I’m more undecided now than before watching
As a Car Dealer starting off ive went for the Autel MK808 just due to coverage plus also it tells you steps to fix the problem which is a very good feature.

Thanks for the review but you keep referring to the Foxwell for High end cars. Does it not cover Low end cars?.And vice versa does the Autel not cover high end cars?. If they both cover the same cars then surely the updates would be a big factor.

Could you just put the services that the foxwell doesn't have as far as srs or bleeding brakes etc. I know they both have most of the main services but the autel has a few more. Which ones are those? Thanks
I have a Foxwell Nt650 Elite. It is utterly dire. I have 3 vehicles, an X-Trail, a Saab 9-3 & a mini Cooper. I have been unable to actually do anything other than read codes. However, it doesn't even do that very well. My Bluetooth obd2 reader plus Torque told me codes that the foxwell didn't give me.
Do not buy foxwell. Autel is way better.

It would be best to use one for pro's & con's, example; live engine data and re-set functions. If you have a $200+k car, you wouldn't own one as you can afford to take it into the dealer, unless you are in Jay Leno's garage. Diagnostics for a 1967 Chevy C10 pickup?

Bad presentation especially always comparing/mentioned manufacturers like porsh, Lambourgini, ferrari, mazareti...
People who buys cars mentioned above will/do afford to use proper service center and not to play with this toys (because mainly most of them are not technically brainy) and will not use local/little garage. This presentation can be done in 5 minutes video max but not in almost half an hour (including adverts) of repeating and talking about nothing.

How would you compared the mk808 vs the mp808 (bi-directional) version? Is it worth getting the mp808 just for the bi-directional feature?
I personally would buy the one that offers bi-directional controls, you can test connections with a test light, especially on something that doesn’t operate very often or randomly.

Update the software ,if it's in the site it should give you the option,also the vehicle need to be on i believe to trigger regen for diesel

Don't Buy one of these if you happen to have a Vauxhall Insignia SRI fitted with the A20NHT Engine (Petrol) Mine wont read codes from the EOBD Menu, and Diagnostics Doesn't show Oil or Turbo Boost Pressures.
I've been trying to return it as Faulty, but they are making it a real pain to try and send back, asking for screenshots of every step I take in an attempt to simply read codes.
I've had a mechanic friend try and use it and he say's it's definitely got some problems.

Dumb reviewer went on ( 4 : 4 5 ) Europe cars on Autel and swipe twice to reveal many high end cars like Aston Martin, Bugatti, Ferrari, Maseratti but when comparing with Foxwell ( 5 : 3 0 ) he says Autel doesn't have those cars.. stupid
Foxwell is a horrible company. Buyer beware!
