How To: Purple to Teal Hair Color Melt | Arctic Fox Hair Color

- Arctic Fox Hair Color has collaborated with the stupendously skilled Tegan Fiore, aka @teganfiorehair in a video destined to be more colorful than a double rainbow over a pond full of Mandarinfish! Tegan mixes up a pleasant lilac and a juicy candy pink, creates a custom shade of Aquamarine and throws in a couple Neon Moon "peekaboos" at full strength, and tells you how he does it all along the way!

A couple things to note:
Your results may vary! Everyone's hair is different and there are many things that can affect the outcome of your color including porosity (how well your hair absorbs color & how quickly it comes out), previous products used, damaged/fried hair, how skilled and experienced you are, and so on.
This color job was done on platinum blonde hair (basically silver!) and so unless you have hair close to this color to start, your results will most likely look different. For the most vivid and bright color, you need lightened (blonde) hair, and pastels require the lightest shade, sometimes even toned to white depending on the color you are trying to get. The darker your hair, the darker and more subtle your results will be.
Arctic Fox is a semi-permanent color line of long lasting, cruelty-free, non GMO vivids that are professional grade and smell fantastic! Semi-permanents do not have harsh chemicals including peroxides or alcohols. Adding peroxide or developer to the mix could cause an inferior, splotchy color job!

I think Artic Fox should come out with a whole line of nothing but neon colors. I like the colors that were used in the video, however I would do a couple more yellow peekaboo's just to make it pop more

I totally agree with this. Also maybe a transition from a green shade into neon yellow :-)
I hear this complaint a lot, but I’ve had tons of luck turning any turquoise dye into pure gorgeous green by not toning my hair and leaving it super yellow before dyeing it. The best green IMO is green envy by manic panic. Enchanted forest (when done on an untoned yellow base) makes a perfect forest green.

Oh thank God someone else thought those colors would be pretty together cause I was starting to get iffy about dying my hair in that order because I can't find absolutely no videos/pictures of that combination

Do some looks for the over 50 crowd. I'm 64, my hair is still a mouse brown with hints of glitter. It's just touching the shoulders. The last time I used Arctic Fox I used Aquamarine from the roots to 2 inches out, then Purple Rain from there out. Inspire me Please!!! I love Arctic Fox!!! So much fun!

Why does it go from purple to pink to blue? Shouldn't it be pink, purple, blue for a better gradient?
Usually hair stylist put a darker color for roots to make it look more dimension and illusion of volume. I'm pretty sure it's called shadow root, so I think maybe targets why he added purple to the roots instead of just putting pink.

I had my hair professionally done about a month ago. my stylist used Pervan but most of the color has washed out. i have an ombre thing going on from black to emerald. if I wanted to add some of that color back to my hair would I just have to add this dye onto it or do I have to strip it or whatever? if someone could help me that would be great. these colors are amazing and I'd love to try them.

I think you should make a line of dark colors! I really want to buy your dye but there arent any darks! And im pretty sure that people dont want to buy a bottle of the darkes color, and then mix it with for example: purple

I couldn't tell if you used any lotion/Vaseline on the hairline to prevent skin coloring. What did you use? Or do you even need to?
It's recommended to do that! We've used coconut oil and vasoline before but lotions could work too. Also it's good to wipe away any quickly that gets on the skin to prevent staining.
I would love love love LOVE if you could do a video where you have natural brunette color mixed with the darker blues and purples. So not all the hair is colored. It's what I want to do to my hair but have no idea how to make it look good! Instead of highlights and lowlights you'd have blue and purple. Would that even work? I'd love to see!!
