Great video Steve , fabulous roads stunning scenery and sunshine to boot , and , you're doing it all with Ben . Can't get much better than that . Enjoy the rest off your trip together .👍
When the weather is kind to you there is nowhere more beautiful than the NW coast of Scotland. You can travel the World and not find anywhere more beautiful to ride on a motorbike 👍
Hi Steve & Ben. Another great episode. I have ridden many of the roads you covered. Ben is doing really well having not long passed his test. New bike can't be far away now.
Have to say you would never know Ben has not long passed his test. 👍 I have to agree, everywhere looks better when the sun is shining, especially on video! Stunning video, I really enjoyed this one, so good to see you guys managed to salvage something from all the chaos. You couldn't have got better scenery than this anywhere in the world. Ha Ha! 🤣 'It cough's and splutters when it's cold' 'They all do that Sir'. I think I would have waited and found somewhere less windy to have lunch if I'm honest! Really annoys me how cars and motorcampers carry on 'barrelling' through expecting you to be kissing the ditch. 😠
Hi Paul, yes, I think Ben has taken to it like a fish to water - he’s very natural on the bike. We were so glad to still get some time away together and the scenery was simply amazing. I agree, we could have found somewhere a bit more sheltered for lunch! 😂
Just loved this. Makes us want to go over this weekend maybe we will 😅! The weather looks good. Looking foreword to next one. I’m glad Ben loves it too 😊
Great vid Steve, thanks for the beautiful cinematography. I think Scotland is the best place in the world, (however I am biased 😂) looking forward to more adventures with you and Ben and also the big bike reveal. The only problem with Scotland is not the dreaded midge it’s that you want to keep stopping to see the scenery and take some pics thus takes you longer to get anywhere. Keep the vids coming Steve, “let’s av em” 😂😂
Thank you! I’m so glad you enjoyed it. Yes, I could easily spend the whole day taking pics and soaking up the views… but those midges!! 😂 New bike reveal just a couple of weeks away 😁😁😁
Really enjoyed this episode in Scotland...the landscape was stunning and your leisurely pace was very relaxing! Looking forward to your further adventures! Steve in the USA
Hi Steve. I loved that. Brought back lots of memories from my trip back in May. I prefer that way round from East to West. I also stopped at that Spar for sandwiches 😊. Looking forward to seeing the Applecross vlog. I remember you doing it last time. Pulled into a great camping spot only to see the no camping tiny sign😊.
Hi both, I'm glad you are enjoying Scotland, and the amazing roads and scenery. I found myself sitting scratching and that was just watching the midges on telly. That can be a downside of the North. I keep on about your next bike can't be far off now. Catch you in the next one.
A few years ago me and my Dad the 500 fantastic memories. Watching your video has me longing to return. It's amazing how the views keep coming wether your going clockwise or anticlockwise 👍🏍️
A beautiful place to ride, hopefully Ben will have some fantastic memories of riding with his dad too! You’re completely correct, stunning views in both directions 😊
Thanks Steve another good one. Its great to see you & Ben enjoying yourselves. I have ridden and driven many of those roads up there and they are fabulous. Definitely preferable to ride rather than drive them. Ben's looking good on his bike and even myself 50 years + motorcycling know that you still need to be prepared for anything riding a bike. Pretty sure sometime in the future your have a brace of GSA's in the family. regards Ted
Beautiful place I'm glad me and my partner ticked this off our bucket list in June,we did it clockwise .and last week we did lizard point and lands end in Cornwall 👍👌🏍️
There are some brilliant roads just off the NC500 which are worth riding one is from Tongue to Lairg the other is from Ullapool just do not turn off for the NC500 route and keep going marvellous tarmac to Garve then just turn right and head back to Kinlochewe to do the Pass there are many road less travelled in the highlands which are less busy in the summer months and many have better surfaces for that reason.
Welcome to my world Steve. We are very lucky to have this on our doorstep and so pleased you and Ben are able to enjoy our land together. It’s a special place and very spiritual - really grounding. Looking forward to seeing your journey over the Bealach na Bà. Your pronunciation was pretty spot on btw 😂🏴
Hi Ken, I’m very jealous that you get to enjoy such beautiful surroundings on a daily basis… That must be the first time I’ve ever pronounced something correctly!! 😂
I’ve done the NC500 a couple of times, and it never fails to deliver, but, you got sun?? Wow!! Btw, first time I’ve heard you sing on one of your videos, and that track was fantastic! Do you have anything on Spotify??
We were very blessed to have some sunshine! I’m so glad you like the song…Yes, there’s quite a bit on Spotify etc. a fairly recent album by Steve Winch & The Inception and three earlier solo albums… Also a few collabs… Jace Everett’s Give Until It Hurts being one of my favourites 😊
I have always meant to ask you when you were immersed in the desert sand what feelings were going through your mind when you could not pick up your bike ? 😮
Hi Peter, when all that was going on I just knew I had no option but to pick it up so I didn’t allow myself to start worrying. Rather than fear I think frustration was my main emotion. I was also aware that I was experiencing an adventure and bizarrely (perhaps with hindsight) was enjoying the challenge! 😊
What a great video mate, ive just completed the NC500 and i recognise so much watching your progress. Hope to see you with a new bike soon mate. PS…would i be wrong in saying that is you singing and playing in this episode ?
Beautiful scenery Steve. On my list the 500. A you tuber had his GSA nicked over night in reims France recently, should of garaged the bike or in a secure parking.
Really envious! Open roads, clean air, beautiful landscape.

Love the inclusion of your music.
Thank you! I really appreciate that! 😁
Stunning views! We are spoiled by fuel injected bikes these days, aren’t we? Thanks for the ride along.
Thanks Paul, yes, it was quite a shock to the system fiddling around with a choke again after all these years!!
epic scenery again Steve, especially along the water @20:20 wow !!
Thanks Arch! I never tire of riding these roads! 😊

Beautiful place I'm glad me and my partner ticked this off our bucket list in June,we did it clockwise .and last week we did lizard point and lands end in Cornwall 👍👌🏍️
Hi Colin, it really is beautiful, as is the Lizard! I need to get myself back down there at some point 😊

Hi Fella. Any news on a replacement GSA??
Hi there, I am finally sorted and a reveal video is just a few weeks away!!! 😁😁😁
"The plan is to find a remote place."
You are in a remote place. Just stop anywhere.
Good point!
Beautiful scenery Steve. On my list the 500. A you tuber had his GSA nicked over night in reims France recently, should of garaged the bike or in a secure parking.
Wow Captain Hindsight, any other gems of wisdom?
Banker
Hi Peter, yes, it’s beautiful here…😊
