Hi David,I think you did a good job on the video and explaining most of the functions, I have a question regarding the injectors feature, would you mind showing the graph when the car is on and see if you can combine all the injectors in the same window. Also please do the same with O2 sensors bank 1 and 2 as well as short term fuel trim and long....Thank you and keep up with the good work.

Thank you for the video. I've been having so much problems with the start of it. I registered online...took me for ever to realize that you can not do it on google chrome but it works on explorer.... Anyway...my problem is that I connect it to the computer and it says SYSTEM FILE CORRUPTED, and suggest to connect it and update it. I press update and it has been for more than 20 mins "updating and nothing" is this supposed to take that long?

It would of been nice if you started you car and showed how this scanner, too see how the injecter's performing either by graphics or their numbers seeing how good they are putting fuel in the piston.....
What is gear learning used for?
Is this as good as the nt530 for a specific brand? Does it do live data on transmission temp? Some trans have to be a specific temp to open a plug to set the level after a change. Thanks

Can you display how a CVT calibration would be done with this tool, pref Nissan & Toyota

well TBS dose it work on any vehicle model ? and also dose it do brake bleeding
No ABS brake bleed function, you'll need a 2 way scanner for that like an Autel

I bought this scanner just for the SAS feature just to fix my traction control off light.
Can this scanner reset the TCM or Transmission adaptive values?
Not on my Hyundai Sonata GLS, not sure about other cars
Can you program with it? Thing such as windows and seat belt light? Also how meany brands of cars does it support?
You may invest in an Autel to program, as far as reading data, this unit covers quite a few models. I'll have to see about putting together a list.
Can you turn off service lights and set the light to come on in another 8000miles etc?
Can this scan codes from all systems. Including bcm, srs, abs etc.. And data stream for all systems? Please help...
It will link up with some control modules, not sure about all. I have been able to check SRS, ABS, ect as covered in this video in basic review. The more advanced systems such as Autel will give you much more control and information, worth the extra price in my opinion.

it's got abs bleeding functions, but not for my car, not sure if it will work on yours
I bought the vident 702 pro but its being sent back as it will not turn on via the obd2 port only comes on via USB so I'm getting the ancel fx4000

Hi mr. David Stroz. I am also the owner of this scanner, i have a question, can you explain what you mean by changing the inside memory card with 32G? Yes the inside memory is about 7Giga, and yes after update it can easy be reached this 7Giga of memory. So if put extra 32Giga sd card into the scanner, from the side, there is place to put, then all the updates will automaticaly be copied into 32Giga card, right?
you need to take the original 8Gb card out and copy those files to a larger card via a computer as this scanner only has one card slot

@@babybullsmith001 once 8 gig card is in computer, copy content into folder, replace 8 gig card with 32 and copy/paste the saved content onto 32 gig card.
How do you add more then just the one manufactorer to it? for honda/toyota/ford/exc.?
it's got a huge list by default, you can add more via their update software

Just got NT650 Elite only modules seems to read is ABS and Airbag not very impressed with seems useless unless your fault is ABS or airbag related . Does auto vin ok then asks me loads of questions about car ie stuff like duel climate control , auto manual ,engine type etc. surly Vin should give full spec of car. Then when done gives no more information than a £15 OBD2 scanner apart from abs airbag I'm not scanning old car its 2015 Vauxhall insignia Elite did try on 07 Kia Sorrento and guess what airbag and ABS FFS

Hey! I was wondering if you know what I can do to get my Foxwell N650 Elite working again. I did the latest update on the Foxwell website. And after an hour, most of the car models were fully updated except for 17. One of those that didn't make it was BMW. And we have a BMW. I waited for several hours, but they still didn't finish updating. And then I canceled the update. And now it doesn't work at all. Can I buy a new Memory Card that contains the latest update? Thanks! I'd suggest trying to reformat the memory card. If all else falls, contact foxwell support, they do a good job

Hello, I bought the Foxwell NT650 Elite, my car is Hyundai I have intact in every way possible to do the forced regeneration function of the dpf, but it does not work, it always tells me that it cannot communicate with the ecu when I do this, someone has managed to make a regeneration of the dpf diesel particulate filter with this product, thanks.
Will only do dpf regeneration on certain cars and I believe the dpf light needs to be on to do it or car has to be at certain temp

I have been told to update, but I have already done it, I have always tried the hot engine, the engine running, etc ... there is no way, they tell me to try other models, but of course I wanted it for mine.
@@0Enterprise0 I find NT 650 very limited Auto Vin or enter Vin still ask's loads of questions about car Why ? wont do half the maintenance functions only modules its seems to read is ABS Airbag . My car is very common Insignia nothing out the ordinary done the updates still next to useless
I wish you had pulled the sd card out and see what kind you have. How do you copy the 8 gig to the 32 gig? I purchased the 680 pro model and I love your video and you are more intuitive then the others I have seen. Thanks
it's a generic 8gb micro SD card, just get any 64GB version and copy the files over on a computer.
James, did you have any problems getting the verification code? I just got the nt650 elite and have been unable to get the verification code. sent emails to foxwell but have heard nothing back from them.
My scanner has not come in yet. This could be a scam. I paid $269 but the tracking info said it has arrived at the house,but to no prevail. No scanner
@@babybullsmith001 check tracking with your provider and also contact Amazon on this. Often times things get stolen or delivered late around the holidays. Buddy of mine worked for UPS in the past, it's too common.

I bought this exact model and I'm wondering if for some reason there is no United states option on the scan itself, and I'm a little worried because there is no United states flag for language set neither, HELP anyone..

