Its a show put on by KROQ radio station they also put on an annual X Mas show as well & they broadcast the whole thing over the net live while it happens which explains the glitches
I think i've told ppl on YT before atreyu is a "studio band" but if you see how much fun they have screwing up live its kinda cool, the first time I saw the drummer do all the work I thought bad night..2nd time I said never paying to see these people again dc who their with.
one question is that huge drum set really necessary lol i mean Jimmy Sullivan aka The Rev could pull it off and he sang some good vocals and he had some sick drumming skills this guy has some basic drum skills well at least he's doing what he can for this band its not too bad
for a second i was thinking "who the eff is matt shadows?" then i remembered: m. shadows is the singer... i dont know why but i have never heard him be called matt shadows and it just sounds weird...
yea but they werent when they were 18, 19and starting the band.. it probably does come back to bite them, but if avenged sevenfold are mentioned in a forum or something they are the most talked about band afterward because people hate them so much.. but people still defend them as well. i dont mind the names.. the music is good
@progrockrulz Brandon is an amazingly skilled drummer. Fair do's he's got nothing on The Rev, but Brandon plays below his skill level because of all the singing he does. I'm sure that if he did a drum solo live, or played a song that he didn't sing on, the drumming would be epic.
Have loved this track for many years but have never bothered to check the band out before, kind of shocking finding out that the singer is actually the drummer (the other guy can't sing for shit) and that the band absolutely sucks live. Gonna stick to the studio version and forget this ever happened.
These guys never fail to disappoint live lmao every time I've seen them live its been horrible, just like this. Love the band, but yeah terrible live performers, awesome in the studio.
alex does suck live... but in the studio hes good. brandon is good, but not great. but they are still my favorite band. that was the greatest concert ever... metallica, offspring, and atreyu! 2009 had a disapointing lineup though.
