Weirdly it looks dark green/ emerald to me and not black but I really love that colour. Don't know how I feel about the fade into purple though but you do you. It definitly is artsy
the black she used is blue based , black semi permanent hair colors will never truly be black
I second what the other commenter said but also it could be lighting and the camera. Sometimes with studio lights it just f things up/making it way more visible than it is irl

Wow... the comment that you basically said was, if this brush is out of your budget, you don't care about your hair, so use what you've got (or can afford).
Just because someone can't afford your brush, doesn't mean they don't care about their hair or aren't hair enthusiasts.
I've worked in retail on the production side (so I'm very aware of production costs to retail pricing); however, just because someone can't afford your product doesn't mean they don't care.

She said hair tools, meaning...if you're not too fussy about what brushes etc you use, then use what you have. I don't think she said it as you don't care about your 'hair'. Some people use a brush just to 'brush' it. Others use different brushes to style hair.

Stella you should totally try Lunar Tide, the greens are unbelievable. I dye my hair once every 2-3 months, it's so intense and longlasting... their formula, after having tried every hair dye on earth, is unbeatable
Yessssss! I had a mix of Juniper, Cerulean Sea and Magic Oracle for the longest time. Stunning colors! Now I have a mix of Lychee and Fuchsia. Their dye is my favorite!
I actually like the brushed effect with the black and copper. I get the reason why people often don't, it can look undone, but if you follow a lot of color specialists, you will see some wild techniques and patterns and I think it's very unique and fascinating.
I really love specialist dye styles! Especially harijuku styles! Idk if I spelled that right lol
It’s really cool that with the fading hair dye, there came a gorgeous iridescence with all the colors mixed together. It reminded me of beautiful bird feathers. ❤
It is like ASMR to me watching her dye her hair ...LOL. I love her station. She is so innovative and inspirational. I also love that she acknowledged the price of her brush, but also explains it all and knows that it is not for everyone.

I agree with my comment-collegues in that, that I really appreciate how you do all kinds of things to your hair and how you enjoy it as art. It is a bless and a lot of very practical information you convey to us and for that I really thank you for all the effort and hard work. Nobody needs to do the same things to their hair as you, but thanks to you, they can now chose between a lot of more options an fun possibilities with the knowledge they gained through your videos.

People need to understand the difference between a $50 hair brush not being in your budget versus the quality of this brush. Just because you can’t afford it or it’s just not a product that’s for you specifically (like me, I’ve mentioned in comments before that I just don’t use paddle brushes in my kind of hair), doesn’t negate the quality and well-deserved price point of the brush.

I've been trying to decide if I want to stray from the blue hair I've been doing, and this totally solidified me going purple! Just have to find the right mix! Amazing look as usual Stella! I have a bunch of wavy/curly hair and snapped/broke 3 brushes and 2 combs on my hair when styling it (so far). $50 for a brush is not that bad. I’d rather spend $50-80 for a quality product than repeatedly purchase subpar products at $15-20 each.
The only thing I will say is, I admire you a lot. You are amazing, keep going.

Sometimes even istakes or unpredictability can end up working. An idea that happened to me was, I tryed to cancel the green I had with copper permanent colour and it didn't precisely work as I planed. It created a fall look, there it turned copper roots with a fading to brown and green ends (had green for 4 years straight) that is why it didn't cancell the most pigmented part. I should have faded the green more before going with the copper but the end result is quite even and looks done on purpose. Is about experimenting. For me is therapy like drawing in a canvas
I had a hard day a few months back and my fiancé sent me $50 to treat myself and I went and bought the Angelica brush and it is the most bougie, beautiful brush I have ever had and I am obsessed with it hahahahaha it was absolutely worth it

After watching your videos for quite a few years now, I am just amazed how great dark colours look on you😍 love the purple black combo. Oh and also just my opinion on the white shirt and brush debate: I absolutely love the creativity behind that. And it's not like you do that to every single one of your white shirts, no, you have dedicated shirts (and now also brushes) for that, so I personally think they are pieces of art now and look really cool and it's also a great way to remember all the colours you put on your hair. So shortly said, I really dig your habit of using white stuff, when working with colours🤍

I actually really liked it and halfway through the video I went brought black hair dye to do exactly that for Halloween 🎃
This style with the combing was actually new and fresh. People who follow you should know you are a chameleon and have more than enough experience on this. And just enjoy the process and maybe get ideas. Cause the technic can be used with any colour and make a look more fun. Personally loved it.

I also haven't heard anyone complaining about the brushes, if they were bad and not worth the price tag, I'm sure people would be calling her out! I'd believe Stella over people just bitching because it's not a £10 shitty brush, it's a luxury brush and better than her just putting her name on something crap for money! £50 is alot for a brush, but she explained why it's that expensive!