I'm sure it's got a little battery for memory keeping, but power comes from the obd2 port in operation

thanks for your video, i have a vauxhall/opel zafira 1,9 diesel and it recognised my car vin but proceeded to next screens and it failed to connect to vin error so confusing and after manually finding my car it failed to do much , it says it has no codes in system, on the very few things it can communicate with even tho i have a coil light flashing but it didnt pick it up, it did read my rev counter n a few things on that screen ,tho but also failed to update with usb cable but it did so quickly when i inserted its micro sd card 16 gb via a micro sd adapter (not included)into the laptop butultimately i had high hopes for this but its dissapointed me, and in the video it showed vaxhall and opel but i doubt it would of done much, it dont seem to be communicating with my car barely, im going try and send it back, i hope this helps someone .

Eddy I have a Opel Insignia 2009 4 seater Sedan with 2.0 CDTi diesel engine (160HP).
I‘ve seen a lot of good reviews about Foxwell, even Scotty Kilmer recommended the NT650 but I’m not sure if I should buy one of these Foxwell devices. Is Opel is really not supported?
@@Forsaken1990 hi thomas, i sent mine back and got a refund no problem , it said it did opel /vauxhual but it wouldnt comunicate to all parts of my car ,it didnt pick up my coil light fault which i got after changing the injector but after a week the fault went by itself, (i didnt bleed the fuel system so that may have triggered the light) it did allow me to operate parts of the car, i just tried the fuel pump and it turned it on and off which is useful for mechanics but i really wanted it to comunicate with emissions because at the time i wanted to make sure i hadnt damaged the injector but it says it passed all the tests ,so because my coil light went off by itself i did wonder if maybe the foxwell was ok, my first time using any of these readers and im not a mechanic so i dont want to give you anything misleading,but to me it seemed like there should of been more screens to check through like it need some updates but updated and nothing changed,i would be careful, i read good reviews about it too, i guess you could try and send back if it dont do what you need ,had it communicated i think it would of been good for the price, but alot of these machines say they do all these functions but its only true for certain cars and the are misleading unless you got a big budget,i will have to look for another one next time i get fault, if you do try it make sure to put the micro sd card in laptop via sd adapter, not included instead of usb cable because it wouldnt update that way, i wish you look and if you find a decent one ,let me know bud :)
Another Foxwell - Vauxhall / Opel Fail, I have the NT680 and am having similar issues with my 2009 Insignia SRI 2.0T Turbo (Petrol) It will constantly loose communication, or Freeze at a "Please Wait" Screen.
It won't read the Oil Pressure, or Turbo Boost Pressure, and Freezes when "Read Code's" is selected, I've tried waiting 15 - 20 minutes for it to come back with something, but after that amount of time just lose patience.

No, $100 - 130/yr for all software or $40yr for a single manufacturer (Hyundai in my case)
Not had any problems with Foxwell found scanners easy to register Update only problem is they have old site still online if you go on it nothing works and links all dead this would cause frustration new site works perfectly though
Problem is this is a do any car scanner so only does common items ABS TPMS airbag ect and basic OBD2 but for this price your not going to do full vehicle scans like main dealers can . I had this was hoping for full scan ie all modules ended up selling it and got the NT530 It includes one vehicle make but scans all modules and does loads more. If you need to do another make of vehicle make you have to purchase software from Foxwell but scans are as good if not better than main dealer so well worth it . NT 650 is good if it happens to do what you want but its no were near the level of NT530 though but way better than cheap basic OBD2 scanner
Most of the functions you see here either not working or not supported .. I have bought this but it has not satisfied me more than. a standard obd scanner ! Disappointed !!
@@kokojum60 Have used it on BMW X3 with abs + 4x4 problem .standard obd only told me there was problem and nothing more . With NT 650 I could read individual speeds from ABS sensors (they had all been renewed ) found erratic output from OS rear ABS ended up being corroded reluctor ring . With basic OBD2 was getting nowhere have also done forced regen on a DPF . Yes agree its bit limited and it doesn't do special functions on all cars if you want more functions you need dedicated scanner like nt530 + purchase module's . Other option is software for PC I have used fiatscan its excellent , Renault CAN bus , OP COM Vauxhall
I bought a foxwell 650 from AliExpress. The scanner had a device, but there was no response. My thoughts were judged to be defective. I sent an email to AliExpress and sent a video, but AliExpress reiterated that I was only told to try again. I paid for the rubbish and bought it.
I subsequently mailed the problem of the scanner to foxwell headquarters. To date, there have been no responses from the Mail.
Have similar experience one I have keeps asking to update, all I have is a blue screen expensive paper weight

I would not promote the foxwell scaner will have people mad it dosnt even calibrate sad on dodge so it's not worth it even if price I payed 269 for nt650elite dosent show abs senser on live data didnt work for sas ,cust service seid owe well

Sorry to be negative, but if you are gonna do a review on a product please learn about it first what it does, your review was just showing things my £50 scanner does.
I bought one of these. Do not recommend. Actually limited in tge information it displays, not user friendly compared to other scanners, plus all the functions don't work with every make of car. I have a Saab, Nissan & Mini and most of the functions do not work with either. Won't reset service lights; won't regen dpf. 2 functions that it is supposed to do. It looks like its possibly designed to be used on American csrs. I'm in the UK. Buy a different scanner. I bought it after lots of reviews and because it had the most functions. Finally, hasn't managed to automatically read the VIN on any of my cars.
I'm more happy with my Autel than this foxwell, completely different price line though
Seems to be mostly rubbish, but ill give it a few more chances.
Maybe you should master your phone before giving tech tutorials? There is a focus lock feature on most phones...
