To anyone wondering I just tried the purple and i am IN LOVE. The color is rich, it didn't fry my hair to hell, and it's been over two weeks and fading has been minimal. Granted I do also work graveyard so i don't see as much sun as some would. DEFINITELY recommend the product.
