It's crazy how warm the Arctic Fox Purple Rain (or Purple AF now) looks - I've used this shade multiple times and I think it's more of a "neutral" purple, not super warm or cool, just that against these cool tone purples it looks warm. However, it definitely fades warmer pink which I'm not a fan of.
That's the kind of comparison video people have been waiting for! You got a new subscriber! ^^ My advice would be to maybe cut the extension in half and keep one as a reference to compare with the washed hair (and maybe to compare with future colors).
Thank you, that is a great suggestion! I have been thinking I would like to keep an unwashed swatch for those very reasons. If I can figure out how to cut them in half while keeping the hair together that would be cool, just not sure how I would keep it together to once cut? Maybe I'll use my old swatches to see if I can make it work. Again, thank you! 😊
Everyone recommends iroiro so i bought it hoping it would look brighter on my hair. In the third wash it faded SOOOOO MUCH and it looked so patchy!!! It kept staining my clothes, my skin, my pillow case even when my hair was completely dry. I wanted to like it so much because the color looked great at first, but it didn’t last at all.

It would be neat if you took it one step further and did a bleach bath or something to see what it really fades out to. blue or red /the tone you end up trying to remove forever and if it's green or pink. Great videos, thanks!

The iroiro looks more indigo than purple to me, very close to the SL but not quite as purple. I tried iroiro when they were just coming out tho and i remember loving them
I’m surprised by manic panic normally when I’ve seen it used it’s the most vibrant and bright! I wonder if you got a bad one or something with that said manic panic always fades super quick. They’re normally like the brightest colors that just don’t last. That’s how my manic panic experience normally goes. The other colors are great though! Maybe I’ve been unfairly avoiding iro iro
I just did Strawberry Leopard and Arctic Fox (same colours) and I HATE it 😭😂 The Leopard is much more cool and blue based and the Fox is more a wine colour and red/warm. It would look better all either colour but definitely not both together. I first tried Grapeful (SL) and Eurphoric Pink (SL). The pink looked HORRIBLE. It didn’t soak in correctly and looked so orange from my hair bleached underneath. I think both colours aren’t the best because I only bleached my hair once with level 30 dev. To like a level 6-7 on the shaft and 5-6 on the roots. But because my hair is curly I can’t bleach it again or my curl pattern will disappear 😭 I put the Purple Rain on top of the SL pink but it still looks like crap. But I’m so exhausted from doing my hair at this point I give up for the week!
I have a question, does the strawberry leopard brand bleed out and stain as much as the Artic Fox? I used to use ION and it never bled out as much but I don’t like the smell it leaves after a few days even the semi permanent one.
